Crime / Re: How They Hack Your Details by Bejusttoall: 2:37pm On Jan 11, 2020
livebyday:
Okay Hello All

This thread was created in response to a scam post in which @ Nostradamus tagged me. My condolences to the victim but here's the reality

Investigation and tracking costs huge funds, now except you are a family members unfortunately these amounts are too negligible for any serious agency to get bothered with had it been you where scammed of very large amounts then it's a different case. Hence most victims are stuck with the NPF as the only platform for assistance. I think if I recall the EFCC only get involved when it's 5 million upwards.

Here's a few pointers to other members

1. If you get an sms from a website asking you to click or visit or register please do not click except you where in the process of setting up some sort of profile online and they sent you a code via SMS.

2. These scam sms will come in form of konga.com, davido.com, lol.com, kok.com ,
Or your package has been shipped, or an SMS from Amazon when you know you didn't make a purchase or wining codes and bet tips . Infact last week there was this syndicate who send out sms to victims with Koran verses and links to online readings , this is how smart these criminals have become!.

3. Why do they do this? Once you click the links your phone has been compromised, they will view every single sms you send or receive, they will view every single password you enter on your phone and they will read all your WhatsApp Facebook and any instant.messenger chats on your phone. Any password you enter on your phone they will get it ...hence why you hear people cry that their WhatsApp of Facebook was hacked and they frankly can't remember ever sharing details or logging in anywhere else but their phone.

4. So to be safe once you get such sms don't open them just delete them...infact there have been cases where they use this system for kidnappings and ransome withdrawals.

5. Never I repeat never share your mobile number carelessly!!

6. Becareful the websites where you enter your number for registration, if you have a second number that you don't use for financial transactions use that one.imstead.

7. Very important: the number you use for Bank transfers , please never use it in an internet enabled phone, better purchase a feature phone like Nokia torch that has no internet facility, so if by error your child clicks the sms they can't get your data except you dare connect online. Like my main banking number is in an old.school Nokia 3310 while my other numbers are in smart phones.

8. Irrespective of your os Android or Apple this hackers can get all your information, and it cannot be patched because the same system used in tracking BOKOHARAM and kidnappers is what they have gotten and now use for fraud.

9. Don't be too alarmed as just follow the safety tips I shared and you should be relatively safe

10. Also if you get repeated flashing form +235 +233 +232 or some.number in the West Indies and such please don't call back..

I hope this post helps someone .. I know the criminals won't like this but surely and slowly we closing in on you guys. grin

This maybe what is happening to my friend. These people know all what is going on with her phone and email, which has caused an issue between us thinking I'm the one leaking her info to scammers.
Why do we do this to ourselves, such brain should be diverted to productive ventures.

I love this analogy!

You are holding a cup of coffee when someone comes along and bumps into you or shakes your arm, making you spill your coffee everywhere.

Why did you spill the coffee?

"Because someone bumped into me!!!"

Wrong answer.

You spilled the coffee because there was coffee in your cup.

Had there been tea in the cup, you would have spilled tea.

*Whatever is inside the cup is what will spill out.*

Therefore, when life comes along and shakes you (which WILL happen), whatever is inside you will come out. It's easy to fake it, until you get rattled.

*So we have to ask ourselves... “what's in my cup?"*

When life gets tough, what spills over?

Joy, gratefulness, peace and humility?

Anger, bitterness, harsh words and reactions?

Life provides the cup, YOU choose how to fill it.

Let's work towards filling our cups with gratitude, forgiveness, joy, words of affirmation; and kindness, gentleness and love for others.

God bless you.

15 Thou shalt surely smite the inhabitants of that city with the edge of the sword, destroying it utterly, and all that is therein, and the cattle thereof, with the edge of the sword.

16 And thou shalt gather all the spoil of it into the midst of the street thereof, and shalt burn with fire the city, and all the spoil thereof every whit, for the Lord thy God: and it shall be an heap for ever; it shall not be built again.

17 And there shall cleave nought of the cursed thing to thine hand: that the Lord may turn from the fierceness of his anger, and shew thee mercy, and have compassion upon thee, and multiply thee, as he hath sworn unto thy fathers;

18 When thou shalt hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, to keep all his commandments which I command thee this day, to do that which is right in the eyes of the Lord thy God.

Wow...a lot was going on in that scripture passage.
Seems as if you forgot to post the rest of Deuteronomy 13:14 (which I highlighted) plus the rest of the entire scripture passage....
This was speaking about testing a "prophet"...
I appreciate your attempt to illustrate, but (with all due respect), let's try to use scripture verses appropriately wink

Got you, that is why i used that portion of the verse only, juat to justify why one need to verify a statement whether it is a lie or not.

