raumdeuter: Like Nursing aide or janitor will ask why Neurosurgein gets paid more than him
When running the business, I will finish my regular job and resume at the business when my work colleagues were heading to happy hour. I didn't have a weekend, While my staff were home chilling with their family. My entire weekend I will be at the business doing paper work to govt, planning for the week, sorting payroll. One time I got a new place, had to renovate. I was working with the Hispanic construction guys full time, Painting oh, carrying stuff, One time the bathroom got blocked na me get "snake" from home depot to fix it. By the end of that day you cant tell the difference between me the CEO and Hector the painter. The paycheck from my regular job I was pouring into the business
So assuming the business turned around now, someone who never missed his weekend or sleep will ask why I am taking 300 times
Like I said if e easy go do am If everyone is a CEO who will run the company? Some people do not understand, they are driven by envy. The CEO's job is to make sure others continue to get paychecks, stay competitive, and adapt to the ever-changing business environment. An accountant does not influence the direction a company may take. |

raumdeuter: If its easy let everyone be a CEO and apply their own money and acumen to run the business. Thats why its America, you can start your own and give yourself 300 times the pay
I have run a business before for over 5yrs I was pouring personal funds into it, I never got anything from it but all my staff never missed a paycheck before I shut it down
If for some reason the business turned around the staff who never missed a paycheck when I was going hungry will now ask why I am getting paid 300 times of his own take home?
Let him go start his own I am sure a gateman is wondering why accountant earn significantly more than him. |

The fact that women had traditionally been barred from working at all in most societies, and couldn't inherit and get a degree or a bank account till relatively recent, adds a lot to the gap in pay for the same job, note, as no sensible person expects equal pay for different jobs.
Feminism has thankfully narrowed the gap, with more women entering STEM today than men. This is another nonsense. |

IbeOkehie: 1) I don't understand this sentence. IF you're claiming women work longer hours for less, that is wrong. In any workplace women likely work fewer hours than men.
2) Men have never been GIVEN the upper hand by any human or political bias.
Nature gave men the upper hand....bigger muscle mass for example. When it comes to IQ, averages are the same for both genders but males tend to have higher presence at the lowest and highest IQ percentile, while women have higher presence in between.
For most of human existence, muscle mass was the most prized commodity and conferred superiority and power. By the way, men with small muscles and physique were just as powerless as women back in those days.
As humanity grew richer, more jobs that needed brain power and less muscle became available and women could participate MORE in the economy and earning money.
Anyway these are elementary things that most educated people should know by now. For the record I couldn't understand much of what you wrote sha, hence I picked two that were clear enough...I think. So ignore me if I didn't get your points.
Good Luck to Nigerians. He meant they take more time to complete a task compared to men. Edit: I take back the above statement. I don't understand what he is talking about 😂 |

Gerrard59: You don finish work! I didn't see this before my earlier reply. The narrative behind gender pay gap has been thoroughly demystified. So I'm surprised to see anyone who is able to use the Internet spread the despicable lie. As far back as 2015, I knew it was was a lie. Almost ten years on, I'm reading it's a reality. If so, why are employers not deliberately employing women since they earn lower? A business aims to generate profits and labour costs is one of the highest expense any enterprise incur. So why are businesses not going all the way to employ ONLY women? Actual women o, not the LGTV mumbo-jumbo.
It's a terrible and disgusting lie that there is a gender pay gap. Also, there is nothing like equality. Humans cannot and aren't equal. Equality is a farce. The best is to promote equality of opportunities, not outcomes.
Anytime I see their sick ideology, I'm always shining my 42 when I remember that Donald Trump won, and did so resoundingly! That's why I said feminism has not relevance today. They just hate men. All they are complaining of and faux issues they generate in their head. |

[/hr] I did use failing to mean that feminism is failing. I used failing as a personality marker. Is it a bad thing that feminists are not like?
What's the correlation of that to a fight for equality? Its like asking if it's a bad thing that Nazis are not liked. |

