ObaIgwe1: Why are you showing me a news from 2020 to respond to current realities?
Because we just didn't come into existence at this very moment. There are events that have led up to today. all of which are interconnected
What happened to all the two state solution offers before things got this severe?
The % of people who supported it from 10 years ago has dropped significantly in both Israel and Palestine. It's because people are tired, they build hatred each time there is a new unrest, they lose hope in a peaceful resolution. it's on both sides.
Like I said, Palestinians were allowed into Israel from Gaza, but the Gazans are thirsty for blood instead of peace, and things have significantly gotten worse for them.
Who will force Palestinians and Hamas to accept a two-state solution? They chant that all of Palestine will be free. Do you know they refer to Tel Aviv and all of Israel as occupied Palestine?
If they had embraced peace and were still getting work permits to enter Israel to work, take medical treatment, and all that, we would have had a two state solution by now.
Instead, they saw it as an opportunity to wear a bomb vest and blow up people, forcing Israel to build a wall.
Now those Arabs4Trump that voted for Trump because they were upset with Biden/Kamala can now celebrate another 'Trump's win'.
My late Grandmom will call their likes 'Dundee United'.
Palestinians reject 2 two-state solution.
Are you or France going to force Palestinians and Israel to accept it? Before the conflict went to this stage, there were multiple attempts at a two-state solution, and Palestinians rejected all of them.
LordAdam16: English is not hard. Ibime is correct.
Starmer weaseled out with a conditional recognition.
-Lord
Ibime is not correct.
If Israel does not agree to a ceasefire, Palestine will be recognized If Israel agrees to a ceasefire, Palestine will not be recognized We will recognize the state of Palestine... unless the Israeli government takes substantive steps...
If Hamas agrees to a ceasefire and disarms, will Palestine be recognized?
Does that make sense?
the statement demands that Hamas disarm, release hostages, and accept no role in Gaza’s governance but not explicitly tie these actions to the recognition decision, unlike Israel’s conditions.
Ibime: Go and watch his statement again, don't take someone else's interpretation
He was clear no Hamas in Government and a release of all hostages and Palestine will be recognised
A good way to put pressure on both sides. Trump will soon follow him up, they are acting same script
On the 7th of October 2023, Hamas perpetrated the worst massacre in Israel's history. Every day since then, the horror has continued. The hostages are still being held today. The Palestinian people have endured terrible suffering. Now in Gaza, because of a catastrophic failure of aid, we see starving babies, children too weak to stand, images that will stay with us for a lifetime. The suffering must end. Yesterday I discussed this with President Trump and we're mounting a major effort to get humanitarian supplies back in by air and UK aid has been air dropped into Gaza today and crucially by land.
We need to see at least 500 trucks entering Gaza every day. But ultimately the only way to bring this humanitarian crisis to an end is through a long-term settlement. So we are supporting the US, Egyptian and Qatari efforts to secure a vital ceasefire.
That ceasefire must be sustainable and it must lead to a wider peace plan which we're developing with our international partners. This plan will deliver security and proper governance in Gaza and pave the way for negotiations on a two-state solution. Our goal remains a safe and secure Israel alongside a viable and sovereign Palestinian state. But right now, that goal is under pressure like never before. I've always said that we will recognize a Palestinian state as a contribution to a proper peace process at the moment of maximum impact for the two-state solution. With that solution now under threat, this is the moment to act. So today, as part of this process towards peace, I can confirm the UK will recognize the state of Palestine by the United Nations General Assembly in September unless the Israeli government takes substantive steps to end the appalling situation in Gaza, agree to a ceasefire, and commit to a long-term sustainable peace, reviving the prospect of a two-state solution. And this includes allowing the UN to restart the supply of aid and making clear that there will be no annexations in the West Bank. Meanwhile, our message to the terrorists of Hamas is unchanged and unequivocal. They must immediately release all of the hostages, sign up to a ceasefire, disarm, and accept that they will play no part in the government of Gaza. and we'll make an assessment in September on how far the parties have met these steps. But no one should have a veto over our decision.