If posting online is a part of our daily lives, then "yes" He absolutely will judge what we post.
Not only will He judge what we post, but ALSO the intent/motives behind it. It will all come into play as He judges the lives we have lived on earth.

Matthew 5:28 (KJV)

28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.

1 Samuel 16:7 (KJV)

7 But the Lord said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart

Proverbs 4:23 (KJV)

23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.

It's one thing to be struggling in the inner recesses on one's own heart, but another thing altogether to lead others astray...or into one's mess.
It's also one thing to post something honestly & sincerely (which may seem ignorant to some), and another to deliberately post stuff to cause strife.
I've had to check myself...many times in life...about the motive behind doing something.
Even here on N.L...in my past life. I've posted and wished I could erase.
I still don't always get it right.
Ask yourself why you want to post a particular thing?
Also if it's edifying or destructive?
Christians have to be sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit when online.

Collaborating what eviana wrote here, everyone shall be held responsible for whatever he/she says or write.

Matthew 12:36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.

One does not write or say something out of the blue moon. It takes the heart of such person to process what is being written or said

Proverbs 4:23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.

My story is long but I will cut short. I’m 20 years old and I have a 5 years old daughter , I’m still with her father but we are not living together. I’m still at home with my parents.

My elder sister is a banker she is engaged and her fiancé is a doctor, they were supposed to get married this February 2020. My elder sister Hates my guy a lot just because he is not educated, has no money, he drinks and Smokes but he is a good guy, he doesn’t beat or cheat on me , he gives money for our daughter upkeeps and she goes to school he is paying her school fees but sometime when he doesn’t have my sister will be paying but she will insult the hell out of me that I ruined my life by giving birth at a young age , I should have closed my legs she just says many things that really hurting me sometimes I cried and Whenever she sees my guy she will insulting him threatening to pour him hot water.

So it happened in July , our parents traveled to the village because my dad was very sick so my guy visited me at home and she came and saw him , she got angry and started raining insult at him as usual and I got angry and slapped her which lead to a very serious fight and she arrested me and my fiancé and we came out after 3 days my guy had to sign undertaken that he should not step his foot in our house again.

So he promised to deal with her in a way she will regret and I supported him, so we have decided to destroyed her relationship with her fiancé by arranging lots of boys and girls who are my guys friends to start calling her fiancé and threatening him to leave their girlfriends alone or they will kill him, so we had 7 boys and 2 girls also called him claiming that my sister is dating their husbands so he should warned her or they will do worse. Everything went according to our plans and we have succeed in destroying her relationship that her fiancé dumped her and cancelled the marriage in October.

She hasn’t been well since, she lost her job , she is totally depressed and all she does is crying and she lost so much weigh. I was so happy seeing her like that because she deserved it but I pretend like I care when I didn’t but now I just feel so bad because her condition is getting worsened.

Seeing her going to the hospital today really broke my heart and made me regretting what I and my guy did to her but I don’t know how to help her again. I wish I could talk to her and tell her everything we did and beg for her forgiveness but I’m scared because everybody in the family will hate me, they will disown me and throw me out of the house and I have nowhere else to go with my child. My guy stays with friends in a one room house.

I’m Feeling helpless

This is pure wickedness. Haba, your blood sister. Start with her fiance

I got married to my husband in 2013, we are blessed with 2kids (a boy and a girl)

In 2017, barely 2 weeks after giving birth to our son I was diagnosed with puepurium psychosis. A kind of mental illness that afflicts women that have just given birth and since it has been from one medication to another..

Now since after my diagnosis my husband has been a source of emotional, verbal and physical abuse... He blames my parents for everything as he feels "cheated " feeling that they knew all about my "sickness " before we got married and kept it from him.....

He felt I was a liability and feels he is too young to shoulder such... There was nothing my husband didn't do to frustrate me...

So around June this year I left my home for my father's house and have been there since, now since I have been there my husband hardly calls when he does he wants to speak with his children. He doesn't call my parents to ask about my well-being or that of his kids.

Sometimes I feel abandoned, now the issue is that the love I have for him is beginning to reduce, sometimes I feel like letting him go and starting all over. Other times I want to stay cos I think of my children's future.

As for the psychosis ALL the symptoms have gone as am typing this now I have a job with a small private school and planning to either proceed with my masters or start a nursing programme.

So please I need your advice. Should I let him go?
Please forgive him, and give him a second chance.

Good evening Nairalanders.

