The instructions on TRA website are easy to understand and straightforward. What level is your city and guild's qualification?

If you follow TRA's booklet, you shouldn't have any issues.

In addition to uploading the documents, attach them to the email they sent to you and send back to them.

The requirement seems difficult to come by, In Nigeria, most motor mechanic is road side how will he prove employment evidence and 90 days for assessment outcome Any advise please?

I asked if he has experience in automobile which he can substitute for motor mechanic. The requirements are easy if he has experience in it.

His qualification meets the requirements. The experience is what should be the contention.

My addition is that you should try very hard to hit a 20point score in your English test to be able to get invitation faster. Your possible point breakdown is below.

Experience. 5
English. 10 0r 20?

Since your husband has additional programming certification and more experience, he should be the principal applicant. However, if you have enough money and requires additional points, you also can assess for 5 points.

No, he cannot get a professional engineer assessment because of his qualification. Alternative is to assess as a motor mechanic if he has experience in that field.

Write English test before assessment is dependent on your assessing body and your preference.
If it is a requirement for your assessment, you must write it first and if it is not, then it is up to you to write or not.

Please, I intend sending my application to Tasmania for nomination for both 489 and 190 but, I don't know how some of the requirements look like. I mean letter of commitment to Tasmania and evidence to show that ones occupation is available in Tasmania's job market.

I think the biggest challenge to 190 is a job offer. You have to apply for jobs first in Tasmania and if you get the job, you will attach the offer as evidence.

489 does not have such condition.

Is Tasmania the only state sponsoring your occupation?

Bold 1: Covenant is a tier 2 University according to AQF. Therefore your degree will likely be assessed to equal AQF associate degree except it is a five year course.
The implication is that Marketing specialist is a skill level 1 occupation which requires qualification assessed as equivalent to AQF Bachelor degree.

Bold 2: Does she have any recognised qualification or registered organisation training certificate for the fashion design skill? If she has, she can nominate dressmaker/Tailor occupation.

Bold 3: You can't nominate teaching because it is a regularised profession and it requires a qualification in education as the minimum. So, teaching is a no no.

Bold 4: Do you work for the Owl?

Bold 5: It is not about the competition but your qualification. Refer to point 1.

Vetasses is the assessing body for poultry farming occupation and it is likely not to assess your marketing degree as relevant. Vetasses rarely take experience in lieu of qualification. In addition, depending on the school you graduated from, your degree may not be assessed to be equivalent of Australia Bachelor degree.

You don't need to add your MSc. The Bachelor degree is enough. Most important thing is writing a convincing CDR to get a professional engineer assessment.

You have committed the same error you accused others of. It is an erroneous belief that Sydney offers the highest pay rate compared to rest of the states.

According to state governments payscale, Sydney is still behind WA and NT.

Sydney is a nice place for those who don't mind living in a unit...

Patience is what you need at this stage. Wait for the outcome of the assessment. I am not sure if anybody is in a position to give you a definite answer as it is the prerogative of NT alone and the quality of your application.

If you have supplied all required documents and satisfied most of the requirements, I believe you should get something, worst being a 489 which is better than nothing.

The partner's occupation must be from the same list as the principal applicant. Rewrite the English test or appeal your result.

I thought your Architecture was 6yrs as it is done in Ife. You graduate with MSc. It is what majority of Architecture students in Ife do.

The major issue is the degree. Do you have any other qualification?

You can do the processing. Once you get the PR, you switch visa.

When you talked about 457, you didn't put a context to it. In your case, if an employer is willing to sponsor you on 457, take it. It will give you opportunity to complete your processing while still earning income.

The issue is that there are too many applicants for the occupation. Therefore, ITA is given in order of points. Because they also have a lot of 70/75points in the pool, those get priority before lower "pointers".

457 is employer sponsored visa. A company or organisation sponsors people.

489 is a pathway to permanent which is better than 457. So the person should be patient and wait for 489 invitation.

However, I believe you know that accountants require at least 75points for a chance to get ITA quick.