There is no stated consequence for Hamas’s noncompliance. You should watch the video. Also, two things can be true at once.
Israel does not ceasefire / aid access / peace steps UK will recognize Palestine
Recognition of Palestine is tied to a peace process requiring both parties’ cooperation (ceasefire, governance reforms, two-state solution progress).
Recognition will proceed if Israel fails to meet conditions (ceasefire, aid, no annexations), but no equivalent condition is applied to Hamas’s actions (disarmament, hostage release).
Contradiction: If a Palestinian state is recognized despite Hamas’s refusal to disarm or release hostages, the UK implicitly accepts a state potentially governed by a group it deems unacceptable (Hamas), contradicting the stated goal of a "viable" Palestinian state aligned with peace and proper governance. Conversely, if recognition hinges only on Israel’s actions, the policy fails to hold both sides accountable, undermining the claim that recognition supports a balanced peace process.
Hamas to release hostages and play no part in Government by September as well
If they don't do their part, no recognition
He has covered UK back and put the responsibility back on them
How is it the right thing?
*acknowledges terror bad* *blames Israel for humanitarian crisis that is actually terrorists fault* *makes demands on Israel with specific conditions* *makes demands on Hamas without specific conditions*
Hamas: “We refuse to enter a ceasefire!”
Keir Starmer: “If Israel does not agree to a ceasefire, we will give Hamas a state.”
So what will happen when Hamas does not lay down their arms? September is just around the corner. Will. He still recognize the state of Palestine? That man is a bee ish
Israel must agree to a ceasefire or we will recognize Palestine come this September. We will not recognize the state of Palestine if Israel agrees to a ceasefire.
Hamas to disarm? 🤣😂🤣😂🤣
Ibime, see prime minister na. Hahahaha
Israel ceasefire, then hamas disarm all buy just words. Lmao

“Trump was aware of what was going on in Epstein's house for a very long time … and … he then used that against Epstein,” Wolff said.
Akanoaaa: Read again. "Relationship wey never enter 24". How will someone who is shameful be asking someone you just started dating not up to 24 hours to buy you food? No shame whatsoever.
Before you date someone, you spend time going out, talking, hanging out, get to know each other. This takes weeks to months.
If during that process you don't feel that you have bond enough where you can share what you have with each other, then your motives should be questioned.
See the quote
The man identified as Daniel shared what transpired between him and the Nigerian lady he was dating.
He shared a video recording of the WhatsApp conversation he had with his girlfriend.
How can you call someone your girlfriend and you feel offended that the ask you to order food for them? Again, it cost less than £20
Mckandre: oga, your has married her, their's difference. Relationship and marriage is different, investing overly in a relationship is detrimental to a man than it is for a woman. I pray u will advise your son to do the same to every girl he's in a tender relationship with.
You don't get it. Before a woman agrees to date a man, they should both have gone through knowing each other and that involves being there for each other.
Unless you want to tell me they skipped the knowing each other part and just go into a relationship the day they said hi to each other.
If you are in a relationship with someone like he claimed, you should not run to the internet and start crying because your girlfriend ask for something that cost less than £15
MrMcJay: This is either satire or the opposite of wisdom.
Food is not expensive. If he truly likes her or care for her he would have spent £10 to buy her something. That's not asking for too much. Instead he is complaining online.
nnamdi640: That is how she will start demanding, thank God the guy realised it on time.
My friend is married to a Chinese American woman. When we go out together, he usually asks her if she needs anything so he can buy it for her on the way back to their place. If she needs something, she calls him to ask. Their relationship has been established; they are not just starting out. She isn’t asking him to buy her an expensive phone or a car. it's just for him order a pizza for around £10 or less.
This expense isn’t going to break his bank at all. He should be able to do these little things for her, and she should be able to reciprocate as well.