I am dying in silence embarassed embarassed

I discovered that I had pile during my secondary School days (2014). I didn't even know this has been on me for long, until I went to defecate with a friend of mine in the bush. Immediately he saw that red flesh coming out on my anus. He shouted "What is this!!". That was when I knew I had PILE.

I told my mum about this. She said she noticed something like that from the day I was given birth to. She said, she didn't keep quiet, and she asked the nurses what was in my anus. The nurses replied that, "it is normal" That it will still leave there. Now, I am in my twenties. This thing is now paining me seriously. In fact , I can't defecate easily.

Please, nurses and doctors in the house, come to my aid.

Note: I noticed that, I ejaculate within 3 to 4 mins during sex. I don't know maybe it's because of the pile?

Also, I have used and inserted some drugs (Anosoid or so, I can't really remember it spelling) recommended by a general hospital doctor yet, this thing is still stubborn. I have also visited Alagbo (herbal). In fact, The money wasted can't just be mentioned.

This night, I discovered the that its now out itself. Since all these while, it has been in, I only feel or see it while defecating.

I can't just imagine what people have been saying. like, "I wont be able to impregnate a lady" and all sorts of things like that.

Pls, help your boy.

Help for wider view .

I will appreciate all comments, remedy, solution, cure etc just to get this out of my anus.

While you visit a medical practitioner, you can try this out. Early in the morning, get fresh bitter leaves, rinse and eat raw together with onion. Do this for a week and see the difference.
Lest I forget, are you married? If no, stop premarital sex.
God will heal you.

How To Start A New Business With $0 in Your Bank Account.
=====================

By the time you finish reading this post, you'll have known how to start an online business without having a dime in your bank account.

Every year, many graduates pray for blessing of good job after school. The reality is the good jobs has been hijacked by the rich, leaving the low paying ones for the children of the poor.

Are you in this situation of looking for more income streams? Are you dreaming of starting a business but no money to kick start such dreams?

Be happy, because in this post you will learn something new today. Be calm. Give yourself just 1-2 month from now.

I'll be listing the steps. So follow me, let go.

Step 1- Have a Computer and internet connection:

This is the first step to go, we are looking into a digital business that you can create your own world from. Hence, you would need a computer and internet as the basic requirements.
This leads us to the next one...

Step 2- Identify a niche and Learn a skill from it:

Look inward, what are you good at, what can you do effectively without complaining or easily; even when spending long hours on it?

For instance, I like making research and learning new stuff, so I ventured into Copywriting and Research Writing. Hope you can relate with me.

Identify the niche you'll be going into and get trained on that skill; learn it passionately as if you're writing your final year or bar exams.. Lol.

While at it, make mistakes and re-learn from them. With time you'll become a PRO. This lead us to the next part.

Step 3- Offer your service for free to gain Clients' trust:

Now you've known your onions, you're good to sell your skill. But wait! Don't rush it. Go out there on several social media platforms, targeted groups and freelance sites. Tell your prospective client that you'll be offering them a free service just to check your job and offer you review.

Truth is, no one will pay you or give you job easily without seeing your work. After the work, ask your clients for their recommendation and review. It's best to tow this path. Believe me, it works.

Step 4- The money will start coming in:

The final part is where you'll start getting jobs from your free-serviced clients and also with their network, if your delivery is good. You'll be tired of working because the demand will start rolling in. This is my long time secret.

Thank you.

This makes sense.

so many of y'all do not know the real meaning of true LOVE.
i once dated a guy from Minnesota for 3 years (white skinned), our relationship was a transparent one at that... one time we had a huge argument which led to 2 month of not been in touch. we loved eachother irrespective of our flaws and then decided to bury the hachet and get back together... while we were together he revealed to me how he cheated and with whome (of which i never knew)...
i forgave him because he pleaded and vauge never to repeat it anymore.. it was painful to let go but i had to because i always loved him no matter what... i still do although i lost him to cancer 2017.
my point is; true love never fails and should set no bounds. forgiveness and not keeping an account of any injury should be part of the motivating factors in any outstanding relationship...
ps; forgive my typographical errors if need be.

This si the real definition of love. Love takes no account when it is offended.

Instead of allowing someone hold you to ransom, I would suggest you counter attack.

What do I mean?

First, come clean and narrate everything that happens to your parents and any important person (s) that would be disappointed if the video ever make it out.

Second, go straight to the guy's (ya BF) people (Parent, Uncle or any family members) and narrate what happened. Tell them you're being blackmailed (if truly, you didn't agreed to the sex). He doesn't have any right to threaten you or blackmailed you.

