PoliticsRe: End Tinubu’s Government Or Nigeria’s Economy May Collapse Totally By April 2024 by Bebigiby1(op): 2:10am On Feb 19, 2024
It is because of people like you that I made this post and you proved me right once again…. Many Nigerians are passionately tribalist. There is bitterness in my post because tribal sentiments has beclouded your mind and you can’t reason objectively…. From your post seem you’re Yoruba or Tinubu supporter so any criticism is automatically Igbo or IPOB…. quite sad that many Nigerians reason this way….

AkinPhysicist:
You're either Ibo or from Edo.

The BITTERNESS gave you away.
PoliticsEnd Tinubu’s Government Or Nigeria’s Economy May Collapse Totally By April 2024 by Bebigiby1(op):
It is no longer news that Tinubu’s government has failed and has nothing good to offer Nigerians. As the dollar continues to rise against the naira, Nigerians must as a matter of urgency demand for an end to this shameful disastrous government before there is total breakdown of law and order as result of a total collapse of the economy…. Tinubu needs to resign or be impeached because if nothing is done and his horrible government is allowed to continue experimenting with Nigeria’s economy, dollar will eventually hit N2000 within the first 2 weeks of March 2024. Time is running out, Nigerians need to put aside tribal and religious sentiments and push for an end to this evil APC government as it is now a matter of survival….

Apart from rejecting Tinubu and protesting over economic crisis, now is also a good time to protest for the devolution of power. Ending APC government is not enough as we must also push for a restructuring of our political landscape….. any agitation that will advance the restructuring of our government towards weakening the center and empowering our states/regions is a step in the right direction to find a lasting solution…. This is because one major setback we’ve experienced over the years since democracy was restored in 1999 has been our inability to unite and hold our corrupt evil leaders accountable over tribal and religious sentiments….

Apart from corrupt tendencies of many Nigerians, it is common knowledge that many Nigerians are inherently tribalistic and religiously bigoted…. politicians over the years have mastered the art of divide and rule, they are able to exploit this tribal sentimental weakness among Nigerians and successfully deploy tribal and religious propagandas every 4 years to remain in power.

Because of widespread spread tribalism orchestrated by evil politicians, the centralized democratic system of government we are practicing overtime has become a weapon against the people, it has become an enabling factor behind the tribal hatred that has grown between Nigerians to the point that there is now a widespread mentality among Nigerians when it comes to national matters called the “National Cake Bazaar” syndrome so when a Yoruba or Fulani man is elected President even though his tribes men know his unrepentantly incompetent, corrupt and not fit for the office, due to tribalism and the “national cake bazaar” (Our turn to share the nation’s wealth) syndrome they will support the criminal to the detriment of the country….. This is why Nigerians are unfortunately plagued with bad leaders and incompetent governments… this is why dubious characters like Tinubu can easily manipulate the people and become president….

No matter who is the president…. No matter the political party in power as long as we continue to practice this current centralized democratic system government no genuine progress will be made….

Protesting and removing Tinubu’s shameful government is not enough as it will only create room for another manipulative politician to become president and feed on the people’s deep rooted tribal hate for each other…. the vicious cycle continues….

Many Nigerians are passionately tribalist, helplessly religious due to historical painful events (For example the Biafra war) and cultural heritage…. For us to progress, deliberate action must be taken to address these deep rooted issues. If Nigerians final decide to protest and Tinubu is disgraceful removed, we must canvass for a restructuring of our political landscape by establishing a decentralized system of governance that will accommodate our cultural heritage…. A government that will truly represents the interests of each region and it’s people….

For there to be peace, there must be reconciliation as nothing can be achieved without peace and without peace there will be no genuine progress. We must do away with the centralized democratic government system that politicians since 1999 have used to loot, deceive and continue to fuel tribal hate among us and adopt a decentralized system of governance…. you may call it true federalism or regional governance…. Whatever name you may want to call it as long as it will advance peace, justice, equity and fairness in our national polity…. A decentralized system of government with strong regions/states is what we need now for Nigeria to heal.....
PoliticsRe: Economic Crisis, What Nigerians Must Do To Save Nigeria by Bebigiby1(op): 2:18am On Feb 18, 2024
The reason I said the Supreme Court validated a fraudulent election was because of the events that occurred during the trial….. the revelation of Tinubu’s forged certificates and lies under oath…. A clear case of perjury that was swept under the carpet by the apex court. It is true that Obi and Atiku failed to prove beyond reasonable doubt how the election was rigged but Tinubu should’ve been disqualified based on the evidences presented regarding his forged academic certificates which he tendered under oath to INEC.