Not everyone will like you, but based on the fact that Christianity was the major religion, his movement was a positive one, and people liked it. This is not rocket science. Magnoliaa: I'm sorry, perhaps I missed the memo...
Why is this mentioned as if it's a necessity or requirement...to be liked? And that feminists are not liked by most people, supposedly, is some sort of failing? It's failing when people start to say you are going too far, especially those who once support the movement. It's 2024, feminism is irrelevant. There is nothing they are fighting for that they have not archived at least in the United States. |

AmazonTopaz: You are so ignorant and loud mouthed. If you cannot read about the history of women's rights keep quiet and stop trying to teach me what I know.
Leave my mentions. The loudmouth here is you. History is rarely a simple narrative of women fighting against men or Europe fighting against germans. Many freedoms and rights have been achieved through a combination of struggle, advocacy, dialogue, and sometimes the willingness of those in power often men in historical contexts to share or relinquish power. So how did women take their freedom from men if men did not recognize their freedom and grant it to them? I will wait for your answer. |

TemporaryHansel: Ladyhipolita calm down. When, and how did you become so aggressive? Been seeing a lot of posts from you on this thread, and I can't help but wonder what triggered such change. The men in your life must not be living up to your expectations. These feminists are why no one likes them today. Their fight is hatred for men rather than women's rights. They are always silent about things that affect women, like the trans movement in women's bathrooms and sports. Her statement makes it look as if all men have been barriers to women's freedoms and that no men have supported or contributed to women's struggles for equality. Ignoring the fact that men, through the train of history, have been allies in feminist movements. People like Frederick Douglass, John Stuart Mill, and others have actively supported gender equality and women's rights. She acts as if freedom is something that must always be fought for and never given. Correct me if you may. Where in history women took up arms and won a battle against men for their freedom? They complained through activism, and men Gave them their wishes. That's given not taking. Societal changes often result from cooperation, negotiation, and shifts in collective values, which include contributions from both men and women. Now, she thinks that activists can function in places like Afghanistan without losing their heads. Let's see if the women in Afghanistan will pick up arms and fight for their freedom, as she is insinuating in her post. |

Magnoliaa: You seem to be viewing this matter from a subjective lens, when it is rather a structural one.
When laws that have been made for women's sex-based rights are modified to allow for gender identification, you have cases of males being put in women's prisons where they end up raping them. This is not an hypothetical argument anymore. It is happening in real time, and it is affecting real women. Girls who were supposed to come first in a sports scholarship competition with financial and career rewards are losing their spots to a male who has a biological advantage. That it affects one woman is enough of a feminist issue. And that woman doesn't have to be me before I understand the snowballing implications. Lengthy post. You guys are trying. Ije Bo and some people here, like Coco, usually subscribe to many things that are coming out from the left, and they look for excuses to believe it even if it does not make sense. These days, studies can be made to push narratives, and all sorts of journals are being accepted to push these crazy gender ideologies. During my BSc, I had a lecturer who was a man in my first year. He interacts with people and has conversations with a class that is packed with guys (STEM). This dude transitioned and started carrying handbags. His interaction with people dropped so bad, he is always alone, doing stuff alone. I don't see women around him, nor does he interact with other academic staff he used to interact with. Our brain just does not agree everything is normal. Contrast that to gay guys who always have girls around them and boys interacting with them with no issue. The main issue is how what these people want is not enough when they get it. They tend to want to expand, force everyone to their will, and make everyone look like them. See what they are saying about 2 years old in their Supreme Court arguments |

There are too many groups involved, and unfortunately, rather than cooperating and submitting to a government, these factions may resort to violence against one another. |