Third, the guy you had sex with in the video, reach out to him and if possible get him arrested if you truly do not agree to the sex or the recording of the sex tape.

Stop living in fears, because no matter what you do to hide, whoever has the sex tape would forever keep taking advantage of you.

On the other note, be strong and prepare for the worse situation but first use this opportunity or time to reach out to people who would be disappointed if the sex tape ever make it out.

Also be mentally strong, because the society would castigate you.

Godspeed

Nice one

Religion / Biblical Facts About Marriage by Bejusttoall: 5:46pm On Nov 24, 2019
Text : Genesis 1 : 27

Introduction
What is marriage?
It is a union. Union in set theory means to bring together to form an entity. No wonder, the scripture says that both will come together to become one.
What makes up this union called marriage? In other words, what are the elements that make up this entity? This will lead us to the definition of marriage we are using tonight for this study. Marriage can be described as the state of being lawfully united to a person of the opposite sex as husband or wife.
Let's examine the keywords in this definition.
1. Lawfully united.
To be lawfully united may differ from one area to the other depending on the culture and traditions of each location. In some cultures, before a man can be lawfully joined to his intending wife, he has to be flogged with some strokes of cane, while in another setting, it's just a meeting up of the parties involved to agree on terms and conditions. In all these cultural or traditional practices, the botton line is that as sons and daughters of God, things must be done in the confines of God's will. Lawfully united gives no room for cohabitation especially among youth, especially those in higher institutions. Anyone engaging in cohabitation should know that he/she is unlawfully united, and such should be ready to face the consequences. I once lived in a building in which two opposite sex were cohabiting. It was drama all through, apart from the time wasting in preparing meal for the guy, the guy did beat her severally. In fact my thought then was that after each beating,  the lady will use it as an escuse to escape, but no, she remained with him till they graduated. Funny enough, she couldn't report the guy to anybody or call for intervention. They both beared the consequences.
2. Opposite sex.
Obviously, this shows that the union should be between a male and a female, thus not providing any room for man to man or woman to woman.. Now it has become a norm in some climes for a man to take another man to the alter to become husband and wife, same for woma to woman, which make them to be lawfully united, fulfilling the 'lawfully united' part of the definition of marriage earlier stated. Though lawfully united, yet what they did cannot be termed marriage according to the definition above because the union is not between two opposite sex.

The Biblical facts about marriage.
1. Marriage is God's idea.
Gen 2 : 18 -24
The passage above explained to us how God initiated the first marriage.  It was in the course of performing his assigned duty that God thought it well to give Adam a wife, not just a wife, but an help meet that will complement the man. No wonder King Solomon through the Holy Spirit wrote in Proverbs 19 : 14 House and riches are the inheritance of fathers: and a prudent wife is from the LORD.
The fact that the concept of marriage was initiated  by God makes it mandatory for intending couple to involve HIM at every stage of the relationship irrespective of the various ways by which different cultures or traditions lawfully unite intending couples.

2. Marriage is based on the principled practice of love, and not on feelings.
Ephesians 5 : 21 - 33
This passage is telling us about the kind of love in a Christian home and the love of Christ for the church.
Adam, in Genesis 2 that we read earlier, when he saw Eve, his heart melted and loved her unconditionally. Brethren, this fact about marriage must be taken seriously. When marriage is based on the principled practice of feelings, what happens when the things that brought about the feelings are no more? This is why many homes today are experiencing turbulent situations even at the early stage of the marriage. Feelings deal with the shadow, while love deals with the substance.
The shadow will fade away, but the substance remains. Feelings overlook compatibility  (help meet), while love emphasizes on compliment. What brings about feelings? Mundane things such as sonorous voice, beauty, six packs, beards, cars, work position, figure 8, just to mention but a few. If anyone should go into any marriage based on all these mundane things, the probability that union will last long is slim when the wind blows. Remember that wind will surely blow.

A story was once shared about a newly wedded couple that broke up on the night of their wedding after the wife had used the bathroom, thus washing off the makeup. As seen in woman so also in man. We have heard of a man who cannot perfom as a man at all when it comes to the match between husband and wife. Maybe the woman and man above based thier marriage on facial look and six packs respectively. God will help us.
The two scenarios above couldn’t have ended in the dissolution of a union if the marriages are based on love, because love conquereth all things.
Yes, it is good to have a partner that one can be proud of or show of in the public, let's not allow feelings take the place of love in choosing our life partner., because when the chips are down, bucket won't be able to hold water if marriage based on feelings, while even a basket will retain water in a marriage based on love when the chips are down. May God help us to choose rightly base on love and not on feelings, amen.
Thanks for your time. God bless.
