Meanwhile. . . Yar’Adua’s second term campaign hots up – The Nationhttp://nigerianbulletin.com/summary-plus-news/yar%E2%80%99adua%E2%80%99s-second-term-campaign-hots-up-the-nation/27092009/10071/ |
Why pretend? This is what the North really wants.

![]() A conversation between Yar Adua and Turai while celebrating Nigeria's independence day in Saudi Arabia. Date: 01/10/ 2009. Turai: We're just chopping sha! It is better than 419, Yar Adua: Dem be fool. Turai: Government is going very well; you snobbed Obama and we have even finished those Niger Delta people. Yar Adua: Dem be fool. Turai: Business is good. Ibori has been running this country so well. Why do Nigerians hate him? Yar Adua: Dem be fool. Turai: Hmm, we even brought in the idiot Sanusi. He bailed the banks out with 420 billion, people warned but kai! That man is stubborn! The banks immediately lost value to the tune of 470 billion. Me, I don't know maths but. . . And Nigerians are still praising him. Yakare! Yar Adua: Turai my only Kuli Kuli, dem be fool; let us sell the independence papers next o jare!. . . Let us pray that Yar Adua declares his very own independence and abandons the country for Saudi Arabia. . . Never to return. ![]() |
SapeleGuy:You would expect that the NLers from those states would have pounced on this thread to express their anger by now. But the really weird thing is that only discussion of the ND, Arabic or Islam seems to get them all geared up and red eyed. |
Poor Sanusi! He doesn't understand Its what Nigeria gets for promoting mediocrity to high places. |
Sickening. Even "holy" periods are now excuses for looting. Aren't these the same states where 80% of the population are below the poverty line? |
^ You have a solid point. Abacha was the one that elevated Ibori from a penniless ex-convict, trekking around Ojuelegba in slippers to ultra thief. I strongly believe he is a frontman for the Abacha clan. |

kite baba:Nice one. If you don't mind, I asked because of your name "Francis Kite". It sounds European or American; your singing accent too doesn't sound Nigerian. Were you born in Nigeria? How's the singing going? |
Are you Nigerian? |
@df2006 Don't bother replying ndu_chucks. It is like arguing with a tree stump; he just has no sense. To make matters worse, his forced diction is worse than anything becomerich or egwofor can muster. |
THE AMAKA:Yeah, he did call Igbo's and SS people monkeys on this thread. |
skfa1:The guy is seriously daft. Thats pretty much it. |
^ Donkey! we are talking about you now, not Westerners. Stop spreading the net. If we have anything to say about the West, it will be said within the right context; not from a "tribal" perspective. |
sjeezy8:Easy problem to solve. Create an atmosphere that will discourage it. Thats why those of us who care enough have been calling a restructuring of the country (or dissolution as last resort). There are too many sjeezy's in power because the present inequitable system favours mediocre "tribalists" and corrupt idiots. Nigeria is now the laughing stock in international circles. |
Sjeezy is one funny guy. Sometimes you've got to wonder if his brain is really his ass. ![]() Someone called him the section urchin. . . So apt! |
IG:None of the links you posted mention Nigeria a single time. So in the context of Nigeria, your suggestion of religious symbolism in the coat of arms is very dangerous one. If anything, the North (as acknowledged by the British) were favoured before independence. So how could Northern leaders have chosen a Christian symbol? That said; let us remember that the argument is about Arabic on the Naira. We owe our present numerals to the Hindu's, not Arabs http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indian_numerals Stop believing the "Arabic numeral" propaganda. Northerners DO NOT have a right to demand anything. No one has that; rather we have a right mutual respect; to each be heard and considered. The choice of the word “demand” projects some sort of victim mentality. But if anything the North is far from a victim, the present situation there is 100% percent self inflicted. The Northern leadership have used illiteracy, poverty and religion as weapons to keep their people down; Arabic is one of the main tools to keep you separate and looking over the wall at riches that can never be grasped. The brainwash is so complete that you argue vigorously for the perpetration of the tools of your oppression (even clutching at straws); it is so complete that almajiri’s (“educated” as they are) will kill at a whim. The solution is really simple, if you guys open your eyes. Arabic has also been used in some parts of Western Nigeria and Edo state for just as long as it has been used in the North. But you would never expect the likes of Boko Haram to rise in those parts of Nigeria; neither will you ever expect any mind bending clamour for Arabic inscriptions on the Naira to be made there. You cannot keep yourselves separate and sing “one Nigeria”. It can’t work. No one is saying you can’t have your Arabic. Just keep it strictly out of national affairs. |
There should be a death sentence for corruption. One thing is certain though, Ibori has always been a frontman for Abacha's clique. Nabbing him is key to untangling ND issues and identifying all the ex-generals / oligarchy folk choking life out of the ND. |
Pennywise:Ibori should even stay away from Seme, because guys dey wait. More grease to Ribadu. |
