To win the presidency, not only a simple majority is required but 25% of the votes in at least 24 states and the FCT.
*In the 7 states of the NW, Obi may only get that in Kaduna State. The remaining 6 are out of his reach.
*In the NE, he may only get that in Taraba, 5 definitely out of his reach.
*In the NC, he could get that in Benue,
Nasarawa and Plateau. Kwara, Kogi and Niger out of his reach.
*In the SW, he could get Lagos and perhaps Oyo. The remaining 4 no way.
*SE and SS for him.
Still, Borno and Yobe alone could cancel out the SE votes.
You may happily quote Soludo after the winner is declared by Prof. Yakubu in five week's time.

Logistically, INEC must prepare for election runoff, it does that as a default, and not because of present situation with the leading candidates.

Tinubu is not a lightweight politician, he has experience and knowledge in what he would need to secure the mandatory requirements to win in the first run and avoid a runoff few days later. Oga shift one side with your talk. Everytime Tinubu is experienced meanwhile his working very hard because what he anticipated is not what his seeing

Political analysts see him as the most favored to win. This projection is shifting the landscape as we speak. SDP already announced they will enter alliance with APC. NNPP made statement in Chatham they are looking for alliance that will uplift their value. G5 is delaying announcement but they already hinted to go with APC.

Certain name-recognition politicians will soon begin to shift and publicly declare for APC. It is a rollcall, happens every four years for these political pan handlers. They are influencers, where they go a multitude fans go with them.

The structure is working in favor of tinubu, then popularity is also working in his favor. Forget run off, he will beat Atiku in North.

Peter obi will only meet the 25% in Lagos but loose woefully in other western States...

Peter obi will lose BAYELSA and head Abit above others in other south south states...

Peter obi will get the required 25 % votes in 12 state of the southern regions... And 5 states in the northern regions most especially North Central...

If u add all these together dey are not upto the the required votes demanded by electoral law...

The law Said u must have 25% in 24 states of the federation... And what I counted up there are not more than 17 states so pls obidient explain how obi is going to win the coming election....

On ATIKU...

ATIKU will get the 25% required votes from 15 northern states...

4 in South South states...

2 in Southwest states and if u add dis together it is not upto the required law VOTES....total 21 states

Tinubu will get the required 25% votes in all 19 northern states base on the APC structures..

3 in South South states

And 6 in South West states ..if u add it to gether u will realize he has already got 28 states that's above the required law votes demanded by electoral law...

ELections are not won by popular votes alone... if u like score 15 million popular votes.. and the other candidate score 12 millions and meetup with the 25% in 24 states of the federation.... The candidate with 12 millions votes will be declare winner...
