Anambra state is a major eastern state worst hit with red sand (not so good soil sef)and can be annoyingly dusty...the best thing is to construct good roads and do interlocking on the remaining parts.

The red sand makes the whole state look ugly with uneven landscapes dunno what past governors have been doing with the allocations. The billionaires of the state are only building big big private houses and no good roads leading to these houses....all running away to Lagos/Abuja/Porthacourt . Nothing has really changed in Anambra...state capital be looking below expectation. I was there last November to attend Chief's daughter's TM,,,Lol

So far so good Ebonyi state remains the most beautiful eastern state with good land scape.

*Note*

Before u come underneath my post to fire, remember this is my sole opinion...you can drop yours without spewing bile or else we go down the dungeon together.
Probably another Anambra in southwest not the one in the east

Just as promised by Gov Willie Obiano of Anambra State, massive road construction is ongoing in the State to ensure that most of the roads are completed before the rains.

To ensure that these roads are built to standard, the governor on returning from Rome where he was honoured as a Knight Commander of St Gregory the Great, began an inspection tour to have first hand feel of the quality and level of work at the different construction sites.

In less than 10 days, Gov Obiano has inspected ongoing construction works at ten different roads in Fegge, Onitsha where he added Ihiala Street to make it a total of 11 roads.

The governor has inspected the Anambra International Airport Dual Carriage Way; then the Eziowelle-Umunnachi-Umunya road; Nimo-Oraukwu road; Stamford Road in Awka amongst others.

Aside roads, last Monday, the governor inspected two giant Regional Water Schemes located in Anambra East and Aguata local government areas in the State.

And today, Gov Obiano will inspect construction works at Storm Diversion/Erosion control works at Uruagu, Nnewi; 7 different roads within Omagba Phase 2 Layout in Onitsha; Esther Obiakor Dual Carriage Way in GRA Awka; and then inspect St Joseph's Catholic Church Road Nibo with spur to Amawbia-Nibo Road.

Under Gov Obiano, ndi Anambra have experienced daily maintenance of all existing roads; construction and reconstruction of roads and bridges in both rural and urban parts of the State.

Igbo people, una dey funny I swear grin Some times when I hear a full blood Igbo man from Delta State, bearing Igbo names and speaking their language claim he's not Igbo but he's Deltan, I begin to laugh. But when it comes to appointments meant for Igbos, they'll gladly accept, then it becomes a problem for me to understand being from another tribe. When did you suddenly become Deltan? When Gowon created artificial boundaries right grin what about when another state is created out of Delta State in the future?

A Yoruba man in Kabba, Kogi State sees himself as a Yoruba man. In fact, one even warned me when I mistakenly say they are Northerners. Same as a Yoruba man in Illorin. A Fulani man sees himself as Fulani no matter which State or artificial boundaries he finds himself. An Igbo man in Delta or River would say he isn't Igbo but is ready to enjoy anything Igbo's supposed to enjoy. I don't seem to understand it
And North are killing themselves up north, you are so United and you lost Kwara to Fulani because of communal war among yourselves, I can see the unity in West, three Christian governors in West support Amotekun while the Muslims doesn't huh Can you show me evidence of any war between Igbos across the Niger and their brothers.

Emefiele has taken that of SS.

SE is a to zone and her appointments belongs to SE and not by any proxy of names.

I have toured both states Oyo and Ogun, you can't compare Ogun to Anambra, or Oyo to Enugu, Imo to Ondo, Osun to Abia, Ekiti to Ebonyi southeastern states are far ahead of these your states in developments, I have lived in West befor relocating to east my wife was born and brought up in Akure, Ondo state, these states are backwards, you will understand better any day you visit southeast

Stop comparing south east Nigeria to China. They are billion years apart.

Am not in the cartegory of people you can boast to. I have toured 36 states in Nigeria deploying major infrastructures and know what plays. There is absolutely nothing in South East and why migration to the west is still celebrated there.

Tell me, what's in the South East that works independently? Civil service grin
