Nonaira1 I think u are wrong. U and Aniomafirstson. Anioma Igbos and many Igbos from Rivers are regarded as Igbos by se ppl. Ditto okonjo iweala, pat utomi and even u nonaira1 (who both of us have promoted igbo supremacy severally here). The problem is majorly Ikwere and Ika.
There was this my guy from agbor during my university days whose surname was igbo....he always insults igbos even without provocation. U will just see that he cant keep calm. He just has to always remind u that he aint igbo. Who can love someone like that?

If we all Igbos stop being damn silly and come together as one and ask for a referandum...we might just get it. We may go on to be the 1st homogenous nation in Africa...like u have in Europe

Lol.

Be there making mouth.

Are you in the states yourself?

Modified:

I just realised how hypocritical you are.

On another thread you are canvassing for PDP flagbearers at the 2019 elections.

You had Your preference in Dankwabo but made room for Markafi and Atiku.

Yet it is the same you saying Aboki rulers have ruined Nigeria.

huh
lol....the word hypocritical is abused. Aboki means an uneducates hausa man in street palance. Tell me apart from yaradua (who I think is the best Nigeria ever had) any other northern ruler with education so far? Dankwambo on the other hand is a phd holder and an accomplished accountant. Are northerners not Nigerians? I dont hate them...i just hate the uneducated ones who happen to get their masses support to run the country aground because of bigotry

so? Should they rather wait to be deported back to Nigeria so that u can find it easier to get u.s visas. Aboki rulers have turned Nigeria into a nonsense place from 1969 till date. Best thing for liberal minded southerners is to move move move...no matter the cost

Modified:
The guy below me thinks because I hate aboki, that means I hate every northerner. No! I would rather have the late Yaradua keep ruling Nigeria than have an incompetent southerner. I however know that the northern majority have refused western education in favour of religious extreemism. I also know that it is these uneducated people who backed the northern military juntas that wrecked these country. It is also these type of ppl that are backing Buhari for 2nd term

Ppl who suddenly demanded for sharia law in a secular country because a southerner was in power.

This one is probably the least popular among them even though he has been PDP chairman, a Senator and a governor. He also lost his seat to the Buhari wave in 2015 which doesn't show him as a strong candidate on his own, without PDP backing.

This one is probably the most politically powerful among them. Popular in both North and South. But he is generally seen as corrupt and the APC would have a field day telling that to all voters. He would however most likely be a powerful, decisive president. His age is also against him.

I believe that by withstanding the Buhari wave in 2015 and retaining his state for PDP, this one has shown himself to be a good and popular candidate. He also has youth going for him. However, I fear that he may be another Jonathan; indecisive.

Politics › 2019 Elections: Who Would Be Your Choice For The PDP Presidential Flag Bearer? by Bede2u(op): 4:42am On Apr 28, 2018
In about 7 months time, it will be time for the largest opposition party in Nigeria to select their presidential flag bearer in a primary that we all hope will be devoid of rancor.
PDP is a party we all love and hate equally. While they are guilty of so many things, its also important to note that the greatest progress Nigeria has made so far has been under them. Its therefore good for our democracy that this party should remain strong. Remember that political party and politicians are two different things.
We believe that these four people would be vying for the party ticket. Who, in the interest of democracy would you prefer to see emerge as the Presidential nominee for 2019? Who would you want to see test his popularity against Muhammad Buhari, and probably kick him out? Click like for your preferred candidate only.

Ps. Don't tell us that PDP is dead. That's childish. If that's your opinion on the matter, then you should be in the tribal section of politics, not here with sane people. Don't also tell us that PDP is a party of thieves because that is immature. There is no party of thieves, just thieving politicians and you can find them more currently in the ruling APC than in today's PDP

the yoruba muslim is really a problem for the south. The christian yorubas however are partly to be blamed for the influence wielded by the yoruba muslims. There are muslims in SE and SS too...but we refused to give them a political voice

i dont agree that the yorubas are the problem of nigeria. I believe hausa/fulani are the problem. The yorubas have however refused to be the solution. I will point out what i mean.
1. They could have struck an accord with ojukwu in 1966 when they opportunity presented itself to either secede as western region or to join with eastern region as one united south nigeria republic.

2. The obj led administration of 1976 to 1979 could have done more to desimate the northern influence in the nigerian polity with a southern-favoured 1979 constitution. He didnt. Instead he handed over to shehu shagari when Awolowo and zik contested the same election.

3. The yorubas from 1967 to 2007 where either head of state or vp (minus the brief period Ekwueme and Ebute Ukiwe held the post). In what way have they helped to bring Nigeria from the dregs? Even the pride of Nigeria which is lagos (which is their sphere of influence) is littered with shanties and dirt, making it one of the worst cities to live. MMI airport is filled with yorubas who make travel very difficult for the average nigerian.

I would say that the reason no tribe has ever been able to successfuly challenge the ever backward hausa/fulani tribe is because they are backed by the yorubas. That is why yorubas will tell u (and rightly so too) that Nigeria is still one only because of them.

With the amount of hydro carbon in Nigeria and without the backward hausa/fulani tribe, Nigeria's major indices should be something like this at the minimum;

GDP Nominal: $780 Billion
Population: 140 Million
Per Capita Income: $5571
Life expectancy: 68 years
HDI: 0.675

Damn the north!!!

Bolustical:
Like followers, like leaders. Just talking without thing. Empty chest beaters

I am not suprised the movers of the impeachment motion are from the notoriously chestbeating republic.

If the first two Senators (as shown in the video) were thoughful enough. They would have logically considered the following:

a) By the nature of presidential system of government, it is nearly impossible to impeach a sitting president as the procedure is cumbersome (consulting the judiciary before impeachment moves, assent by the judiciary among others). Even The Congress have not considered impeaching Trump despite the myriads of allegations hanging on his neck, because they know how difficult the process is.

b) Nigeria's president is one of the most powerful in the world going by the funds available (legally or illegally) and will stop at nothing in stopping it. He has EFCC, NPF, ICPC and others instruments of oppression at his disposal.

c) Judging by the way Senator Shehu Sanni spoke in the video, it is apparent that NORTHERNERS will never impeach their own, no matter his offence. They are not like our brothers who sell their own (Okadigbo, Wabara, Anyim and Nnamani are clear examples.).

Like Senators, like followers

so u mean because its hard to impeach a president, it should never be attempted? Ok

So u agree that ur saint Buhari is like every other dishonourable politician who would abuse the powers and funds of office? Ok

So u accept that igbos dont shield their corrupt sons like the evil northerners do? Ok

We shall keep exposing u fools and wicked bigots for what u are

If we can defeat Buhari (who is probably the most popular politician since 1999) at the polls in 2019, then we would have really started a democratic revolution in Nigeria.

Every people deserve the govt they get. If we dont have beautiful streets, good infrastructure, security etc we deserve it. Its left for us to change our lives by changing our non-performing politicians.

I support the recall of Dino melaye....I also support the defeat of PMB at the polls in 2019. That way, no politician will take the people for granted again.

The truth is that the military cannot fully fight terrorism without pockets of human right violations. Terrorist dont care about human rights or rules of engagement when they attack, they deserve no good treatment.

Human right violation is not peculiar to Nigeria military alone. The US military severally violated the rights of Iraqis, Afghans etc in their war against terrorism. Trump himself is an advocate of waterboarding as a means of torturing terrorist suspect. The west should stop pontificating over what they are guilty of.