I don’t know about other countries but here in America, they are four times more likely to be victims instead. The only reason why I lay emphasis on USA is because they are being used a distraction by conservatives in our political system. This is another misleading nonsense. Statistic don't support claims that trans women are danger to women. This is why I say 95% of the crap you post are nonsense. Of course trans people are not threat to anyone for being trans. I was merely pointing out how you were doing that lazy thing incels do. Where every woman they come across is “emotional”. Instead of admitting they don’t have the bandwidth to adequately respond.
Can you show me how many of your fellow guys you’ve called emotional even when you strongly disagree with them? I won’t hold my breath because there are none.
Your immediate thought to respond to a post backed by facts from reputable research organizations is to dismiss it as emotional. You’re either very severely incapable of processing the conversation you’ve embroiled yourself in or worse intellectually dishonest.

There’s a way to get reliable data. 1) See if the sample used in the study is big enough to be a true presentation of the population being studied. How was the sample selected? Is the study peer reviewed? If I want to quote a website or blog page on here, I read to the bottom of their page to see how they get their information. Statistics is a REQUIRED course in every reputable undergraduate program. And it teaches you how to sift real information from sound bites.
Thank you so much! I am so glad you’re bringing this up. Do you know elevated CO2 levels AKA the green house effect is the main driver of climate change? I’m surprised you acknowledge that CO2 is rising to the level of existential threat but you support Trump who shits on climate scientists and calls climate change a hoax.
Which is it Basilico? Is climate change real or not? Will it only get real when Trump finally acknowledges it? He pulled us out of the Paris climate accord that was formed to tackle climate change. He calls climate restoration actions part of woke mind virus because it threatens his environmentally toxic billionaire buddies. You guys have to know what you support before lending all your voice and effort to it.
in other words, scientific evidence is no longer trustworthy. And there ladies and gentlemen is how fascism works. Only the one true leader (Trump) knows the truth. If it doesn’t support something he says, then it can’t be true.
You guys don’t care about women. If you did, Trump wouldn’t be your choice. Trans women in prisons and in sports might be a minute 0.0000001 of the general population but you harp on it because it’s a talking point for you. It’s not an issue of actual concern about the safety of women for you. If you were concerned, you’d be talking about the fact that just this year alone over 460 thousand women have been sexually abused in the USA alone (RAINN.org).
You cannot scare a reasonable woman into being afraid of trans women when in real life the people we are afraid of are men who don’t take no for an answer. I might feel bamboozled, intrigued or confused when I see a trans woman in real life, but one thing I’ll never be is afraid. You are gonna have to do better by showing us cold hard facts that corroborate how much more trans women are a danger to us than men already are. When men love and want to protect us, your actions will show it. Words are not enough. And so far y’all’s actions haven’t been taken in support of women’s wellbeing.
And in the same vein, you don’t actually care about children. You’re concerned about an impossible hypothetical situation of someone changing their age to molest children but the real life cases of actual child sexual assault cases don’t get your attention. If anything, you support the men who have credible cases of child sexual assault cases against them. You were in support of Matt Gaetz a few pages back. Pls don’t play with my intelligence. This your emotional rant is laughable. The only time your side care about women is when they want to use them to take down a republican with a rape allegation or whenever they want to win election with abortion. Ibime: Na Shareholders still challenge the compensation, make we dey watch Yeah, a fringe group of shareholders challenged it but see what the judge's train of thought Musk had too many friends on the board who also became wealthy by hitching their wagons to the Tesla star. She also contended that the shareholders who supported the compensation package were too ignorant for their votes to count. In June, to address the judge’s complaints, the board and shareholders overwhelmingly voted to reinstate the plan. (This time, 72% of shareholders approved of the compensation package.) The fact that the shareholders re-affirmed the plan should have ended that matter. According to the judge, it is morally wrong for someone to make that much money, never mind that his drive and creativity increased the company’s value (and the shareholder’s wealth) by 2,300%. The same judge does not have issues awarding the lawyers almost 400million that musk has to pay them for the case. This is nothing but an activist judge abusing their power.
