WHAT ARRANT NONESENCE
So because the Landlord is dead he won't pay his rent ?.
He should even be investigated to know if he didn't have a hand in his death.[/q. Very possible. The poor old man might be living on rent from his property and might have needed the money to take care of his health. He denied the man his rent which probably led to his death.Tenant from hell.

wow guessed u had a nice time. I'm not really planning on University residence as I didn't apply, my reliable options now is off-campus.
what do u think about Kovacs residence?
and where are the naija community in Belleville/belhar located?
I just hope as a student resident it's a safe community in belhar/Belleville during the day.
There's a redeemed church close to the UWC campus. There are lots of Nigerians there. In short, it's a Nigerian church. They were really nice to me especially as a pregnant student. They were there all the way down to the theatre where I had my baby. It was a small church then.
I don't know Kovac's residence. Bellville/Belhar is safe during the day.

@Stevetop thanks, I made couple of deals with those landlord on gumtree they mostly request for deposit of about 1000 before they can issue any piece of contract.
1. I can't make payment from naija I know what I went through paying momentum.
2. Even If, it can only be a month contract will Embassy accept it?
@famdot thanks I think I should resort to calling my department and the international office for the letter because they take ages replying to mail.
@bellville how was living at bellville?
I lived at UWC's Hector Petersen residence for about 6months. I had a great time staying there. I had to leave the hostel because my pregnancy due date was approaching. If you can afford it, I strongly recommend the university's residence. I was allocated a one-man room with steady internet access 24/7. I mean superfast internet. You would be able to access loads of research materials online as the university subscribes to international journals, if you stay in the hostel. Other pecks: easy laundry using the hostel's washing machine.
Bellville/Belhar isn't so safe. It's a coloured community with a lot of junkies. Don't move around at night. Conduct your business during the day and retire to your room as early as possible.

For grocery shopping, join a bus to Hyper Parrow (pronounced perrow). There's a big shopping mall there. With time you will get to know where the African/naija shops are.

Dear Mavrodians who are reading this post,

The reason why the smaller GHs are being offset first is to release the anticipated tension. because amongst the population in the MMM community, they are more in number. When they have GHed, with a re-boosted confidence they will PH, thereby stabilizing the system in one way.

But don't get me wrong, there are a lot of bulk PHs presently on the system to sustain the community. I know this because my PH which I made 19/12/2016 hasn't been matched till date. We haven't been called to make payment yet. Why? because the system is matching people with low PHs to pay them with low GHs. As soon as the bottleneck of orders is released, people with high PHs of 500k, 1m,2m and the likes will start being paired to make payment to high Ghers and every participant at large.

If things are not done that way, ur GHs may be split I to uncomfortable combinations of 5k,2k,10k,3k,20k and even 1k which would be clumsy. Especially for those Ghing thousands of Naira.

I appeal to each of us to ignore media nonsense and be patient, lots of people Ghing smaller amts have been paid, in a matter of few days the system will stabilize.

Goodluck and Regards
I think you're right. I GH 7k. I was matched within 24 hours and got paid on 15th. They are paying the smaller sums first.

Just amend the tenancy agreement to indicate monthly rent. Now whatever number of years of rent they can afford, i indicate monthly rent to beat LASG tenacy agreement. My tenants under the new agreement have 1 week quit notice.
A well-informed tenant won't sign that. Talking from experience. They now give the agreement to their lawyers.

Career / Re: A Practising Engineer But, So Passionate About Teaching Maths In High School. by bellville: 11:31am On Jan 14, 2017
I'm a lawyer. I enjoy teaching literature but can't leave my law job for high school teaching because of poor salary of teachers. What did I do? I started a literature blog where I provide study guide to literature students preparing for WAEC/NECO. You can do the same. [1quote author=Mbkite post=52765407]I first taught Mathematics while I was waiting for NYSC in 2010 and during my NYSC I taught some Engineering courses in the polytechnic I served. Currently, I am a practising Engineer. I won't say I don't really enjoy my job as an Engineer but, I have discovered over time that I have a keen interest in teaching Mathematics. I really wish to go back to class room to teach mathematics but you know teacher's salary is not encouraging. I love to teach mathematics and don't mind doing it for free alongside my job but, NO TIME.
I need an advise on how to go about this. I need to go back to what I love doing.
Patiently waiting for your responses.
Thanks.

lalasticlala, please I need input. Assist me.
[1quote author=Swissheart post=52781954]So sweet.....frankly speaking, nothing gives more confidence in death than seeing people who love and care about you surround you and hold your hands. It gives the confidence to face death. Those lucky people die with smiles on their faces.
you are very correct. I was told my dad called for his best friend a few hours before his death. They talked at length. He removed the drip and all other things, chatted loudly with him and laughed at some point. The discussion was mostly about their childhood days. My mum said she still could not explain where he got that strength to do all the talking at the last moment. The doctors didn't bother him. They just allowed him to continue. Then at some point his speech became unclear. He died with a smile on his face.

His friend supported us after his death. He and his wife stood by us in very difficult times. God bless them.

Surulere is not midpoint. It's far from areas like Ikeja, magodo and Ojota. Gbagada is midpoint. It's close to everywhere. It's close to the Island just like Surulere and also closer to areas like Ikeja,Oshodi, Magodo, Ojota etc.

I agree with the other points.
