PoliticsRe: Minimum Wage: Accept Offer That Won’t Lead To Job Losses, FG Tells Labour by Bebigiby1: 8:12pm On Jun 12, 2024
Yes you can not compare percentage between private sector workers and government workers but government workers ability to afford commodities and services provided by the private sector also drives the economy…. Paying government workers a fair minimum wage will boost purchasing power of many Nigerians this will benefit the economy and private sector patronage….

Joy2dworldxyz:
How many people sef way this yeye federal government employ?
Like what's the percentage sef??

Go everywhere in this country na private businesses you go see and their pay no reflect this so called minimum wage. Make Dem allow person hear word
PoliticsRe: Minimum Wage: Accept Offer That Won’t Lead To Job Losses, FG Tells Labour by Bebigiby1: 7:55pm On Jun 12, 2024
Private sector are not mandated to pay the same wage as government as business owners negotiate directly with workers…. If all governors are able to pay themselves a harmonized humongous wage package then they have no reason not to pay a fair minimum wage in their states….

GboyegaD:
Bunch of clowns (both Federal Government and Labor).

The Federal Government hires less than 30% of the entire work force and I am sure States might suffer the impact of a very high minimum wage more; however, the highest chunk of workers are in the private sector and the minimum wage unfortunately in Nigeria does not translate to this sector. This is because the government does not enforce the minimum wage efficiently due to their inefficiencies and the difficult business environment in Nigeria for the private sector.
PoliticsRe: Minimum Wage: Accept Offer That Won’t Lead To Job Losses, FG Tells Labour by Bebigiby1: 7:43pm On Jun 12, 2024
You can not pay workers but you can spend N90 billion on religious pilgrimage…. You can increase budget allocations for political office holders….

casualobserver:
You cannot pay a worker from nothing. If your income cannot pay workers, it cannot pay. If it didn’t dey it didn’t dey!
PoliticsRe: Minimum Wage: Accept Offer That Won’t Lead To Job Losses, FG Tells Labour by Bebigiby1:
This is a threat by the government to NLC and workers…. In my opinion it is an indirect statement revealing Tinubu plans to conduct mass retrenchment of workers to protect the looting formula between him, his political cronies and the legislooters at the National Assembly…. NLC and TUC leadership made a huge mistake by calling off the strike prematurely without achieving any solid results…. Tinubu will now foot drag presenting a new minimum wage figure to frustrate labor unions efforts at getting a realistic minimum wage passed…. Even N250,000 proposed is still not enough based on current economic realities….. I hope labour union leaders have a plan B on how to proceed now that strike has been called off….
You can not negotiate with a deceitful government headed by a dubious character like Tinubu….

No one benefits if Nigeria’s economy is destroyed…. Remember that it was this same divisive sentimental mentality you’re championing through post that made Tinubu president…. Some Yoruba people thinking that they were hurting the Igbo people voted in mass for Tinubu…. While those in northern part of country you can’t see beyond religion fell for the Muslim Muslim ticket and voted in mass for Tinubu….

PresidObi:
We are not impeaching him. The only thing that will stop people from this my brother politics is a hard reset.

Please allow Nigeria to keep sliding, some people may get some small sense after this turbulence.

With what is happening, Nigerians may not have a country by 2027….
PoliticsWhy Nigerians Must Push For Impeachment Of Tinubu by Bebigiby1(op): 9:44pm On Jun 11, 2024
In May 2023 I made a post regarding the dangers of allowing Tinubu and the evil APC government to continue to rule the country, many tribalistic foolish people in this forum were quick to attack the thread without offering any reasonable explanation to justify the illegal presidential election that was rigged in favor of Tinubu…. Today, many of those who were championing hateful tribal propaganda after the election in support of Tinubu can’t afford to eat 2 square meals or pay their bills, it gets worse as unemployment rate rises due many businesses leaving Nigeria….

When Tinubu told Nigerians that his government will continue from Buhari stopped many people thought it was a joke and didn’t take it seriously… it is this unserious attitude and sentiments of many Nigerians to national issues that has led us to where we are now…. It is no longer news that this government has failed and lacks the capacity to make policies that will address the numerous challenges facing the country…. Allowing the government to continue means a guaranteed path to the destruction of Nigeria’s economy. I am of the opinion that Nigerians should in earnest begin to mobilize for mass peaceful agitation to push for the removal of this bad government before Tinubu destroys the country completely…. A bag of beans is now over N100,000 how bad will it get until Nigerians wake up to the reality of their destruction…..

Nigeria appears to be a failed state today due to the rising cost of living, insecurity and political corruption caused by this government’s bad policies, looting of our common wealth and incompetance of Buhari and his governement in the last 8 years. It is glaring that Tinubu's presidency was the final nail in the coffin to a nation with a debt ridden economy and insatiable greedy corrupt government officials. If Nigerians continue to seat and do nothing or waiting until 2027 then Nigeria may not exist by then as it is on it's last lap and we may never recover as nation as Tinubu and his cronies in the National Assembly would’ve borrowed trillions upon trillions to loot, dashing any hopes of reviving the nation’s economy by 2027.

