Nobody has the monopoly of madness...if you do not see opportunities in the market, sell off and take a walk, rather than trying to cause panic and convince others to cause a forceful sell off of the equity market (just because your supposed savior did not win). I am of the opinion that the country will excel, if we see ourselves as stakeholders, advising ourselves to do the right thing....no having a figure head and saying without him or her we cannot excel (note, i am not discounting the importance of a good head). I have been disappointed too many times with supposed savior I voted for, to be bother by who is elected. one man cannot work magic if the people he/she is leading is flawed. How do you explain Nigerians charging 1000 naira for every 10,000 naira collected via POS....is this the fault of the president? Shouldn't we help ourselves by ensuring the money we collect from the bank is circulated, while charging our normal 100/200 naira per 10,000 collected? We are our own worst enemy and need to love ourselves more and be loyal to the motherland. Nigeria will succeed and we will continue to make money in the NSE. Feel free to JAPA if you are not happy that your savior did not win. Apologies to all if I may have derailed the thread with my rant, just needed to respond to those who want to create a panic in the system. https://www.nairaland.com/7589067/nigerian-bonds-post-huge-gains |

I have a different view on this. I believe what we want is a peaceful transition of power. As it is the election day has come and gone, with result collation ongoing.....Their is money to be made whether an Obi/Tinubu/Atiku wins. juniorrate: he should be draggin cloth with dangote/bua/otedola if it’s possible to see d future but fundamentally once apc win the presidental election, it will likely to impact the market negatively for short term |

not a fair comment in my opinion....you could just propose a solution, rather than insult him. just saying.... essentialone: The owner of Nairalander has no innovative sense. If not, by now, he or she should have learnt from WhatsApp on how to trim long write-ups, and they will just end with a link that says "Read more" or "See more". Only those interested in the jargons will click on that link.
By the way, who exactly owns this Nairalander? |

But why the long story bro.... Youngzero2: Have you ever wondered what is the better way to put your money to work – pursuing a Value Betting strategy or investing in the stock market? I certainly have and there is no easy answer to that question. There are a lot of factors you need to consider, like the capital you have at your disposal, the time you are willing to put in learning and execution, as well as the legal and tax aspect. |

Gbam!!! Easy pizzi... RabbiDoracle: Risk free return of 13 to 15%. Good one.
With N10m, buying Zenith at N20 gives you 500,000 units assuming you pay off the commission outside the N10m.
Zenith gives N3 dividend. And is bound to repeat it at 2022 YE. This will be 13.5% dividend yield if you remove withholding taxes.
And once the wind of change goes in favour of the banks, you get capital appreciation on Zenith and still pocket dividends equivalent to the risk free return you mentioned. |

Thanks comatekeke: Carry out a global search with cscs through another stockbroker with your name and variations of your name you used with your old stockbroker(First Inland Securities & Asset Mgt Limited) to buy the shares. This should find all the shares associated with your name in the Nigerian capital market including with multiple stockbrokers and registrars. |
