In 2015, 2 thieves came to my house around 5:45am and took my big generator. Immediately, my uncle and i chased them and caught one. He dragged with us and recieved some beating from passerby...

Around 9am, i decided to save him from Jungle Justice since people av started gathering and beating him. We tied him and took him to SARS with the generator as evidence. I wrote a statement and he was detained. As i was about leaving the SARS said i must pay 10k before leaving or else i should leave my GEN with them. I was astonished and suprised.
I asked why the need to pay a dime, they said it is the norm and moreover we av beaten the thief and they need to treat him.
I asked if they av seen a thief who willingly submit himself for people to arrest?
I was so weak and tired of their gimmicks and later dropped the money and left.

The only league I can watch all teams playe against each other cuz every team is a potential winner unlike some leagues that provides one or two giants e.g la li gor

Same la li gor produced Sevilla who always trash Liverpool and recently trashed Man utd. Also produce Atletico madrid who has taken Chelsea and Liverpool as wives. We shouldn't even talk about the achievment of Barca and Madrid against EPL teams. And finally R.Madrid who have won 3 UCL in the last 4 yrs is also from LA LI GOR.

EPL a league Man city won with 16points 2yrs ago, Liverpool also leading with above 20points with 9 games remaining.
I think the league is weaker than Bundesliga

It is better to seek admission for years than stay years unemployed.

Let me share my personal experience with u

I wrote OAU post jamb 3times before getting admission. It was up to 3yrs coz i decided not to attend a Poly or College of edu. After graduating in 2010, my parents told me to find a business i am sure of handling. They gave me 3m to invest. I travelled to dubai for 2yrs and was able to increase the money to 5m.
Came back to Nigeria and started school business.

One need to have good and solid plan in this country. If not, it may be too hard to find ur bearing.

My younger bro finished from Convenant but wasn't given any cash since he chose a private uni. He is currently working as my bursar/ accountant pending when he get a better offer.
U can't just depend on just ur CERTIFICATE , there should be a PLAN B.

Education is not cheap it comes with a pride. The aforementioned universities are competitive with limited space. It would be foolish for someone to condemn studying at private university whereas their counterpart abroad charge similar fees. Again you would easily graduate on time in private university than the aforementioned universities.

This is Nigeria, of what benefit is spending nothing less than 5m on university education when a job isn't guaranteed ?

While studing abroad, u can get a job and still earn while studying which isn't possible in a Nigeria private uni.

I don't condemn private uni. I just feel parents should be ready to bail the student out since they could afford to spend that amount on a child's education.

U went to a private uni and still applied for 30k job. E go hard before the parent eat from their investment on such child.

Some will finish and start job hunting in Private Primary and Secondary Schools.

Its better to send ur children to fed. uni like UI, OAU, UNN, or Unilag, after graduating set him or her up with millions u would have spent in a private uni.

Cos it makes no sense spending millions to get educated only to still get unemployed.

I believe she hasn't gotten over u cos u accepted enough shits from her and probably she pushed u beyond limit.

There is a popular saying that Lagos money stays in Lagos.
If u are earning less than 200k per month in Lagos, it will be so hard to achieve anything tangible

Housing, Feeding and Transport alone will destroy the salary.

I visited an Uncle at ib recently and i saw his nepa bill of #1,400 for 3 bedroom flat. Landlords in the area were complaining and promise to return all the bills to nepa cos it used to be #1,200.
I shake my head, i stay in 2bedroom flat in Lag and nepa bring minimum of 6k monthly ontop light wey no dey.

DH went to ibadan on a business trip and he and his colleagues went to eat at one popular restaurant. He said that all they ate was equivalent to a plate of food in any local joint in Lagos and they couldn't even finish their food.


Food is that cheap there.

I was born in Ibadan but left for Lag before i clock 8. I visit Ibadan often due to family ties and many more. Food isn't a problem. Infact, when i wanted to do my wedding in 2015, all food stuffs were sent by my relatives, bought a cow there and got it killed before moving it down here.

Transportation is also cheap. The driver will reverse back to carry u, unlike Lag where u run and rush to enter bus.

I av set myself a target to move out of Lag to relax my head and mind. It will be nice to have a running investment in Lag and spending ur money in Ibadan.

I actually hate Lagos life. Too stressful and sometimes hard to break even due to the high cost of living.
I have resided in all S/W state for a minimum of 1yr.
I was in Ibadan last year and ordered a taxi, he charged me 800 for a trip u can compare with Ikorodu to Ikeja. Madam was still trying to bargain, i just smiled and gave him 1k. He was very happy.
My plan is to hustle in Lag for the next 5yrs, expand my business tentacles to Ibadan or Ogun and relocate immediately.

If u aren't careful in Lag, u will end up being a tenant at the age of 50