After one year of this bad government, one thing that we should all learn from past events should be that no one gains from tribalism and religious sentiments, it is a useless foolish ideology and if some Nigerians have refused to learn now, they will surely learn the hard way as the economy continues its downward trajectory due to Tinubu’s bad economic policies and looting campaign of politicians in all arms of the government….

There is no other way, Nigerians youths must rise above ethnic and religious sentiments to reject the continued existence of the evil APC government, Tinubu has nothing to offer Nigerians, he should be pressed to resign or be impeached and his incompetent government dissolved so as to enable competent people to come in and rescue this country’s economy before it is too late!

The economy will benefit immensely if workers are paid a fair minimum as it will boost purchasing power of many Nigerians…. If people can’t afford food and basic services how then do we grow the economy or rescue the productive sectors like farming or manufacturing sectors that depends on consumer patronage…. What is the root cause of Nigeria’s inflation…..? simple it’s bad government policies, corruption, mismanagement and excessive looting of public funds that’s meant to be used in boosting Nigeria’s productivity….. For those who are against this battle for a fair minimum wage, I am waiting to read your prognosis on the matter….

So it means your services can’t help many Nigerian workers, this is why we must all join hands to push for a fair minimum wage for government workers….

CACservices:
Yes, there are fees that could go above ₦62,000, the proposed National Minimum Wage.

The amount charged for CAC registrations varies depending on the type of entity to be registered.

For example, Business Name Registration is generally the least expensive option. The cost for Registering a Company (Limited Liability Company), is higher and can vary based on the share capital. Incorporated Trustees Registration has its own specific fee structure.

Post Incorporation services like filing of Annual Returns, Correction of information after Registration, etc., also come with varying charges.

Thank you.

PoliticsWhy NLC And TUC Must Reject N62,000 Minimum Wage Offer by Bebigiby1(op):

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wrhfwWiLSrc

After 5 days of negotiations it appears NLC and TUC have accepted Tinubu’s offer of N62,000 as the national minimum wage even though some governors kicked against it. If a bag of rice is over N70,000 and a bag of beans is over N100,000, how will a government worker with a family survive on N62,000 salary?

Before the nationwide strike that crippled economic activities, NLC made a commitment to workers that they will not accept any amount that doesn’t reflect current economic realities, the inspiring rhetorics from labour union leaders pushing for drastic cut in cost of governance, legislators pay and accountability galvanized mass support from Nigerians. Now that labour leaders have compromised and agreed to N62,000 from N400,000 proposed earlier…. How will NLC and TUC leaders look at Nigerian workers and say that the deal of N62,000 as new national minimum wage they made was done in good faith? What happened to the drive to push for a drastic cut in cost of governance, what about billions of naira been made to the useless National Assembly members that offer no real value to Nigeria’s economy? With the dramatic turn of events on the negotiation table, rumors on social media that the NLC and TUC leadership have been bribed to accept N62,000 minimum wage maybe true. I wonder how the current leadership of NLC and TUC can convince workers to go on another minimum wage strike or convince Nigerians in general…. N62,000 minimum wage is not realistic, as prices of goods and services continue to rise NLC and TUC may call for another strike making the current negotiations a waste of time…. If NLC and TUC leadership lacks the negotiation skills or can’t implement a strategic campaign that will bring about sustainable realistic minimum wage then they should resign…. Organizing strikes and protests then ending it prematurely with nothing to show for it, has been the order of day and it is not working….

Tinubu’s corrupt government is a government of propaganda and deception, this is why I had recommended that the labour unions should not have called off the strike without getting a documented commitment from the government on a realistic figure as minimum wage…. now it seem to be too late as the government will get a court injunction against NLC if they try to go on another strike over the minimum wage.

NLC and TUC must not accept N62,000 as new minimum wage as doing so will cause an irreparable damage to its integrity and relevance going forward, the labour leaders should know that Nigerians are watching, as prices of goods and services continue to rise, it is workers that will bear the brunt if NLC’s fails to negotiate a fair minimum wage….
PoliticsRe: NATIONAL STRIKE: NLC, TUC Betray Nigeria Workers Again? by Bebigiby1(op): 2:51pm On Jun 04, 2024
They have lost their bargaining power by ending the strike remember this is not the first time…. The government may not take them seriously now that strike has ended…

PoliticsNLC, TUC Ends Nationwide Strike, Another Betrayal by Bebigiby1(op):
Now that the strike has been called off, what did NLC and it’s affiliates gain by shutting down the country? As I said in previous post that ending this strike prematurely without achieving any concrete result or commitment from the government is akin to digging their own grave.

1. The pressure has been lifted on the government, it will be difficult to embark on another strike, as the government will definitely seek a court injunction to frustrate any attempt by NLC to stage another nationwide strike.

2. A deceitful government with a criminal minded president like Tinubu will not easily yield to labour’s demands knowing that the strike has been called off and it will be ridiculous to mobilize workers again after dashing their hopes severally.

Due to the national support behind this strike I had propose that the labour unions sustain the pressure and only call off the strike when the government commits to a realistic minimum wage amount…. But now that it has been called off… it is business as usual…. another win for Tinubu and his corrupt cronies….. NLC has no bargaining power now….