You said “ You can't continue to make the last election fraudulent and still want people to forge ahead or come together for a solution.…” it is no longer news that the last election was fraudulent, we must come together for a solution because at the end it is Nigerians that will bear the consequences of this bad APC government. I didn’t support Obi or Atiku because I knew that our national issues won’t be solved by elections just as I said prior to the 2023 elections, we must push for a reset of our political landscape to progress as a nation…

khalling2008:
You want people to come together and you are playing with people's intelligence in the 2023 election. You said the Supreme Court validated fraudulent elections. Tell me how the Supreme Court validated fraudulent elections.
How many states do Obi win in northwest, northeast, north-central, and southwest?

You can't continue to make the last election fraudulent and still want people to forge ahead or come together for a solution.

O boy, forget Obi in the next or future election, he will never win in this country. Because of what? Because;
1. We are tribalistic in this country, not only Hausa or Fulani or Yoruba or Igbo. Everybody in this country is tribalistic. If you are not tribalistic, why did 99.9% of the whole Southeast vote for Peter Obi in the Southeast, what of another candidate?

The last election showed that Igbo were the most tribalistic people in this country, they all voted for their tribe while other tribes in the country spread their vote to all three 3 candidates.

2. We are too religious in this country. After the tribe, the next thing is religion. 99.9% of people of the southeast dislike anything called Islam in their region. You people that dislike Islam and you want the Muslims to vote for Igbo Christians, No, it can't never happen.
Yes, Northern Muslims dislike Christianity too but they still accommodate Southwest Christians and South-South Christians more than Igbo Christians. For example, Obasanjo was voted for in 1999 to win the election and it was the votes from the north that made him the president even though some people from Yoruba were against the candidate of Obasanjo because of Abiola (June 12).

Forget all that is happening in this country presently, Igbo Christians will never rule in this country unless they change their attitude toward other tribes and other religions.

Please criticize me maturely and bring your point without insult but if you try to abuse or insult me, I will give you back bumper to bumper, I NO SEND UNA.

There is no contradiction in my submission, I am canvassing for decentralized system of governance that will advance a more equitable representation of our people and interests…. The major setbacks we have been experiencing in this current dispensation has been our inability to unite and hold our evil leaders accountable…. These politicians are able to deploy tribal and religious propagandas to divide and weaken us whenever there is an attempt to challenge the status quo…. In their quest to control the people they invent the “National Cake Bazaar” syndrome in the minds of Nigerians so when a Yoruba or Fulani man is elected President even though his tribes men know his a criminal and not fit for the office, due to tribalism and the “national cake bazaar” (Our turn to share the nation’s wealth) syndrome they will support the criminal to the detriment of the country…. Many Nigerians are inherently tribalistic and religiously bigoted…. You asked a question why don’t we struggle economically we can’t because the current political system is faulty by design and doesn’t foster unity…. Nothing can be achieved without unity…. We must do away with this centralized democratic government of deception we are practicing and adopt a decentralized system of governance…. you may call it true federalism or regional governance…. Whatever name you may want to call it as you said “Y shaped river” as long as it will advance peace, justice, equity and fairness in our national polity….

Broveens42:
You are just contradicting yourself. Infact, your suggestions will only worsen it, since the country is an amalgamation of different nations in one. You can't buy innate feelings no matter how hard you try. Azikiwe, awolowo and co all tried it, and it hasn't work right from day one. It only got worse when they continued fighting the idea of Biafra after the 1967 war.
Till today, millions of dollars are being spent to stop the emergence of indegineous nations. Why won't you struggle economically, especially when you are not a productive country. The only solution is to respect the natural separation of Y shaped River in the amalgamated region

As a people it can be done if we agree and take the necessary steps to achieve it. Nigerians need to come together and establish a society built on fairness and equity….. without justice we cannot move forward as a nation…. We keep doing the same thing and expecting a different result…. Only when a decentralized system of governance is established where the interests and identities of our people are truly represented and respected then can we attain true greatness as a nation….

Now is the time to restructure and decentralize our political system of governance before it is too late to salvage Nigeria’s economy….

Even if Obi or Atiku is elected as president and they have good intentions, a section of the country will most likely reject them based on sentiments and work against their government because they are not from their region…. We must face the truth, the system must change for us to move forward…. We are only wasting time deceiving ourselves that the current centralized democratic system will foster peace or work for the benefit of the people….. No house can stand for long on a faulty foundation….

