^^^Kano undecided? You sure about that? Anytime i see Kano on TV it always looks so untidy and chaotic. I would put Bauchi or Minna before Kano.

You can hardly see any flattering pics of kano on the web.
Kano is highly industrialised by Nigerian standards, thats the secret of the choice.

Buncha desperate weirdo's!

It is hard to understand such a sick opposition.
First to the sad lot, GEJ was a coward... Until he quietly and efficiently binned IBB, Atiku and Buhari.
Then the red eyed fools made him their "retardeen," until he smashed through their "subsidy revolution" and Farouked got rooked.
Now, the prefessional entertainer have changed tune again, they now say:

President Jonathan understands Southerners so well that when he slowly delivers a killer punch, his victim will know that ‘Warsaw saw war’. However, he is yet to master the secret of striking at Northerners.
All hail arseholes! grin grin grin

This is a link to a bunch of white guys from the Armored Fighting Vehicles Association (AFV ASSOCIATION) having a quite limited discussion about Biafran weaponry.
If we had not been led by fools for so long, we would have used these things as a stepping stone to higher heights.

GAR3TH: Then in that case I retract my statement but i still stand on what i said about the vehicles in the pictures being British.
I think you are right about those pics being British armour.

I've have found some pictures of Biafran armour though, an armoured personnel carrier (APC) and the wreck of a tank.

Biafran personel carrier (reverse engineered from Ford T16):

lagerwhenindoubt: You are right, BH and its apologists are only a minority - The Political game that is presently playing out requires a widening PR awareness locally and internationally. Nigeria is slowly being dragged in the mud of terrorist waters by selfish, corrupt and in-human political groups intent of causing as many deaths as possible to exploit emotions and sentiments that can ruin this administration
IMHO, whenever we think boko haram, we should be thinking long term. Their entire plot is about 2015, now imagine this was election year: quite clearly elections will either not hold in the core-North or they will hold under boko harams complete control in an amplified version of the violence that took youth corpers like AikFavour after he refused to register child voters and hand over documents for thumbprinting.

When we look at boko haram in this light, we quickly see that there is a macabre design to their madness. Kano and Kaduna where their operations have intensified, are the states with the largest and densest populations in the North. If they terrorise and traumatise those two states, especially Southern Kaduna that always votes with the Middle Belt, then they can assure themselves of stunning "victories."
For the same reasons outlined above, it is my thinking that they wish to terrorise and drive out the huge Southern (primarily Igbo) populations in the North and then use their voters details to rig 2015. At least a third of the populations of Kano and Kaduna are either Igbo's or Yoruba's from Ogbomoso.

It is a strategy to win with mind control (hence the use of Islam) and by blood and terror.
Jonathan is too weak to be the president- no doubt. Arrest the modafucking sponsors
This tune is old and stale and exposes a weak understanding of the issues at stake.
Boko haram has become a wing of al qaeda, it is an international beast, that is why the US has taken notice and is now primed to take out their leaders with drones or attack squads like they did Bin Laden. You might as well ask why the US hasn't yet bombed Shekau.

Please lets stop making these inane utterances.
Politics › Re: I Don't Know Boko Haram Members- Lateef Adegbite by Beaf: 10:59pm On Jun 29, 2012
lagerwhenindoubt: Alh. Lateef believes in his mind that his has made diplomatic statements that will allow any foreign interest see Boko-Haram as legitimately presenting their grievances to the Federal Government. It is obvious to anyone reading his statements that he is only playing a soft-tune but his intentions and approval of Boko-Haram are in line with Islamic injunctions. American Government is not dumb, they have had decades of history dealing with ISLAMIC Terrorists. they can undermine the Nigerian Government definitely, all it takes is to identify a few Colonels in the Military (They are already fractured North and others already) and fund them adequately to eliminate our corrupt political and religions leaders (what a glorious day it would be) . You can sing romantic berber tunes but all the evidence since the past 30 years identifies who is funding boko-haram, how and why ISLAM is not a Religion of Peace, but one of Fatal Violence and Fear. This is the only Weapon available to ISLAM and it is the lowest and basest of human emotions, (FEAR and VIOLENCE) ISLAM has absolutely nothing to offer humanity but these two actions.
Bro, let us leave Islam out of this, otherwise we heading into a tunnel with no end.
It is not about Islam, but what humans make of their beliefs. The terrorist lords army in Uganda is Christian, for example.
Lets deal with men as they come, boko haram is political, not religious.
Politics › Re: I Don't Know Boko Haram Members- Lateef Adegbite by Beaf: 10:54pm On Jun 29, 2012
I patiently searched through the unfortunate interview for words like, "I condemn boko haram in its entirety," but such words will evidently never come from Lateef Adegbite, who referred to boko haram as "our people" in the first interview that rightly led us to suspect he too was a boko haram member.

