The cage builder that I know is currently located in Abeokuta and concerning the net it is good for the new born rabbit kits and it is 98% safe but give the new born kits proper care by providing kindling box for them so that it will be safer and protective.thanks and sorry for the daily in reply.

I actually have 3 of 10x 18 feet constructed. But i want to start with one of them before expansion. Most fish feed are usually sold in 15Kg bags. U cant use just one 15kg bag to feed 1000 fishes to table size. For your 1000 fishes, u will need over 1 tonne of feed ( thats over 1000kg of feed) to get them to 1kg table size and above. So you are looking at about 67 bags of 15kg packaged fish feed bags.

Successful farmers do not need to ask for money before sharing info to other potential farmers. Do u think u urself will not need some more information again.
What will it cost you to share the formula to fellow snail farmers? Will it reduce ur snail farming or will it cause ur snails not to sell in d market or will it bring badluck to ur snail farm?

Nice one.... But just a suggestion, why not use old tyres to rear the snails. I think that should be more spacious for them and u wont av to physically touch them often. I have once tried this bucket method and it wasnt successful at all. Actually mine was even a very big plactic drum.

My fishes just started eating 9mm last week Saturday and am ready to sell tomorrow though I still have six bags of feed left.

Is one week of highest mm OK to give my fishes the desired weight?

Should I wait till next week before selling? Would one more week make any difference in their weight gain?

The feed 'mm' has nothing to do with weight. Most feeds have the same composition from 4mm.
NO, 1 WEEK will not add any significant weight gain. You need about 3 weeks of feeding to make it worthwhile if you need significant increase in weight.

I think dey use to sell dt topfeed at N4000 and vitafeed N4700 at Abk.

Price depends on your location and the distributor nearest to you.

I get Vital feed for N4600 and Top feed for N4300. The Top feed is not always readily available and so i make do with Vital feed.

It all started april 12 last year, then I went 2 buy broodstocks from a farm because I needed 2 hatch and all my broodstocks were not ready, so I used it the following day to hatch and it was cool (1st palava). Problem started some few day after the hatching when I started noticing massive death in the fries which I don't experience, I was lik wetin dey happen oo till all my fries go back from were dem dey come. I just locked up. Tho I had fingerlings in my remaining ponds and I was ignorant about using drugs because I don't use it at all.
So I just decided to chill for my broodstock abit since I had some fingerlings at hand, so I continued my operation as normal (2nd palava) even when it was obvious my farm was infected already. It started like film when all fingerlings started dying and the most funniest part but painful was dat I counted abt 10k pieces for a customer to pick the following dayn before the next day all my fish don go meet baba God. Omo my brain almost scattered that a.m, thought like my villa people don get me for this one was on my mind.
So all my dead fishes I gave them to my broodstock (3rd palava), then I washed my pond and vat with salt and water (4th palava). When my broodstocks were ready I started my production back with the mindset that this people can't get me, God pass dem. After my production after 3 days I noticed massive death and it continued like for over a year during which I did over 50 production (some people might not belief but that's the truth) cos I stopped counting when the thing don dey too much.
During this period I turn true born again, I start to dey go church by 6.30 even when sunday school they start 8.30, I no miss digging deep and faith clinic, me wey I like slip I no miss night vigil, me wey I no fit pray 4 long my prayers last more than an hour, d one wey fear me pass was one night I went 2 my farm 2 pray naso one bird make one noise like that omo I leave my bible run commot 4 farm *smile*
During this period it wasn't funny cos I lost a lot, spent a lot. I did new borehole cos I thought my well was the problem, pour all my food away when I got 2 know my artemia was no longer good, went to different farm and observe how they run things, etc mehn I tire till I drained all my cash and started borrowing again

My finger don dey pepper me and eyes don dey close, will post about the cause of my problem and how I was able 2 over come but e no easy oo and I belief mere reading alone most people would be able to point out my error then, tho I wasn't a novice when all this occur but when problem pass problem wey come carry problem 4 head, back and hand omo u go humble

Presently I have 53 giant ones and about 90 smaller ones most of which hatched from my farm. I just built a bigger pen which I believe can accomodate 100 big ones, but I need the right breed to stock it.

As long as the farm is yours, i will prefer concrete pond.. A collapsible pond can be costlier than constructing a concrete pond, but if you prefer the collapsible you will need two 15 by 15 collapsible pond to raise 2000 fishes.. Hope you have a good drainage in the area?

#Well if the farm is yours and you are sure you will not have a change of heart after a while maybe due to new construction work on d land or lack of interest in fish farming or other unforseen issues, then you can do your concrete ponds. I dnt really have an idea of how much it will cost to do concrete ponds but with abt 200K, you will be able to do WOODEN TARPAULIN ponds of 28ft×8ft×3.5ft dept to cater for your 2000+ fishes (depending on the water mgt system you are using). The pond doesnt have to be that long, you can do smaller ones (which i recommend) say for instance 22ft×8ft×3.5ft depth and stock according to size.

#collapsible fish ponds are really costly. The one of 40K will only take like 200 adult fishes conveniently. I have one of those.

#for those saying it will stink, dont worry about that. It wont smell and you will hardly even notice there's anything like that in the house so far the guy maintains good water mgt. This guy is at a great advantage. Very young fries need constant monitoring and since his hatchery is so near him, he will achieve a high rate of success. I also rear catfish to tablesize, but not inside the house.

Are you cockrels free range? I intend to experiment with some cockrels too but i dont know if free range farming of cockrels on a plot will be profitable.