PoliticsRe: Economic Crisis, What Nigerians Must Do To Save Nigeria by Bebigiby1(op):
As I’ve written on so many threads, Nigeria’s economic and political problem is foundational…. These evil political leaders are able to rule because the people are not united…. Our current political system of government is designed not to foster unity because we are inherently tribalistic and religious due to our cultural heritage…. For us to prosper we need a decentralized system of governance that will accommodate this cultural heritage…. A government that truly represents the interests of each region and people with a merit system to ensure that only the best is chosen to lead…. let each region/state control its fate by controlling its resources, development and security (State Police), let more powers be devolved to regions/states…. We can not get this in the current centralized democratic system of government we are practicing this is why our people are frustrated…. This is why it is difficult to progress as this evil leaders will continue to deploy tribal and religious propaganda to divide and rule us…. We must reset and change the system to move forward before it is too late….
PoliticsEconomic Crisis, What Nigerians Must Do To Save Nigeria by Bebigiby1(op): 2:47am On Feb 14, 2024
In 2023, when the Supreme Court validated the fraudulent election that produced Tinubu, a criminal as President, many Yoruba Tribal bigots celebrated his emergence and kept insulting other sensible Nigerians who predicted the negative impact that a Tinubu presidency will cause this country. Today, many of those bigots can’t afford 3 square meals or take care of their families…. The truth is that Nigeria is in its current state because we have consistently failed to unite against injustice and corruption…. we have consistently failed as a nation to hold our evil leaders accountable over tribalism and religious sentiments…. When you support a selfish criminal like Tinubu who has no shame and celebrate him for rigging an election…. A man who was central to the emergence of APC, Buhari and the terrible state of the country…. How do you think you will prosper?

Nigerians can now see that the end is near with Naira edging towards N2000 to $1…. Those who think that by leaving the country they will escape what is coming…. Sorry to say this but they won’t as long as they have families and relatives in Nigeria, whatever happens will affect them….

Nigerians lost a golden chance to save Nigeria when they allowed Buhari’s evil government to rig and install Tinubu as president…. Overtime I’ve seen many media propaganda reports about Tinubu’s government plans, policies and economic jargons on how he will turn Nigeria to paradise but the bottom line is that you can not plant yam and harvest beans…. Corruption can not fight corruption…. Evil can not produce good…. Tinubu has nothing good to offer but media and tribal propaganda, the sooner all Nigerians realize this the better….

Now that the chips are down, what Nigerians must do in order to survive and avert the impending economic doom is to unite (Even though we don’t like ourselves) and end this shameful APC evil government…. Once APC is gone then we must push for the formation of a national conference that will be tasked with forming a new people’s constitution that is based on equity and justice which will guide the new decentralized government (Restructuring) that will emerge. The lives of our children and future generations hangs on our ability to do the right thing, it is not too late to act and reset the system…. If we continue like this…. No matter your tribe whether Hausa, Igbo or Yoruba no one will be excepted when Nigeria’s economy finally collapses….

It is time to wake up and say no to tribal and religious sentiments…. It is time to end the deceit…. We must act, seek for justice and equity in our national polity, it is only when we embrace a merit system in the process of choosing our political leaders can we move forward as a nation….
PoliticsRe: AFCON FINAL: Super Eagles Lost Because Of Tinubu’s Bad Government by Bebigiby1(op):
Debating events that occurred before 1999 is not valuable at this time because we moved from military to civilian to make things better…. You will agree with me that our leaders are worse than their military counterparts you can see our debt profile, recklessness and callous policies dished out daily on the masses…. Making frantic comparisons doesn’t negate the realities of what that have transpired in this country before even the tournament or the AFCON finals…. there are merits to your analysis regarding coach and team decisions but the bottom line is that the terrible state of Nigeria’s affairs rubbed off on the team last night…. You saw some APC propaganda media agents before the match were already making it look like Tinubu achievement that Super Eagles win is because of his government support…. Some Nairaland agents were even using the payment of outstanding salaries of team technical crew as an accomplishment…. As I said you may not agree but these are effects of bad leadership….

