Mamas please I need help. I saw a cute 4 in 1 baby bed. I want to get it. But an aunt said it might just be a waste. That its best to buy a baby cot/pusher. The one that comes with net. Please make una help me. First time mom wjo has never even bought any baby stuff all her life is confused. Please help.

Shopping beedam dey o. Just that yesterday was a very very stressful day for me. I received the ordered things in the morning and left home to buy the remaining things.

I ve been battling with the swing and rocker cos I asked them to assemble it which they did and left it like that,now I ve to dismantle it and pack it back because January is still a long time.

You won't believe I got all I want in a shop someone told me about. How I wish you stay in lagos, I would ve just directed you to the place. the name of the stall is "mother and baby care". Reasonable price, quality things, nice environment(had to relax on the three seater and also good customer service.


You need to see the shawls I got there? Cardigan nko? Can't wait for my baby to start to use them. Same sleep suit as the one I got on simplyinfant but her own was even cheaper so I just got one pack more.

I registered in a government hospital at 7wks and I wasn't told to come back. Infact,i saw the doctor the next day cos I was given Tuesday appointment and that day happens to be monday. But make I no lie,the midwives at the registration point dey use one kind eye look me wen it was my turn and I told her I was 7wks. But me no send dem o.

I wont deny its very cute and sofisticated however the money eh e de bite me for body oh. I will just use styke to tell him lets shop at simplyinfants o. Lol

Gone to check the 3in 1 swing and rocker. its truly sophisticated cos I read some information abt it and saw how it can be converted into 3 uses. I ve asked dem to remove the other one and add the 3in 1 to the other things I ordered( I be oloju kokoro). It's 34k on simplyinfant.com but I think it's gonna worth the price. I was surprised when they offered to deliver today. what a great deal.

I didnt want to say too much on them so it wont look like am marketing for them. . They actually seem to b d best. Though I made dem deliver all my items 2 my friend in lag n she now sent dem to me. All d items were really nice. The only issue I had with them is in my last order where they gave me a wrong color of bouncer. I called them n dey appologised n asked me 2 send it back to lag for exchange or refund. Am thinking of send it back during the week.

@ vickilafab and meme5,i ve found out simplyinfant.com is the best place. This is not a matter of marketing for them. They have almost all one needs to buy cos it's just an "infant" store and their delivery is free. As for me o,going to the market is gonna be a waste of time and their price is reasonable too. Me don start to make my order.

I ve seen the exact one I saw on jumia at 16,500, konga has it for 13,000. I immediately holla dem to cancel the order since I did the POD option. Baby things are expensive truly.

Meet with the midwives that attend to you on ANC days and request for the baby list. Although the one you will be given is just what will be what they needed in the hospital then you start to add up list people have been pasting here.

I wan share small story titled "punches"

so when I found out I was pregnant, I was super excited and as the pregnancy grew, I was looking forward to flutters and soft kicks...
Even as early as 12 weeks I was telling doc I felt kicks and asking people if it could be kicks but people were saying I was paranoid. until i started feeling actual kicks at 14 weeks

Fast forward to last week *sigh* what ive been feeling in my womb are punches not kicks... they said by now (17weeks) the babies can hear when I talk to them. so I've been begging them to take it easy with me. when I went for a scan today, one baby had her feet almost under my ribs... stretching and jumping as if there was a disco in there.

I was looking forward to kicks o... and now that I'm getting punched under the rib I'm praying for "soft, cute" kicks... not blows. everything about this pregnancy is different.. I can't wait to drop load o... plus my stomach is the size of a 36 weeks gone preggy mama.
that's the end of my story.

This got me really laughing. I wonder what they will be doing in a month time. Just be ready for a reggae jam by then . I'm enjoying my own soft kicks o but just that the kicks can last for minutes at times but I always turn it to a movie. watching and laughing seriously cos it brings lot of joy and encouragement to me
