Rhodsho:Nobody can give you an authoritative response on getting a positive assessment. Some of the things you can do is to read VETASSES' fact sheet about internal auditor, align your job descriptions to match the ANZSCO description of the occupation and you can do the advisory service with VETASSES before the main application. You should also note that you need to be able to get at least 85 points to have a chance at invitation for the occupation. 1 Like 1 Share |

@topacs, You may be able to appeal the decision in employment but can't appeal that of qualification. TRA has now joined VETASSES in their issues with qualification. I thought you were assessing for ICT support technician? Assessing with ACS would have been a better option than TRA. 1 Like |

DereI:Are you the medical doctor? The process for medical professionals is not as straightforward as other occupations. You need to be registered with AHPRA which can happen after you have written the qualifying exams. You can google AHPRA to read more. 2 Likes |

hammed71:It is very difficult but not impossible. If you are able to get a farm hand job, yes you can get a temporary work visa for it. However, the jobs are mostly given to backpackers and Nigeria is not among the countries that can get the working holiday visa. |

@HealthCas, First step is to read AIMS website for their description about a manager's position. If you meet that criteria, job title is not an issue but job descriptions. Your job descriptions must match that of Anzsco irrespective of the title you choose. |

Laheelow:What technologist? I can't tell you specific what she can do but if her experience fit in to a skill level 2 occupation, she can assess for it. For Engineering Australia, it is unsure if they accept 5 years experience in lieu of qualification. You can take the plunge, write a good CDR and see how it turns out. |

bligs:You are confusing international students graduate pathway for offshore applicants. He only needs 5 years work experience and 7.0 band in English to be considered by Victoria. |

@Tunero, Yes, you are eligible to apply. 60 points is the minimum you need for a state nomination. However, you can check Victoria's website for occupation specific requirements. |

Good to read. I don't agree with some things but in all contain some deep spiritual truth. The carnal man cannot understand the things of the spirit. To add to your opening posts, there is a particular religion/sect controlled by the queen of heaven, I believe it the strongest occultism in the world. I will not completely blame those still held up in occultism because they still have scales covering their eyes. @es7777, Your friend paid thousands of dollars to the migration agent, he should make him work for the money. The agent should advice him on it. Meanwhile, the email doesn't show anything other than the information conveyed. Spouse visa is the most complicated Australia visa due to the length of time it takes to be processed. |

@wumi247, 1. Canada may have a similar process with Australia but it is different. In Australia, both skills and experience are assessed together by the body responsible for your occupation. In your situation, two years experience is good for a positive assessment but you will get no point for experience. ACWA - Australian Community Workers Association is responsible for assessment of community workers, they also do the qualification assessment along with the experience. You can add both your diploma and BSc. If the experience in community work is within the last two years, you should get a positive assessment. 2. http://www.acwa.org.au/ that is the website for the body, your question will be answered there. 3. Refer to 2 above. 4. I don't understand your last question. No one will give specific time to get invitation but your occupation is nominated by states, it is less complicated than independent skill migration. Due to your age and short years of experience, you will need your husband to assess his skills too to add 5 points to the maximum points you can get to be able to have a shot at 489/491 depending on when you are ready(provided you can achieve 20 points score in English test). He can assess as an accountant with his BSC and ICAN certificate. From the information you have provided, you will not get the minimum score for invitation in the Federal Skilled Worker for Canada due to your age and no postgraduate qualification. Based on the invitation score for the last 8 months, your maximum achievable points will not be enough for invitation except you get a provincial nomination which is a tall order at the moment. |

@Egwaksuno, South Australia nominated occupational health and safety adviser. You can nominate the occupation. It is assessed by VETASSES and no CDR required. |

Laheelow:There is no Mechanical engineering technologist occupation. Available occupations are Mechanical engineering technician, Mechanical engineering draftsperson and mechanical engineering itself. If you are talking about Engineering technologist (mechanical engineering), the occupation is a skill level 1 occupation and requires a bachelor degree. However, if your experience is motor mechanic, small engine mechanic or diesel engine mechanic related, you can choose one of those and assess with TRA. Only Tasmania sponsors Mechanical engineering technician and no state sponsors the draftsperson. |

gnykelly:For a positive assessment, you must have both qualification and experience assessed to be positive. It is Canada that does qualification assessment excluding experience. In Australia, especially for VETASSES both must be positive. To answer your question, facilities manager is a skill level 2 occupation, meaning that HND will be assessed positive for it and to add, there is no specific qualification for the occupation. 1 Like |

gnykelly:Store management is different from facilities management. A facility manager manages different facilities to ensure its smooth operation. @all, Thank you. I hold no grudge against the moderator and still have no ill feelings. Whatever happened doesn't worth my time to dwell on or keep a grudge. It is the least of my worries. However, I am unsure of his own agenda because of subsequent turn of events. Digging up posts from 2017 and making erroneous judgement on the said posts shows there is a personal vendetta going on which many are oblivious of. I never expected that this will result to going back to two years posts to raise another round of accusations. This is beyond just breaking a supposed rule. As it stands, Alphadoor has been banned for the suggestion he made in 2017. Catchdwind4rmkd has also been banned. Those are the two I am aware of. There is possibility that many more have been banned. If you want to ban people who are providing strategic guidance and yet wants the thread to flourish, how counterproductive is that? I don't know how we will be able to assist people when majority of those we rely on to respond to some questions are already banned for no just cause. If you want me out of Nairaland, you can make your stand known clearly and we know where we stand. If you have a score to settle aside this flouted rule, you can also indicate. For the umpteenth time, I have done nothing wrong and I don't care if you dig out my past posts in isolation to clutch on straws about your position. Whatever post you want to dig, just ensure that you dig the posts in context with discussion prior and after it to give your audience a befitting entertainment. Irrespective of what you claim, my challenge still stands, name ONE person I collected money from on Nairaland and this challenge I also put to other users. Anybody that I have ever collected money from, can come forward with the evidence. This will be my last post on this matter moving forward. I will not dignify you with a response anymore except you bring one person from the thread that I collected money from with evidence. I will do the right thing to apologise.
