Kingbukaz:I don't have the education profile document to know which university is part of level 2 institution except for those that have been negatively assessed. That being said, do you have experience working as a welfare centre manager? Question 2: go to NT website for answer to the question. |
jelmusboy:I have not heard the news but don't think it is something that will happen soon. |
@Gbola007, You can either nominate Electrical Engineering draftsman or technician assessed by Engineering Australia and TRA respectively. Read the first few pages for the process. @Jbelieve, You can enter the country on or before the IED. You can't enter after the date. @Doyen06, I sent you a PM. |
Titiogunwa:They can't nominate you under 189. They can do it under the 186 scheme. When did you fill the EOI? |
Titiogunwa:Under which visa do they want to nominate you? |
justwise:I couldn't reply to any comment until I read on my profile that I was banned by antispam. Thanks for releasing the handle. |
inno4u:Irrespective of the occupation you choose, you will still end up with the same point. However, considering the current high points for Engineering professions, I will advice you nominate civil engineering draftsperson for faster ITA. Someone here recently received grant with the same occupation. Read the last five pages to know the person and liaise together on his job descriptions for vetasses. Goodluck |
^^^ You didn't state the field you got your qualification from. However, your chances is dependent on your occupation, the number of points you can gather and competitiveness of the occupation. |
Mykelpato:Anybody can be good with computers. Can you write codes using python or other languages? |
@Yeeshas, Congratulations... Start applying for MSc in Psychology, it is very very competitive. Submit your application to all the schools in New South Wales. The earlier, the better |
Mykelpato:What skills do you have that the employer cannot find in the country? If you can answer the question, it will be very easy for you to get a job offshore. |
Ikokodudu:Did you work as an agricultural consultant? |
Centripetal234:You must have a qualification in addition to the experience. How long has the person been doing plumbing for? Not even an apprenticeship certificate? |
pickabeau1:Boss, quite an age.. how are you and family? I believe everything is going on well. |
@babylove01, Congratulations... May you prosper in the land.. This is a September to remember. Good news started rolling in just about a week after someone said good news are "rear" on the thread. Good news are no longer "rear" but in front.. Please who is coming between now and Next month? I need help with getting some stuff down. Thanks. @Samge, I don't know the particular page, you will find answers in the thread. |
@Ikokodudu, What is the occupation and what are you doing currently? @Samge, Congratulations.. Good to know that it ended well. You nearly had high BP... ![]() |
Ikokodudu:Yes.. @Duch1020, Great news... The miraculous PTE turn around is interesting.. you should have asked for a refund for the 5th payment... ![]() Congratulations. |

I think you should get in touch with ironrose, she studied same course as you and got a positive assessment as a secondary school teacher. She should be able to put you through. |
mumzt:That means you worked in the organisation till 2011? The assessment and migration take into account experience in the last 10years which you have. If you guys can afford to, you should both do assessment and put in EOI. The other account can be closed after one of you gets an ITA. Since the PA came from the same company, I believe you can fine tune your experience... Get in touch with the valuer to put you through. For your husband, it is easy.. he should write a solid cdr and the assessment will be a piece of cake. |
@bornlegend, There is no direct occupation for a philosophy graduate on the thread. However, what work experience do you have? |
@Lalaazo, When are you leaving? |
mumzt:How many years of practice did you put in before the diversion? Your husband... Age. 15 Experience 15 English. 20 Qualification 15 Partner's point. 5? Total. 65 or 70 You.. Age - 25 Experience ? English 20 Qualification: 15 Partner's point: 5 Total:. 60 or more.. @Rooneyboy, My cups are full at the moment, I may not have the patience to go through it with you. I believe someone will offer to help. |
@All, Please who is coming down under soon? I need someone to help transport something, not drugs.. ![]() |
OLOWUAL:I am sorry, could you ask your question here, please. I don't respond to PM. Thank you. @rinzylee, Massage therapist is sponsored only by Tasmania and on special condition 489 in South Australia. Check out the 489 in Tasmania. @Kamotisha, Congratulations.. you are indeed an engineer.. ![]() Enjoy Melbourne. |
@phlunter01, Ozy is right. I didn't use a birth certificate when I applied. I only uploaded the data page of my passport as evidence of age. @Rooneyboy, You can appeal by addressing whatever they raised in the negative outcome and if you have any, provide additional documents. Yes, you can rewrite the job descriptions. |
Titiogunwa:I missed this earlier. Aircraft maintenance engineer is a skill level 3 occupation in Australia which means you need only a certificate 4 qualification which is lower than a diploma. Aircraft maintenance engineer (mechanical) is sponsored by Northern Territory and on special condition in South Australia. My advice, if it is possible to pattern your experience in aviation to a mechanical engineer, that will be better for you to claim 10 points experience. With 70/75points, you should get ITA on time as a mechanical engineer. If you don't mind applying to NT, then follow the aircraft maintenance engineer path. |
zuriel234:I am sorry, I am not an engineer. What is your Engineering field? Read the MSA booklet on how to write a CDR. Once you finish writing, I believe someone here will be more than happy to proofread for you. |
doyen06:Nothing we have is truly ours.. God alone be praised and to Him alone we are all indebted not to any man.. Centripetal234, I want to suggest that you get a job with an NGO to build experience towards a welfare centre manager. In Australia, to be a clinical psychologist, you must have studied for at least 6yrs, 4yrs of Bachelor and 2yrs of Masters. @Masonkz, Why do you have to write IELTS general if you get a good score in academic? |
@nosula Congratulations.. happy to hear that all the information were useful for you. May you prosper in the land. @Doyen06, I commend your resilience and determination. May they bring you open doors in the land.. congratulations |
@Tuteso, Your degree was assessed as equivalent to an associate degree because UNILORIN is a tier 2 University according to the AQF standard. I think you got a good result considering that ACS accept experience in lieu of qualification compared to our brother VETASSES.... What is your spouse's qualification? I am of the opinion that you can net a 20point in IELTS going by your previous result. It is my opinion and may not be relevant to you. |
trastar:ACWA is not the body assessing social worker. I am not sure what ACWA will assess his degree to be equivalent to, I would have asked he assess as a welfare centre manager. However, he can assess as a community worker, it is a level 2 occupation sponsored on 489 by SA and both 190/489 by NT. |
@Teejah80, Congratulations... NT is not bad Na... Infact, there is more money in NT than Queensland.. ![]() |

. I however, have an Australian employer who's willing to nominate me. Is it possible to influence the skill select nomination under this circumstance, considering this statement below with regards to how SkillSelect works.
