What I know about Cape Verde is that you can hardly see a flight from nearby countries. Too bad

Yep, PMS sells for 4.49GHS (which is $1 or N360 per litre) in Ghana but you can hardly find anyone using generators. So your fuel is for your car alone. Also their traffic etiquette is second to none.

But their consumption tax is high (17.5%) so cost of things is relatively higher.
Actually sells for 4.630 now lol that's more than a dollar.

no robberies in Ghana? u are delusional.
Respect yourself. The robberies are very low and not even high stake like you find in Nigeria. Very pretty way of stealing. You are the delusional one here.

Hello Op. I have been so some West African countries and when you talk of comparisons, I'm going to list a few things.
Overall, we have money than any other ECOWAS member and they sort of look up to us , only that we aren't exercising our influence because we can't still put our lives together.

In terms of security, Nigeria is nothing to write about ( You hardly hear of robberies in Ghana except the minor ones).

Ease of doing business is higher in Ghana and other places than in Nigeria.

Cost of living is higher. Petrol is sold for more than 300 naira per liter.

VAT is about 17.5. So that sort of make things expensive. But the peace is lasting and easy with basic amenities like water and power.

Other ECOWAS countries are more law abiding than Nigerians. I am using Ghana as an example because I live here more than any other ECOWAS countries, not including Nigeria. A Ghanaian driver obeys traffic laws and knows should stop at zebra crossing.

More stable democracy.

Employment is a no no. Most of other ecowas citizens are docile and nothing pushes them in life. They are very much contented and barely think outside the box.

They just want to be employed and earn what they can use to feed their families and nothing more.
PoliticsRe: Why Nigeria Must Kick France Out Of West Africa. by BedLam: 11:25am On Dec 08, 2017
People forget that others hate you not solely because of your country but your personality. Forget the country you come from, I've not seen any African who doesn't like me. It all boils down to who you are. Mind you, I'm talking it a larger part of Western Africa and eats Africa. If anyone hates you for your country then know to yourself that you are smarter and better than that person. They are usually uneducated and very stupid.

We call it recharge card money, among ourselves.

9jakohai:
Yeah...where do you expect govt to get money to sponsor students from? The skies

Between 2014 and 2016 we lost $100billion in potential earnings from oil when oil prices dropped.

And you expect govt to suddenly find money for students like that?

What with the low amount of money we have now (and the corruption is still there chopping it).

THing is...if we want to keep paying foreign scholarships, we must restructure our economy to be a manufacturing dependent economy. We must stop looking for oil to sell. Oil has died , and been buried.
But we can fund Buhari's medical treatment and fleet of aircraft? Please look for another excuse. How much does it really cost to fund those. Are They up to a 500k ? Tell me something esle.
EducationRe: Over Unpaid Scholarships: Hundreds Of Nigerian Students Face Deportation In UK by BedLam: 7:26am On Oct 16, 2017
This Govt no de even encourage person to go school. I don't know if we still have Minister of Education. No policy or plan regarding education. Buhari and his gang doesn't believe in education.

Money order at your own peril! Lol We don't even trust the banks .
I think a good percent of nipost should be sold as equity to private investors. That's the only way they can come back to life. Govt managing it is rubbish.

Did you know that a few years ago. We were a country without numbers. No data just guessing. How can/did we plan with that? We should learn to see our success, recognize our progress and push forward not blanket every news item as rubbish.
You didn't get my point. Move on.
BusinessRe: FIRS Generates N2trn In 7 Months by BedLam: 1:29pm On Sep 06, 2017
We sure love numbers in this country. Numbers without practical results. It's in our DNA. Who cares if you generate 4 billion dollars ? If you can't account for it or do anything meaningful with it, it's useless!
