@bellong, Thank you for your response Sir, I'm very sure that I didn't claim any points, even during my skills assessment. My worry was because it came out as required docs before payment and so I could not leave it blank. I contacted DHA, and they said I should maybe write a cover letter stating the same and submit in its place. Apparently, this is a new thing now. I have employment offer letters from Nigeria, that's all, no payslips or reference. My question is, should I submit these employment letters, as well as the cover letter?, and if so, should I then mention that I am not claiming points because I don't have enough docs for proof. I'm worried about submitting too much or too little information. Such a dilemma How many points were you invited with and the breakdown? The system automatically request for documents for experience and others. You discard what is not important to you and upload what is important. Generally, you don't need supporting evidence for what you are not claiming points for. However, some CO go beyond their job descriptions requesting for work experience. If you included in the application that you worked in Nigeria, you can include the offer letter, this is not compulsory and not necessary except you are claiming points for it. |

@chi50,
If you didn't claim any work experience in the EOI, you have nothing to worry. Just discard it, it could be a system glitch.
If you made a mistake in claiming experience in the EOI, the best you can do is to withdraw the application and reapply. |

Hello Oga bellong,
What's your advice, I can't find anyone with petroleum engineering assessment or invite. Also, I saw online the invite is at 80 but I am only able to get 70 from my points.
What do you need help with?.. You can actually assess as a chemical engineer. There is strong relationship between chemical engineering and petroleum. Explore the aspect of chemical engineering in your CDR. Otherwise, assess as a petroleum engineer and hope a state will start nominating it in the next financial year. |

I believe you already contacted us prior to coming here but gave different information. So, I am skeptical about taking it further due to the initial conflicting information you provided. If you read this thread and the previous one, you will find information on how to do everything. |

edebra0406: Hello Everyone,
I am interested in migrating to Australia, i saw my profession on the MLTSSL, but on checking with the assessment bodies,i noticed they have three different bodies. Therefore i will like to know if i can use any of the bodies.
Secondly, what is the required amount one most have?
Thirdly, must i write IELTS Academic before assessment?
Thank you all. You have not provided any information to assist you. You can't hide details and expect people to perform magic in understanding your situation. What is the occupation? I guess it is accountant from the numbers of the assessing authority you listed. Yes, you can use any of the three bodies Each assessing body has her own criteria, there is no one size fits all. There's no proof of fund required. However, for some state nomination, they require proof of fund in writing but usually not in evidence. 2 Likes |

There has been a change to the requirements for psychologist. In the new method, registration is no longer compulsory for positive assessment for migration. However, to get a positive qualification assessment, you must have completed six years of study in Psychology. Meaning you must have MSc degree for the minimum. There are other requirements but with MSc, the other waters can be navigated. 2 Likes |

please O, kindly help check this visa , is it real ? and if so, can it be change to working visa when the applicant get job over there There is no enough information on the screenshot to help. The opening sentence is enough to suspect that you have been given Oluwole visa. How much did you pay the agent? You can check the visa yourself through Vevo as written on the letter. Google Vevo, put the requested information and it will show you whether it is genuine or not. 1 Like |

Okay sir
Oga bellong is it true When the word Visitor is attached to a visa, it doesn't have any working right whatsoever. Only him knows where he got his idea from. There are other temporary visa with working rights which may also have limitations but visitor's visa is definitely not one of them. 1 Like |

4mykids: No, Trying to help us all heal better...physically and emotionally.
You don't owe anybody explanation for why you want to travel with your kids. You don't need to explain yourself. If nobody answers the question you asked, you don't need to submit yourself to the court of public opinion. You will need to show proof of custody or consent from both parents before a permanent visa is granted anyway. I believe you already know that. So, no need to provide information not relevant to your request. Most do not understand the trauma caused by domestic violence and how it can permanently damage a child except the child gets therapeutic care and intervention. If your explanation is true, your decision to move away from the environment is a good step towards healing. Traumatic scars take a long time to heal but I believe you will get there. Don't forget to get them professional counseling through a child psychologist. All the best. 11 Likes |

Kabloblo: Hi everyone, @Bellong Please I need your opinion.
I currently have 75 points for my EOI. Applied for 189 and 190 for NSW because they are the only province that has my occupation in the list
I am also married with 2 kids but Hubby is into business so we cant get spouse points.
What chance do I stand to get invited for either subclass 189 or 190? I can't really tell you your chance. However, the only way to know is to be in it and wait. If you have family member living in South Australia, you may get nomination through them for 190. |

Thank you for your prompt response. I don't have a certificate. I took courses when I started but you know, most of the institutes don't issue certificates. Can I approach my catering institute to request for one and see if it can be backdated? Will that help ? To get a positive assessment, you need a recognised qualification related to your occupation. TRA is the body responsible for the occupation, they don't accept experience in lieu of qualification. If the institute is accredited by the ministry of education to provide training, you can use the certificate. However, I am not sure it will fly because you will also need transcript outlining all the courses taken. |

is it possible to send more than 1 EOI for the different visa option? I am thinking will just send in for all and pray that something comes out.
Some states specifically demand to tick only their state in the EOI for state nomination. Go through each state requirements then open different EOI for state that request to tick only them. 3 Likes |

However, you should provide enough documents to show the existence of the company and your paid work with them. Goodluck 1 Like |

Okay. Was worried because sometime last year read about someone asked by the VO to assess his work experience with EA after applying for visa. Since you are not the principal applicant, the CO will be less concerned about your work experience as it doesn't add any points to the application. |

Mobilipia: Hello house, pls what's the faith of an accountant that has 75points 189 and 80 points 190 due to this pro rata kind of thing, I'm thinking of using the student path is it wise? Or there is hope under the two listed subclasses? @bellong and our other ogas abeg ur candid opinion needed ![grin](https://www.nairaland.com/faces/grin.png) At the moment, an accountant needs at least 90 points. I don't know how those people got the crazy point. If you use the student path for accountant, you may still end up from where you started. However, if you get a school in Northern Territory or Tasmania, you have higher chance at getting nominated. |