The last time Nigeria won AFCON was under GEJ government, I watched the final…. You may not agree with me there are consequences for allowing evil people to rule you. You make a case regarding CIV president been worst than Nigerian leaders but go and check his performance and economic gains of the country under his rule (https://www.africanews.com/amp/2020/10/29/poverty-and-growth-ouattara-s-economic-record-turns-mixed-results/)….. then compare that to the 8 year APC rule you will swallow your earlier statement…. What is Buhari and Tinubu’s economic records? Nigeria has evil corrupt leaders and terrible economy coupled with insecurity…. A third term bid didn’t stop majority of the people of Ivory Coast from loving him…. As I said earlier we can’t reap success when injustice and corruption reigns supreme….a terrible situation that permeates all facets of our polity, sports, Super Eagles is not an exception….. Nothing good can come from evil APC government until we rise above tribal sentiments and demand for good governance….

dealslip:
32 teams started and SE was one of the last two, is it the bad government that made it reach the final? Games are won and lost. If your tactics is right you win if not you loose. The CIV team that won has a worst government than Nigeria. Their president, whom the whole of Africa fought for to become president in 2010 is now on a third term which the CIV constitution doesn't permit. He is worse than the people you insult here. I don't think any politician can pull a third term bid in Nigeria successfully but he did throwing the nation into serious unrest which is still affecting their economy till today but guess what they won the AFCON. The failure of SE last night rest squarely on the shoulders of the coach.
PoliticsRe: AFCON FINAL: Super Eagles Lost Because Of Tinubu’s Bad Government by Bebigiby1(op):
When you’ve a bad government like the current one in power, do you think the country will make genuine progress with the kind of selfish greedy politicians running the country? If the head is not okay the body can’t function right…. In my opinion, yesterday’s Super Eagles loss is a reflection of today’s Nigeria….. Until we tackle the root issues even sports will not be spared by the effects of this bad government….. as a people we must rekindle our moral compass…. It is either we move forward or we move backwards…. Corruption has eaten deep and no public institution is functioning right anymore…. Maybe you’re Yoruba and Tinubu supporter but just like every other public institution that has been infected by this bad government…. Super Eagles will not be an exception…. We need to clean up the mess by holding the government responsible in order to truly reap the benefits of victory not just in sports but in all aspects of our polity….

dealslip:
It saddens me to see young Nigerians reason this way. This is why our religious leaders have been able to manipulate the people of the country with witchcraft stories. Yesterday's loss has nothing to do with the Presidency but the coach's overly defensive approach. That approach is not suitable for the final. Let's be positive in our outlook and let our judgement of situations be very objective. That's why we are always praying about enemies of our Father's house because we always attribute everything to luck, spirituality and witchcraft.

PoliticsAFCON FINAL: Super Eagles Lost Because Of Tinubu’s Bad Government by Bebigiby1(op):
Before the AFCON final I made a post regarding the need for Nigerians to reject the physical attendance of Tinubu or Shettima at the AFCON final. Based on the draconian policies that Tinubu unleashed on Nigerians and terrible state of Nigeria…. I foresaw the negative effect that their active support and presence will make on the Super Eagles AFCON campaign…. As usual many bad tongued Nairaland tribal champions attacked my post and calling unprintable names in defense of Tinubu….

The truth is that the antecedents of this evil APC government can not be overemphasized…. The effects of this bad evil government will rob off on all facets of our polity including sports until we decide to let go of tribal and religious sentiments….. Nigerians must take a stand against the ills in our society and hold the government responsible….. before it is too end….

If the Super Eagles had won AFCON final, Tinubu’s media propaganda team and Nairaland tigers would’ve gone wild and pushed that as an achievement of the government in a bid to bury the real issues of incompetence, corruption and looting going on within the government…. I had wished for a Super Eagles victory as Nigerians needed some kind of national inspiration in this trying times but they lost…. Just as I said in previous post before the game, Shettima’s presence at Abidjan was a liability to the team and this outcome lays credence to my earlier premonition that APC will happen to Super Eagles in AFCON final….
PoliticsRe: AFCON FINAL: Tinubu And Shettima Playing Politics With Super Eagles by Bebigiby1(op): 6:56pm On Feb 11, 2024
Personally I didn’t know prior to my post that Tinubu was not going…. My prior knowledge was based on the post I shared…. I am of the opinion that none of them should go…. Based on their wasteful antecedents…. Tinubu been the arrow head…. A Super Eagles victory doesn’t negate the terrible state that his government has plunged this country…. You will see if the Super Eagles wins tonight Tinubu’s media propaganda team will paint that as another achievement of the government in a bid to bury the real issues of incompetence, corruption and looting going on within the government…. Nigerians are not happy with the terrible state of the economy or insecurity in the country….. Tinubu and Shettima doesn’t deserve to celebrate with Super Eagles or claim any credits…. Paying the technical crew or Super Eagles is not an extraordinary gesture as it is duty of government to do so…. Yes Shettima may have already gone to Abidjan…. But in all honestly his presence there is a liability to the team….