IG:Yes, our official language MUST appear on our currency. Or why call it an official language? Like I asked before, wouldn’t it be ridiculous to consider printing government documents in Arabic? So why the difference for the Naira? Almajiri’s can read! “Oh just Arabic”. Perhaps, all those good folk getting married to 9 year old girls can read too. . . As well as those spreading the word that the West wants to wipe them out with vaccinations And herein lies the problem. We have a largely illiterate population in the North that is making stunning claims to literacy amongst wilful murderers, street urchins and uneducated cult members. It is more honest for the North to embrace the sea change in cultural mindset that needs to be undertaken to bridge the educational chasm with the South. It is not surprising that with attitudes like yours that the north continues to provide macabre religious pogroms annually. All the while, providing zero value to the Naira on which they strangely want Arabic printed (a comprehensively ridiculous idea). An ignorant person is dangerous. IG:We might be culturally different, but we sure ain’t Arabs or even Yemeni. "The Coat of Arms of Nigeria has a black shield with two white stripes that come together, like the letter Y. These represent the two main rivers flowing through Nigeria: the Benue River and the Niger River. The black shield represents Nigeria's good earth while the two horses on each side represent dignity. The eagle represents strength, while the green and white bands on the top of the shield represent the rich agricultural land of the inspiring country. The yellow flowers at the base (incorrectly shown as red in the image) are Costus Spectabilis, Nigeria's national flower." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coat_of_arms_of_Nigeria It isn’t surprising that you missed the reference to the eagle above; I haven’t written in Arabic. ![]() |
^ Another stupid, rambling answer. Olodo. The base line of this argument is, English is Nigeria's official language and Arabic has no place on our currency. Period! How daft can you get? While some of us (you don't seem to get it) are talking about Arabic incriptions, you have been dancing around; asking donkey questions such as if the govt is legitimate. So printing Arabic on money is what decides the FG's legitimacy? Damn! They need new choir boys. Don't put yourself forward if you get mentally lost at each simple iteration of a simple enough topic. Before you start talking about the road to Ore next, let me remind you once again that the argument is simply; "Arabic has no place on our currency". Ode. |
So how come Ibori is the only one Ribadu is crusading against? He is only ranting because his beans is burning. ![]() |
@szeezy What a coward you are! You are just scared stiff that your political "arrangements" are going to scatter. Do you really care that much that the thieves and scoundrels making Nigeria the laughing stock of the World are being kidnapped? So what if problems start in the North? You think people are going to watch them throw the same old bullshit as before? No way man! Is any bleeping almajiri going to rampage amongst your loved ones without getting uprooted like a weed? Stop shivering and be a man, there is much more to gain from freeing our country. Cowards die many times. . . |
IG:The bottom line of this argument is that, English is Nigeria's official language; Arabic is totally alien and without any footing in Nigeria. How about this for a joke; why not print government documents in Arabic because some people cannot read English? Why not?! ![]() If I write an English sentence in cyrillic alphabet, a few things remain clear;
[li]it is cyrillic[/li] [li]cyrillic is Eastern European (eg Russia)[/li] [li]you will not expect countries outside Eastern Europe?(eg America) to have it on their currency[/li]
As to the Nigerian coat of arms being Christian; that is a load of BS. It is completely ignorant and laughable. The Coat of Arms of Nigeria has a black shield with two white stripes that come together, like the letter Y. The yellow flowers at the base (incorrectly shown as red in the image) are Costus Spectabilis, Nigeria's national flower.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coat_of_arms_of_Nigeria Even if Northern Nigerians are all bona fide Yemeni, they live in Nigeria and must conform to Nigerian expectations. Those whose allegiance lies in Yemen can find their way back there. Let's not divorce ourselves from reality. |
@OnlyTruth and Uduzue Make una no mind me jare o! @Niger_d Oya, land make we break some kola and pour libation (but still tell that boy make 'e lef Clara waist o! ) |
The Nigerian lawmakers want the government to conduct an audit to determine how many illegal Chinese immigrants there are in the countryEhn! At the very least, I would expect that our embassy in China to have records at their fingertips of all Nigerians entering and leaving the country. An email should do. No? If all else fails are flight records simply thrown away? |
I go respond to df2006 and Beaf on Saturday. we get plenty issues to handle, soon enough I go expose una. Una problem pass arabic inscriptions, I go extract una views soon enough. In de maintime make una answer dis simple question: Do you believe that the Nigerian government is legitimate? na simple question, so una no fit say na pigin I take ask de question. Together or separate, we go find solution for una. una fit ignore me or bury una head for sand, dat no go change de truth say, the crop of leaders wey Nigeria get including una governors, love de fact say una dey confused.
