Saybal:To be pro at it, you will have to lose money at some point. Fine, you can learn via YouTube, A.I, word of the mouth mentoring, books or whatnot, but to really understand what strategy works for you, you will have to lose money — this is why traders have different trade pattern and secrets. I learnt the hard way trading crypto futures; and even Quants on wall Street still lose on some trade, so no one can be perfect. Okay, it sounds like, I'm blabbing now; but truth is; start with YouTube, when you get lost, ask AI for clarification, then begin to place live trade via crypto futures to test out whatever strategy works for you. As you lose money, you will learn. |
auschris:Aside the minimum requirement amount, no issues at all. Cardinal is fine. I think welzyj2 trade using cardinal stone, he should share his experience so far. |
DataAnalyst2022:Re-read again, I recommended Trove or Bamboo. Cardinal stone is best for Equity mutual funds. Meritrade isnt beginner friendly. Afrivest is notorious for constant bugs and glitches |
DataAnalyst2022:The way you will do it is simple. You will buy multiple stocks (according to my recommendation) hold them till it prints money, then exit the market. Note: Emphasis on "multiple stocks". Let's assume, I give signal to buy Zenith and GTCO stocks, you will have to be patient within a duration of atleast 3 weeks to a month to get atleast 10 to 20% of your initial capital. So while your Equity mutual fund brings in 0-3%, you picking stocks yourself brings you 6 - 20%. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLelyzjGuxrbj-ORzfwOEveV2vK0j1e3fw |
Ogborokiri:I would have recommended Cardinal stone but you need atleast 150k to enable you begin to trade, Naaah, not everyone can afford that. Another is Meritrade by Meristem, too advanced and not all that beginner friendly. I strongly recommend Trove or Bamboo. Stay away from Afrivest app if you don't want to regret trading, because you will spend more time complaining to their customer support than trading. After you join Trove or Bamboo, look for their Telegram community, they both have telegram community where customer support will quickly solve any app issues you encounter in real time. I am in those groups as well suggesting/recommending stocks and helping people out with their portfolio, both Nigeria and foreign stocks. Trove customer support is more responsive on Telegram. |

CSblackpink:Muchas Gracias Amigo |
IchKampf:If you are below 50 years old. Follow this set up: *50% MMF (Gains from here goes into buying the dip in Equity red days and other family expenses) *30% Equity mutual funds (Money growth long term for bigger projects to be projected year on year, secondly this returns will always beat returns from MMF) *15% Individual Stocks picking (Follow my YouTube channel for weekly stocks picks and make consistent gains on liquid large cap stocks, cash out and go enjoy your life with the gains or support your family, imagine making 6-9% on different stocks, patience is required too but gains will always be locked in) *5% Emergency cash (You will always need this when all your money has been invested) If you are above 50 years old: *70% MMF (proceed should go towards building for rent and earn from that) *20% Equity mutual funds (spread among best performing equity mutual fund, Cardinal stone is a must) *10% Cash If you are 60 years and above: *80% MMF (proceed should towards building for rent and earn from that) *20% Cash If you lucky to have a son or daughter who support you with money, take the money and buy strong individual stocks and dividend paying stocks, even if you pass away, your kids will continue earning from the small change they usually give you. Inform them about the investment too |
Uberchic1:Pro; *More liquiity to the market *More foreign investors participation *Volume of some penny stocks will increase as a result. *More profit on a single trading day. Con *Stock brokers will incure more cost for doing business beyond regular business hours, hence expect a little bit of increment in service charge. |
CSblackpink:You already have that confidence and plus being a calculated risk taker. I'm sure you will slay the market like slay queen hahahahahaha Have a nice one bro. |
CSblackpink:Finally, welcome to trading. Seeing you evolve from mere mutual funds investor to equity fund investor to a swing trader within a short period of time is such a big achievement. Your future self will thank you for this because you can never go broke in life again after acquiring this knowledge, you like an asset to yourself now. Samson who manages your fund at Zrosk is actually an analyst, the professional traders he hires are the ones who does the trading. You might want to rethink your career path in life and become a trader on the Quant level. Congratulations bros. |
CSblackpink:I'm doing just fine sir. Welcome back from your vacation in Australia. I'm still in the wilderness here in Nigeria. Welcome. |
LoriHamo:ASI is overheating now, which should cause panic. This is happening on the back of successful banks recapitalization which ended In March and few upstream sector oil and gas stocks which companies has been doing well, thanks to Trump and IRGC of Iran. Panic mode activated, overheating isn't a good thing, think of it like a mini bubble.

Emzedz:Yes, sign up with bamboo. That's what I use. |

He cannot say that he is better than anybody because of his profession or what not, that is arrogance and arrogance is the cousin of ignorance. This lawyer seems to be defending his reputation rather than defending Blord in court. |

He doesn't see shhittt. Human made that shiittt up. Basically, As human; God as a word or an entity is an ever receeding pocket of ignorance that gets smaller and smaller as you the human gain more knowledge. |
Yes, excessive intake if water makes you pee and when that happens, your body looses enoumous amount of sodium, now you need sodium to create a balance between magnesium and potassium. Failure to do potassium results to high blood pressure But failure to retain sodium is also harmful to the kidneys as it works overtime to remove excessive potassium. |

Care4:I just finished a T.A on this and realized, Only the price is too expensive at this time for it, however, volume is moderate (NOT HIGH) but seller will exercise a little bit of patience before position sells off. |
Kaila2008:Individual stocks is/are the real deal that makes more money because you are essentially betting it would go up then you invest into it. Viola!!!, it eventually goes up by some percent usually greater than the percentage managed fund do. For managed Funds (Equity mutual funds)— you hedging your bet on derivatives mode, meaning you not sure which stock will do well but f_ck it anyway, I will buy all good stocks to be put together in one basket. That's what managers do when they help you manage your fund, Now here is where it gets crazy — you are to pay that fund manager a fee whether you make gain or loss. Yep, that's right. So when you put all these into consideration. Your individual stock pick will always beat derivatives like equity fund but If you play the long game with derivatives, you will beat the market. In conclusion: You earn more picking individual stocks than Equity mutual funds but picking the right stock is the challenging part, if it was easy, no one would have to buy equity fund anyways. |
yok:Chief, what is the amount commission fee Vest charges, I'm considering leaving bamboo. |
Arizona86:All I can say is hopefully. |
Arizona86:Not only banking sector, consumer goods sector too. Do you remember that rally back in February? That institution bull run driven rally right — that was abnormal for a stable market like Nigeria equity space because it's tightly regulated (daily +10 gain -loss) In a normal free flowing market reality, what should have happened after February rally should been correction to reset the market because most people will have to take profit, but due to how high tightly regulated our stock market is, it's now battling to stay up and moving sluggishly trying to regain momentum instead of correcting. A correction would have triggered upward momentum quickly. Nigeria stock market is the safest in the world in my opinion. |
ogawisdom:NAHCO is overbought already. Expect the inevitable.
|
EquityM:Nice portfolio you have here. You definitely gonna smile as long as you holding for a long time. |
Creditalerts:This your last line just make me laugh fall 😂. You too much bros. |
EquityM:They are all down for a reason. The Equity space is currently unpredictable. But I just admire your appetite for taking risks. Of course, the higher the risk, the higher the reward. Me I'm just following the market with the mathematics of market calculations. |
