JTF is now under the command of someone from the ND. Major General Omoregie is unlikely to use women and children for target practice, while going about his duties to the country and setting out assignments for his troops. |
cap28:Dude, everyone knows you and your entertaining conspiracy theories. Welcome to the vulture party that is this thread, you ain't out of place. While you're at it, tell us a few wild tales about how the Obama, CIA, Illuminati and Freemasons are controlling Nigeria. Olodo! |
youngmonie:The Halliburton case is on trial already, however Obj was not named as culpable either in the US or in Nigeria. In fact, unlike IBB, Obj can walk into the US anytime he deems fit. |
jabbok:Dude, rather than preach the unworkable, how about we get the good guys in the main parties to change them from the inside? That is a more reasoned approach to take, there are several exemplary people (eg Wole Soyinka and Gani Fawehimni) who have dabbled into politics and gone as far as setting up political parties, but they have never gained traction; so we are left with the PDP's, ACN's, APGA's, ANPP's, CPC's and other corrupt groupings. The question should be, how we clean the parties from the inside, anything else is unworkable. Expectedly, PDP under Jonathan, has made strong moves in this direction of cleaning up its election mechanism (electronic registration was deafeated, but is sure to make a comeback). The abilty of the President and governors to conjure up delegates for the primaries has been destroyed. PDP is already beginning to see the first steps toward the heculian task of cleaning up. Strongly allied to the question of party corruption is the architecture of the country itself. The way Nigeria is set up encourages corrupt people to run for office and screens out the good ones, with its winner takes all, Abuja feeds all system; but with true federalism and the true representation it would bring by focusing on LG's and states instead of being centred on Abuja, we would find it easier to elect upright people; rather than the selection that currently goes on, we would have proper elections that count. Nigeria's federal govt is "federal" only in name, what we practise is actually Unitary Government, which is suited only to the tiniest, monocultural countries. The system is the real problem, not PDP. |
Its Alonso Vettel Lewis Button Barichello Rosberg Kubica Schumi Kobayashi |
Q2 - Lewis has just popped in the fastest time of the weekend (almost half a second faster than Vettel)! |
jabbok:Tell me which party with nation clout is less corrupt than PDP, they are all the same. The next President will not miraculously pop out of some mystical realm. |
Massa has broken down, so its likely to be a 10 place drop, but he hasn't done a timed lap, so he'll start from the pit lane or last. In the meantime, Alonso has only two engines left for the whole season. It doesn't look good for Ferarri. |
bolanleodu:Since you are so clever, why not answer the foolish question that this thread poses? Thats a challenge. Olodo! People just sit on the toilet and come up with daft positions, that look exactly like what they left in the toilet. ![]() |
debosky:You're getting really foolish now. Is it just the usual jealousy? Or do you just have nothing sensible to contribute to the thread? |

Goodluck Jonathan is the only leading Presidential candidate without blemish from corruption. All the others are neck deep in it, so it makes this thread rather pointless. You need a man without stain to be able to bring the big beasts in Nigeria to court and justice. That man is Jonathan, whose rise to power has been nothing short of a miracle. Stick with Jonathan, the quiet man of steel, he'll take us there. |
netotse:How do you expect foolish questions to be treated? You aren't making any sense (just like the thread). What is Saraki's current asset value? Do you know it? If so, why aren't you asking for it, isn't he a presidntial candidate? Or is it because you know that you can't get it on NL? Same goes for IBB, Gusau, Atiku, Ribadu, Donald Duke, Chris Okotie, Shekarau, Buhari, Tofa, Utomi etc. Above all, isn't it foolish to ask for any aspirants current asset value on the pages of NL (especially when every single aspirant is yet to declare). When did presidential aspirants begin declaring their assets on NL? I really am not the one throwing any abuse here, rather those asking daft questions are the ones abusing themselves and freedom of speech. |
cheap lie
When certain airheaded tribalists have nothing to contribute, they say things like the above. Sad. |
We should have a poll to decide which one of becomerich and ikeyman should represent NL's loony bin. Both guy's are completely gaga. |
3rd Practise times 1. Sebastian Vettel (1:48.028) 2. Fernando Alonso (1:48.650) 3. Lewis Hamilton (1:49.000) 4. Felipe Massa (1:49.023) 5. Nico Rosberg (1:49.056) 6. Mark Webber (1:49.212) 13. Jenson Button (1:50.060) The session ended under yellow flags, but I'm giving this race to Lewis, Sebastian's gonna unravel as usual. |
Goodluck Jonathan is the first Nigerian President to be totally untouched by sleaze. Every single one of the false stories against him have been shown to be categorically false. In Goodluck, Nigeria has its first honest, gentleman, silent acting, effective leader. The false claim people were making about his wife has been categorically debunked by ex EFCC boss, Nuhu Ribadu himself (another good man). The only thing that awaits rumour mongers and beer palour story tellers is shame as their lies against the quiet man are all ruthlessly exposed. |
jabbok:So, if I have pummelled you intellectually on other threads, you turn tribalist? Wow! Just when I thought oyb was the only mental case. |