This is now approaching joke level. Does govts decision to stupidly add Arabic inscriptions (or not) to the naira somehow determine its legitimacy? Maybe you don't even know the meaning of the word "legitimacy". As for "exposing" anybody, have you exposed corruption in Abuja? You won't go looking for your genuine enemies kidnapping you guys in Kaduna! No? Stay there and "expose" ordinary Nigerians. Boko Haram. ![]() |
@df2006 ndu_chucks is Hausa (look through his posts), he's more used to Hausa thats why he murders pidgin english so violently. ![]()
beaf, nobody dodge you. ngwannu, I dey here left right and center, so na which issue i dodge? e be like say na you be de real maradonna. which issue I dodge? raise am and I go address am. but if you dey fear, no yawa. just remember say, inasmuch as una no fit swim 100miles offshore, una no fit claim offshore oil wey dey there.
Stupid. So has the money from the offshore oil wells served to raise the average marriage age for girls in Kebbi state from 11 years? Have the offshore oil wells saved 9 year old girls from child marriage and the ravages of Vesicovaginal fistula? Have they saved your miriad illiterates from stone age belief that the polio vaccine is a scourge? Have these oil wells educated your people such that they have become insulated from neanderthal movements like Boko Haram? Has offshore oil given you guys more security in your traditions, culture and heritage so that there is no need to masturbate over Arabic inscriptions and realise you aren't even remotely from Saudi Arabia? What indeed, has govt provided for the North apart from some bleeping Arabic on the Naira notes? A simple almajiri palliative. https://bop.nppa.org/2007/thumbnails/512/00014025/UES_Evangel/00014025-UES-Evangel-001.JPG |
^ You have dodged every single issue that could have given your replies some gravity or at least, a degree of responsibilty; and you want me to go addressing some puerile bulletted points? I won't, if you have something to say; say it. Reminder. . . Beaf: |
Key features of the new notes include their small size, pictures of some past Nigerian heroes including the famous female porter Hajiya Ladi Kwali, bold numbering, map of Nigeria, the national colors and the denominations written in the three major languages of Ibo, Hausa and Yoruba
Good to hear that. We have a govt that claims to be a democracy, yet operates like a secret cult. Everything is propagated as rumour. . . .As far as the Hausa bit is not written in Arabic. |

pls go and expand your mind.dont single out arabs coz everyone hates blacks even blacks that are lighter skinned hate darker skinned blacks and often ridicule them whether african americans or africans especially nigerians. as a kid,i'd always here little hausa kids singing a song when they saw a particular type of white bird "bellbela bellbela bani fari in baka baki" it means "bird, bird give me your white and i'll give you my black" if blacks themselves didnt hate each other, would they sell each other in the transatlantic slave trade,in one case,a black cheif sold 200 blackmen to a white man for a mirror, actually he exchanged or bartered 200 men for a mirror so he could look at himself,IS THERE NOT SOMETHING INHERENTLY DIFFICIENT IN BLACK PEOPLE
