1. Yes, I know about IOM Ikeja and Qlife Victoria Island
2. You can get Police report from Alagbon, it's pretty straight forward, walk in and request for it or you could ask for Inspector Moshood.
3. I really don't know how long it takes these days, it really depends on workload and your school.
Mayflowa:
This is for my safekeeping. Very valuable information here. Thank you so much for taking your time to go into details
I have one or two question though:

1. Is there a particular hospital one must go for medicals or just any find and must the PA in addition with spouse and children have their medicals?
2. How do I get a sample of a police report?
3. How long does WES Evaluation process take. I have attached what my current profile is with WES.

PLACEHOLDERS

Education: BSC cert, MSC cert, ECA, IELTS (for PA & spouse)
Employment: Reference, Offer letter, Payslip, Commendation letter, Promotion letter (we had all the document so why not) For PA only
Change of Name: Marriage certificate, Affidavit, News paper publication, One and the same for PA.
POF: Summary page, Letter of consent from spouse (we used a joint account fixed deposit), Renmoney certificate, Renmoney letter of reference, Bank statement( this wasn’t necessary though as our fixed deposit had more than the required funds)
Police certificate: Inspector Moshood
Medicals: Qlife medical form (It's advisable to book before you get ITA if you are sure of getting at the next draw, this delayed our application submission)
Digital Photo: The Passport app came in handy
Client Information: We filled Schedule A upfront, Visa refusal letters

POINTS TO NOTE
Please before submitting your application READ! READ!! READ!!!. While we were waiting for ICES I spent time going through nairaland thread, searching for answers online. There was really nothing peculiar about our application but I needed to be sure we had crossed all the ts. Some of the questions I had:
1. Using renmoney as POF. I have read a good number of PPR scripts and only found one person who used it, I tried contacting the moniker but got no response. Renmoney has one clause on their certificate that says “We can choose to approve or decline a liquidation request” I was really worried about it even though they always approve all liquidation requests. If you are in these shoes, you can request for a Letter of reference that says you have access to the funds in your account anytime. I had gotten a reference letter without this statement and requested they added that line to the reference letter, my relationship officer said he wasn’t sure they could add that line to my letter. He eventually came through with the letter but this was a day after we submitted. Well turns out it is not an issue but give yourself peace of mind by getting that letter.
2. We claimed points for only one role in PA’s previous workplace even though PA had 2 roles with different NOCs at the same company. We added the second role to personal history. The letter of reference had both roles.
Ladies and gentlemen, before submitting your application, make sure you spend time gathering info, ANY DOUBT you have before submitting is VALID. I’ve seen people asking questions about doubts they had after submitting their application. Don’t be like them oo. Ask all your questions now, google as well.

->Take screenshots of your application before submitting in case of an ADR.
->Please make sure your scanned documents are clear, people get rejected for illegibility.
->Create folders for every placeholder on your laptop and drop the necessary documents, this will help you mirror your application and also help you avoid silly mistakes like uploading a document in the wrong placeholder(please don’t be lazy about this).
->Take a day or 2 to compare the information on your documents with the information you filled especially the dates*. I know somebody that found a mistake with the dates on her reference after submitting.
->After receiving documents like ECA, IELTS, POF statements, Police report etc please check check check for mistakes before leaving the location if possible.
->Keep your application simple, if you must add unnecessary documents please add to Client information section.

After submitting, pleasssseeeee leave your application to God, stop looking for wetin no loss, Let Go and Let God. I see people going back to their application to give themselves a headache asking questions they should have asked before or questions they have already asked. No follow them oo that’s why I suggested using at least 2 days to check and recheck your application, I know it’s not easy but stressing yourself over things you can’t change isn’t worth it, trust me!.

Special thanks to @topsmamen & co for answering all my questions and to the nairaland community. I wish everyone all the best in their various stagessmiley.

No, you don't have to. I travelled quite a lot post AOR and didn't inform CIC. Many others have done same.

However, if you are moving to another country, you do have to inform them of your change in address.