Presidency mounts security surveillance on Kaduna, Jos News Sep 24, 2010 By Henry UMORU, Abuja The Federal Government has deployed troops to Kaduna following fears that some people planned to foment trouble in the State. According to a source yesterday in Abuja, the government took the action to avoid a situation where religious and ethnic crisis may erupt in Kaduna and Jos, then escalate to other parts of the North The source said that the presidency secretly ordered the deployment troops to Kaduna and Plateau states following Security Reports that some people planned to cause trouble in the two states. The Presidency, the source said, acted based on a text message that was circulated in Kaduna intimating the public of plans by some individuals to create religious crisis in the state. “The GSM text read, “Pls intercede for Kaduna and the northern states there is a strong threat from some people to wake up in the night and start killing innocent people. This is not rumours as one of those involved in the plan told me of the plan which was discussed. Please forward to others” (Sic). It was also learnt that the text had also been obtained by top security personnel in Abuja, and that explained why plans were intensified to mount surveillance over Kaduna and Jos with a view to nipping any possible insurgency in the bud. There had been reports of arms build up in some sections of the north, just as security operatives had reportedly seized a consignment containing arms and ammunition meant to be delivered in Plateau State Another reason why the presidency was because of fears that members of Boko Haram had planned to disrupt the peace in Kaduna state as there were arrangements to attack some strategic places in the state capital during last Sallah break, but for the quick intervention of the Kaduna State Police Command. The Commissioner of Police in Kaduna State, Mr. Tambari Yabo Muhammmad had confirmed the planned attack by the sect at a public function in Kaduna. Part of the pro_active initiatives by the federal government to keep violence off the streets of Plateau state was recorded lately when the military units in the state put together social activities including a marathon race for the indigenes which cut across ethnic and religious divides. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2010/09/presidency-mounts-security-surveillance-on-kaduna-jos/ |
jabbok:Are you a tribalist? |
oyb:I am beginning to understand what slavery does to the mind of a young adult, and its sad. Ask about societe Generale, ask about about Saraki's 35billa scam in Intercontinental! Take Kwara back from the Saraki's! Free yourself and your family! Become human! . . .Only then would you be qualified to ask questions about Nigeria, cos you don't live in Nigeria. nah, you live in Sarakidom! Mad fool! ![]() |
^ Why can't you free yourself and household from "Abubakar" before you start worrying about we Nigerians? ![]() "Abubakar" and his family own you and I guess, your brain too. ![]() Tell us how much "Abubakar" is criminally worth. |
oyb:Any doctor in da house? Pesin don de kolo for hia! . . .Anyways, behold "Abubakar" owner of oyb! www.nairaland.com/attachments/180447_ROTFLMAO_gif3d0c775232c7f27cf80592785b9635b6 www.nairaland.com/attachments/324804_SarakiWanted_jpg83ef0f3bcfba6b279ae2e7e132dcafc5 |

I think the question of Saraki's criminal worth is more pertinent. Jonathan is the first ever Nigerian President that is untouched by sleaze. @oyb Being from Kwara, you're the closest, so over to you sir! ![]() When will you begin fighting for "independence?" That family owns you. ![]() www.nairaland.com/attachments/324804_SarakiWanted_jpg83ef0f3bcfba6b279ae2e7e132dcafc5 |
Poor, poor oyb! I just can't stop laughing at his mental state. Na so crase take de start o! Until one day dem go niked for market! ![]() Instead of fighting Saraki, he is wasting away, getting addled by stuff thats no good for his fragile mind. Please, the topic is Saraki. Lets stick to it. |
Only fools believe the tribalistic story that Ango Abdulahi and his ilk wish to spread. It is so funny that they attempt to twist history out of the bitterness that loss of power (which they think is their birthright) has brought. Groundnut and other crap werent half as important as rubber and oil palm in colonial times. Indeed, the Royal Niger company which formed the basis of Nigeria traded in only palm oil and slaves. It is important to note that the areas where Oil Palm grew and oil business was done were the Niger Delta and South Eastern Nigeria. There was no trade that was more important or more sustaining to the piece of land called Nigeria than palm oil, after palm oil there was no break to the discovery of crude oil in the 1950's. Groundnuts never even fed camels, talkless of Nigeria. So all liars, tribalists, and similar fckers shame on you! |
oyb:Seriously, what was all that crap about drugs? What were you replying to or talking about? Na so crase take de start! Abi, are you under the "influence?" Are you somewhat addled or totally mentally unbalanced? Dis one na wa o! Chai! Wetin man no go see for NL! |
oyb: What the hell are you talking about? I'm sure, even you must begin to understand why I think you are mentally unbalanced! What a freak! ![]() |
oyb:Were you born daft or you are just too desperate to see the sheer foolishness in your comparisons? Sometimes I wonder if you are mentally fit. My lord! As usual, your reading of that article is selective and below par. Please don't try to have an argument with me if you are going to be so stup!d, foolishness really irritates me. |
oyb:dude, one of these days you will just exlode with anger. Beaf this, Beaf that, Beaf again. . . Meanwhile Beaf doesn't give a fck about oyb. ![]() |
When is IBB carting himself off to bar beach, so we can organise the execution? Many people will supply sand filled drums and ropes for free, and of course, many in the army will be too happy to pull the trigger. |