I have always maintained that being in opposition does not equate to being a traitor ant subversive. But it seems NL positively crawls with with scum who would spit on their fathers and sell their mothers in the deluded hope of political gain.

The World's Worst Economies: These countries aren't unlucky--they're poor by design.

Ghana has the world's largest manmade lake and the 1-gigawatt Aksombo Hydroelectric Plant, built to supply electricity to Africa's largest aluminum smelter. But the smelter has been idle since 2009, a casualty of low aluminum prices and persistent electricity shortages that have forced the government to divert the power elsewhere.

Ghana is a typical example of the world's worst-managed economies: It's a country that shouldn't be poor, but it is. The West African nation's gross domestic product per capita fell 9% last year to $621, ranking it 154th out of 184 countries tracked by the International Monetary Fund, below resource-impoverished Haiti. With a $3 billion trade deficit last year and $4.9 billion in external debt, Ghana is struggling to pay its bills even as it sits on some of the world's biggest reserves of gold and bauxite, as well as considerable amounts of offshore oil, which is being developed by Anadarko Petroleum ( APC - news - people ) and others.

GAR3TH: Biafra did not manufacture any APC, LAV or tanks. The APC Biafra had in their military were the same ones Nigeria stationed in the eastern region before the war. The same ones Nigeria Bought from the British prior to the beginning of the war. The vehicles in your picture is a British made Alvis Saladin and the other one is a British made Alvis Saracen I .

Read Above, Biafra did not create anything. I still to this day dont understand why you guys like cooking up stories. What APC did Biafra build?
Definitely not true. Biafra manufactured several amoured vehicles:

Genocide
Also the nickname for a home made Biafran armored vehicle used during the battles for Ikem and Obollo Eke in 1967. Federal forces destroyed it.

Red Devil
Biafran home made Armored vehicle adapted from tractors and other earth moving equipment or captured or old vehicles. Produced by the Heavy Equipment and Industrial Materials Group.

Tintinix: On the contrary, looking at the then argument of the governement with the hindsight of recent happenings, it gives credences to the fact that the government meant to remove the dubious incentive of this subsidy from the companies profiteering from it without any/appropraite Petroluem product to show for it. I strongly believe this now.. how then can you explain how someone indicted for taking the remunerations for a product not delivered will be willing to pay up to the tune of $10M!!!!!!.. becuase it is chicken change to them, the honey pot is worth more than that!
Nobody knows how the system operates more than govt officials, so GEJ was able to take one look at the ugliness around him and realised that the only way to end it was to chop completely off the subsidy. Those of us with a little insight on NL screamed ourselves hoarse that the petroleum sector mafia was too wealthy and their tentacles too widespread to be defeated in any other way. With this dollar in cap scandal, we stand vindicated.

The only way forward is to totally remove the subsidy and use the money for agriculture, transport and citizen welfare as the govt originally planned. The pro-subsidy war, aside from being economically foolish and backward, is also completely unwinnable.

Money should be going directly into schemes to help our youth and women, not wasted on fat corrupt bastards in the guise of subsidy. Play this pro-subsidy thing any way we like, the ordinary man loses. Here, we are talking about $10million bribes, yet a young graduate only needs a few hundred dollars (a few thousand at most) on average to be set up for life.

Programming › Re: Do You Need To Be A Math Guru To Be A Good Programmer by Beaf: 6:59pm On Jun 29, 2012
Beaf: Why na?
I'm good at math and I basically write algorithms for a living; so I'm always looking up math ideas to compliment my code and after years of doing it, it has occurred to me that even highest applied math is very easily and naturally expressed in code. Loops for example, are calculus on steroids; with loops, you could do everything calculus can do and a World of stuff calculus cannot dream off; and its the same in all other areas of math.
In math you have strict grey-bearded conventions, whereas in programming there is a natural and easily comprehensible logical flow.

Because code is written in natural language and algorithms mimic the real World, a programmer can do every last thing a mathematician can do, but a mathematician cannot do the half a programmer can. Therefore, it is better to replace math with programming. In fact it is easy to predict that our grandchildren will not study math, instead they would study scientific computing.
I just want to reiterate the above.

<begin digression>
This thread is one of the few interesting ones still lingering around. Lets have more stuff like this, people.
