Oboy, what I discovered to be the problem will shock you.
Google Play Store.
The version the phone came with is the oldest version.
I got to know when I downloaded Naija whot but couldn't play it. I received a pop up message to download newer version of Google Play Store to enable me play it, which I did via Google Search.
That was when everything started working, including WhatsApp.

I'm sorry to say but it can't work. I got the Honor 8x and it is just sitting idle at home. I have been to Garrison in PH, Alaba, Ikeja, Lawanson in Lagos but none could help me. 70k wasted. Avoid any Foreign used Huawei phones for now.

Thanks bro, but it's working fine now. It doesn't register a phone number you've used in another phone previously. I used one SIM card I've never used for WhatsApp before and it's now registered just in a single attempt.

Still need assistance to get this working please.

The problem with the Zone C part of Benue State has always come from the neighbouring states of Ebonyi and Enugu which i think is always about land tussle.
