In the time frame that you mentioned most people if any will not reach that, that has been my experience with internet marketing and online research since 1997. Its not an assumption its based on years of experience, as to what works and how long people need to be doing a online business to yield results. I did not say people cannot make that kind of money. emmanuelsone: |

If that is true then I am very happy for you - most people wont reach that point because they are sceptical about making money online and they don't won' t to invest time (or to a lesser extent money) into a something that could benefit them for years to come. Its a shame. Your website doesn't load |
Its not an attack I am just curious, these things people will need to know, no offense pls |
There are opportunities where you can work from home and they give you all the training and support you will need to help you become a expert online business person - for sure. These are legitimate long standing programs that have been around for almost 2 decades. You choose the time you want to work so after you have finished the rest of the day is yours. you are technically self employed. You can have a day job (if you want) while you grow your home business. Its a very rewarding way to make a living, people are very helpful and supportige. there are 1.7 million members from 203 countries around the world Just decide to invest time daily to make it grow and you will repeat the rewards. I don't make outlandish claims - you are as good as the effort you put in - but these programs have been making people residual income for over 17 years. Here's one. See my forum post signature click on the link read right down to the bottom - then tell me if you wont further help. In programs like this one the only people who fail are those who don't take part. It is free to join and there are never any compulsory fees If you need any more info or help my email is on my profile page ![]() Best of luck Ben Ajose |
So its not really a job opportunity is a self employment work from home business. What is the organization you are fronting has it been around for more than 5 years? How many members? |

Olorun mi! This is the kind of internet money making advice that is being shared in this thread?! |
In America: a programmer good programmer can make: 127,000 per annum web developer can make 68.500 per annum Freelance PHP coders can, if they know their stuff make more than $1500 per month; I have known coders to be able to do that in a week - if they know their stuff. But of course how much you make is effected by many variables, your skillset, what the job is about, your portfolio, how you market yourself etc etc etc. And remember PHP is a server side scripting language not one of the full power house programming languages like C++, Java etc Ben Ajose |
I agree that learning is crucial to online growth, if people go into online ventures but are afraid to read and learn - they won't get very far. We must commit to life long learning skillmyman: |

My brother the world is our oyster. Why can foreign companies and business come to Nigeria on and offline make huge money from us, and we cannot do the same. That is a lopsided arrangement. If you feel we can offer a top quality services to people (or you are willing to train), I don't see why Nigerians cannot benefit from the world wide web in its entirety. There is 2 main areas to consider in my humble opinion: 1. Continuous training and upgrading of your skills and your businesses abilities 2. Be obsessed with top notch customer satisfaction Since this is programming and we know that programming is intrinsically tied to the internet, we defeat our selves by just focusing on one geographic location when we can focus on a customer base of almost 3.5 billion people. If you focus on building a good reputation online mainly by doing great jobs and not taking on 'dog projects' that have no real market value. You will be perceived as a go to man by foreign and Nigerian clients. JackOfAllTrades: |
Those aren't ways to earn money on the net they are just pipe dreams even if you do make some money here and there it will not last. The key is to change focus - think like an online business person. if you don't take your online business objectives seriously you wont make a consistent income or any income for that matter. That's one of the many reasons why most people on the net don't make money - work shy sorry to say, hope I have not offended anyone. footballbettor: |
Widen your reach, think whole of the internet, and the exchange rate makes working outside for people outside Nigeria more lucrative. If you are a programmer with ability and creativity you can canvass people abroad. USA or Europe. Obviously the name of the game is customer services plus a decent portfolio. If you don't believe that kind of money is possible go to sites like Guru.com and freelancer.com speak to some of the programmers who are canvassing for clients their and people who are looking for programmers to handle projects for them then get back to me. Remember this is freelance not a monthly salary paying job. each client you receive will be different, you are self employed. Just have a look around the net to see what I am talking about. Then if you doubt you have what it takes to make that kind of money, simply upgrade your skills with a pro online course. The money you spend will be well worth the investment if you are a programmer at heart and the certificate providers are reputable and accredited. JackOfAllTrades: |
Fiverr don't except any other payment option other than PayPal Tell me what were you selling/promoting? Fiverr's ok but I know programs that can make you vastly more than that and their residual income earners too ![]() Many Nigerians don't wont to work a little to see huge gains so when you put these offers to them, they smile, humour you and then walk off! Everybody is looking for easy quick money with no work |
Hi Kangol99 Your posted list is an umbrella to so many other topics below it, but here are some others... Blogging and blog commenting Podcasting Domain flipping Web hosting Selling websites Drop shipping Radio hosting (selling advertising space) Article writing (for yourself and for others - if you get good you can charge up to $35+ per article) Info products (your own) Traffic services (helping people get lots of visitors to their sites) Traffic exchanges - work traffic exchanges and get residual income when people join your down line time PTC -Pay To Click advertising (sites pay you to view ads and pay you for it- requires hustle) Online coaching and mentoring - most know your stuff Copy writing - if you learn how to do this properly I swear you will never go broke! graphic design work Create your own forum - labour intensive but rewarding if you find the right products to match the niche you are in Auctions - one of the easiest to start as a newbie (everybody is familiar with EBay right?) Online translator - you could also ad your own bit by teaching people who signup about the culture etc. Create Videos especially training videos for YouTube There are truck loads more but those are just some off the top of my head The key is to find one that you are truly passionate about and that there is a real market need for then continuously work to improve yourself and your service to your customers - in other words treat it like a long term business. If you treat it like a hobby you will get hobby money. ![]() Ben Ajose |
A freelance programmer working directly from the internet net can earn several times more than that, especially if he has experience and ability. It is not uncommon to come across a programmer who can charge $15,000+ per project or more - but like I said you need to know your stuff to be able to command such money. pcguru1: |
Need to let people know what's it all about before they subscribe, many programs on the net are free doesn't mean everybody wants to participate though and it doesn't mean its viable. Using one of those suss cloaking links in internet marketing does not aid trust in what your offering What are the signups selling or promoting? Has the company been around for more than 5 years? Ben |
Hi MrAkias Judging by the pricing that excludes over 90% of the population in Nigeria Tell me does this battery also come with an inverter? What the world needs is affordable alternative energy not batteries only the elite can afford. Even many Americans would cringe at that price let alone us here in Nigeria. This battery isn't going to solve too many problems but I bet deep down the people who created it are aware of that fact and want it that way. Decades after the introduction of solar energy why is it still not affordable? Ben |
Hi nkemdirim104 Ben1975 here Can you drop me your email and contact phone number? These are mine: 08 134 966 599 residual.income.for.all.2004@gmail.com Everybody have a wonderful and productive day ![]() Ben Ajose |
There are programs that honest people who are not work shy, can join for free online. If they can manage to get onto Nairaland they can get onto these programs too. You just need to look in the right places. What they give up in investment though they must exchange for effort But there are out there, its ridiculous that people should be in such a state. More Nigerians need to become entrepreneurial, but some just don't want to put in the time to learn. You can join programs that will allow you to earn why you learn and many are free! And I mean long standing reputable ones. But too many people jus won chop free money! No food for lazy man Ben Ajose 9niceguy: |
Hi fqhanni What is the blog for? Do you already have an established business or are you looking to be an affiliate partner with a reputable company, or both? Who is going to produce the content and are they going to do it regularly, continuously updated content is very important for the success of your blog. You can of course if you want just do it yourself instead, its not that difficult, designate a member of your staff (if you have any) to take care of it. Go to WordPress dot com get hosting for a year $18, pick a responsive theme the resonates well with our target audience, that may cost you a few extra pennies but not much. Ben Ajose |
