And the last question is, if the house has flats for rent would the tenants also be jailed for renting a house from a landlord whose source of income isn't known?

Depends on your definition of much.

There are three major tracks in the data space: data analyst, data scientist, and data engineer.

A data analyst uses no-code/low-code tools to analyse data and communicate insights. The most common tools they use are Ms Excel, Power Bi, and Tableau. Excel is for reading data, wrangling it, cleaning it and analysing it. Power Bi and Tableau are for visualizing and communicating the results of analysis. You can use both of them to create all sorts of graphs and maps.

Data Scientist is just like a data analyst except that he/she uses coding tools instead of no-code/low-code tools. A data scientist also deals with a lot larger dataset than a data analyst. First you need to learn the Python programming language. I advise you to choose Python because it's easy, more common and is useful for many other things than data.

After learning the basic Python syntax, you'll have to learn the common data science Python libraries such as Numpy, Pandas and Matplotlib. Numpy makes it easy to work with large numbers in Python. Pandas is for reading tabular data. Think of it as Excel for Python. Matplotlib is for visualizing data. Think of it as Tableau or Power Bi for Python.

Your typical working environment will be something called Jupyter Notebooks.
An alternative to Python is R programming language.

Then you should learn SQL which is a language for reading data from a database. Finally, you will need to brush up your statistics.

Many data science courses will tell you that's all you need to excel. Well, it's enough to get you an entry level job but to really excel and see the power and beauty of data science you should learn machine learning and deep learning. Machine learning is simply how to use a computer to make scientifically proven predictions based on some data. Deep learning is a sophisticated aspect of machine learning.

No, you don't need a very sophisticated computer to learn all these. 4gig ram is okay. Google has a platform called Colab. It's a free but internet based data science environment that gives you processing speed and power that many laptops can only dream of.

Data Engineers are software engineers who specialize in building software for managing data. They create database structure for collecting data. They create the roadmap for data known as data pipelines. I'm not really familiar with them but you can easily read up on it.

To get started with data science, you can search YouTube for "data science with Python course". You'll get more than enough results.

Once you're familiar with the concepts and have decided to stay with data science, you can proceed to buy a certification course. I'll suggest that you start with ustacky dot com. After their course you can proceed to jovian.ai/learn to learn machine learning and deep learning. Jovian also has a Python for beginners course but Ustacky's course is more beginner-friendly in my opinion.

Settlement culture scam.

There's almost nothing you can get done in this country without someone asking you to settle. Even citizens ask politicians to settle them before they'll vote.

Someone links you to a job, he'll ask for settlement as if you'll do the job together or he isn't getting paid.

You go to police station to get vehicle papers. They beg you like almajiris and even worse. These men in black are the worst. They'll even demand extra settlement money from driver because he's packing goods. As if it's on their head he packed the goods.

School teachers expect parents to settle them because their child came first in their subject.

Civil servants will ask you for settlement just because you got a government contract that relates with their office. They care little (at best) whether you deliver or not.

Until we learn to do our job and play our civic roles without expecting settlements, please forget about ending corruption in this country.

I have some friends who run a charity organization. They get funds from foreign countries. These bank workers will be requesting for like 50k settlement out of 500k funds.

Even me that sometimes use my account to collect these funds and spend my time and money, they gave me I think 10k or 20k the day my car had accident on the way to the bank. I spent about 60k on the car. But these ones are asking for 50k just to do their job!