Hi guys,
Please if I go on a trip outside the country post-AOR do I need to inform CIC? I'm asking because of the stamps that I'll get at the airports. Do I need to raise CSE for them since I obviously couldn't submit with my application?

Your maturity date is June 13 which is quite close
I don't think it will be a problem for you.
ayotami:
Good day,
Please I need help as regards a case of rejection I saw somewhere else concerning Tbills a certain person submitted as POF which states and I quote:

'the treasury bills will be held by Nigerian International Bank Nominees Limited as Custodian on your behalf; upon maturity, proceeds will be credited into your account with us.

Please note that the bank is not obliged to purchase this security if you wish to sell it before maturity. There also exists a possible erosion of principal invested should market forces cause unfavourable fluctuations of yields and the security is sold before maturity date’

I'm concerned because I've exactly same clause on my certificate too and wouldn't want to experience same issue as I'm post-AOR.

What advice would you give in such instance in order to forestall an ADR or rejection: should I pro actively liquidate the Tbills and leave it in my account or FD.

Please see the attached.

If I'm using FD at renMoney as POF do I need to attach any bank statement?

Hi guys,
Please I have a question
If I'm using FD at renMoney as POF do I need to attach any bank statement?

I was thinking of adding the account where I made the transfer from but the account also has lump sum from my previous renmoney investment and some other transactions I really don't want to have to explain cos it's my account for online transactions even my sister uses my card so it has lump sums even though the credit and debit might be on the same day.
or
Should I add my salary account just for the purpose of showing inflows. Is it necessary?
Can I just attach my certificate and letter of reference from Renmoney?
The FD was done post ITA.
I'm asking because I see a lot of PPR scripts where they use Tbills and still add bank account even though there's nothing there although most of them did gift deed, Mine isn't, struggling with why I have to show how I earned/got all that money because the truth is it's money earned/saved over time.
Thank you

The bolded is why you must repeat the same answers in both histories. So the answer - in both sections - is 'Yes'

2. If the internship happened within the last 10 years, yes you have to list it
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 7 by bellexa22: 5:40pm On May 06, 2019
For number 2
This will overlap with undergrad studies
Topsmamen:
1. Mention your husband's travel details.
2. Yes, list it. Your personal history should have no gaps in between.

Hi guys Please I have a question
I'm little confused. While filling the form, I came across this question; "Have you, and if applicable, your family members taken any trips outside their country of origin or of residence in the last ten years." I have not taken any international trips but my husband(PA) has. Should I say no (for me) or Yes (for husband). Husband's travel details will be mentioned in his section why do I have to also mention it in my section.
2. Under personal history do I have to list my undergraduate internship, the mandatory 6 months internship we do during 2nd semester of our 3rd/4th year in the uni.

Hi @topsmamen please do you think it's a lot of headache if your NOC starts with a 0(Management occupations) Do they get scrutinized more than others.
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 7 by bellexa22: 8:49pm On Apr 20, 2019
Thank you Mamaroon
The HR separated the leadership roles so in the reference letter there's a section "Manager Admin Operations" where she listed some of the items in the JD I pasted and then another section "Leadership functions" where she listed those "Encourage, Establish etc".
So it's not like an after thought.

Mamaroon:
Just trying to find the best fit for your JD and it's just occurring to me now that in general the officers who work on the EE application files cannot possibly be experts in the 100s of occupations contained in the NOC database, so it's subjective but they probably work in a methodical way. We should make their job easier by making our JDs simple for someone who is not our field to understand, where possible.

If we look at the NOC list, the group that begins with an O are Managerial Roles....so if I was a case worker, I'd first try and determine if you are in the correct major group i.e. are you a senior or middle level manager.

Hence the works plan, direct, control, organise words in NOC group 0.

Ok so to by your specific case...your JD seems to fit 0114...would advise you remove acronyms like CUG and elaborate on words like "fleet", did you mean fleet of cars? Also as a manager you might want to indicate in the first bullet point exactly what team you manage...do you do these things yourself or do you manage the team of people that do it...the reference to management of people comes at the very end like an after thought. In my view works like encourage and establish may be considered vague.

Apologies if I have any any assumptions that are incorrect.
