Politics › Re: Why Cant Nigerians Resort To Self Help? by bebe2(op): 11:13pm On Oct 08, 2014 |
egopersonified: As much as we should be our best critic, I believe nigerians have always involved themselves in 'self help'. From water board, everyone now owns a borehole, our public transport system is majorly private owned, cleaning our streets and drainages, and I think the major part is that we are responsible for our nepa repairs even to the extent of buying transformers and metres. The constraint facing the road construction issue can be that it is capital intensive, again not everyone has a car on the street, so how do you share cost, heard sometimes the govt asks people to pay the money into the govt's account and they would repair the road, with our level of corruption, who would do that? Sometimes people stop others from repairing becos they are awaiting the contract to be awarded to them from the govt, so many issues. But some private individuals still tar the whole of their street alone. With time, we will get there. well, i hope we do get there, its taking awfully long though |

OneNaira6: Is the OP talking about the same Nigeria we know or another one?
The Nigeria where brother's can kill another brother simply because he got money or richer than them?
The same Nigeria were parents would sell off their own kids as house boy or housegirl just for money.
the same Nigerian were obas collect bribe to destroy their own way?
Is this the same Nigeria you asking why can't community come together to save money, etc.
Obviously OP, you don't know your Nigeria or it's people yes, its dat nigeria. we r not talking about saving money, we r talking about fixing their rds and other projects that will make their lives easier. dnt forget, d rich also cry. an erosion flooded rd is no fun for anyone, whether u r in a hummer or in a beettle |

Toks2008: I am in love with you.
I love intellectually sound ladies. A turn on for me. You just sums up everything.Check! check! check! a thousand likes.
This is why i still feel something for my supposed ex because if there is one thing i can bet anything on, its the fact that she is sexually decent and irrespective of what went down between us, i can not accuse her of sexual infidelity and worse still if she is doing it, as long as i have not discovered then it is non and void but the day i find out that a lady cheats on me sexually with another man,no more story, that is a man for you. tnx bro, *smiling and fluttering my eyelids* |

donclichy: you said it all maam. Damn, bout that hormone thingy then am not gona marry a non virgin. Ok o, e go tay u then. Dnt forget that a non virgin has had enuf hormone and has managed to control it. But a virgin has no experience wit different "hormones" so the first outside one she tastes will be the end of u in her life. |

Babaji111: Women do forget that no matter how men have sex outside their homes, there won't be any noticeable physical or whatsoever changes that sex would cause on them. But women having sex illegally has a lot of physical and biological effects on them. Few among the effects includes: 1. Loss of virginity (for spinsters) 2. Unwanted pregnancy 3. STDs 4. Breast stacking 5. Virginal enlargement or looseness 6. Disrespect to her spouse (if she is getting 'IT' better outside) 7. Loss of morality and sound faith 8. Lack of interest in her spouse 9. Lack of interest in spending good time at her marital home 10. Psychological defects in rare cases......etc
So, NO reasonable man will forgive his spouse for exposing herself to the above. This is not a matter of Beijing Conference it is NATURE that made man and woman differ . Bro r u kidding? Everything u listed can happen both ways, and I mean everything. And pls forget this loose virg-ina issue. Its a myth, one mans tight is another man's loose |
