other gurus, abeg make una contribute on top my matter o.

God bless you Worry359
As it stands you really can't show considerable ties to the UK neither to Nigeria. I really don't wanna burst your bubble but your chances are below average.

The Situation posed makes you seem like a FLIGHT RISK!

Thanks All for your responses. This is my real situation: I have a wife and Three Children. The last is just 3months old. By September we plan going for a Family vaction, since the children will be on holiday by then.

My Company acc is fat.
My personal account is also fat. I have up to 7m bal.

Should I use the personal account( does not show all money transfer from my company to my personal account, because some clients pay directly to my personal acc.)

or

should I use the company account

or should I use both?

Please friends guide me well. I want to know the documents to get ready.

can we put interview ds month not withstanding that we plan going in august?
Put any account as long as it's your money and you can prove that and defend it.... You can apply anytime and go anytime as long as it's vacation.

I was not pregnant. Why i mentioned student visa is because i inteded going for masters, i wanted to get there and change my status. That was my plan for renewing the b2 but since i didnt get it, i am asking if i can do F1 application here, hence my question for the student visa.
From fry pan to fire.... Sorry to say, I just think you naturally have a crude mind, always wanting to reinvent the wheel.
After using a B1/B2 Visa to give birth without notifying the embassy, you wanna use same visa to study!

Acts like this is why so many applicant are prejudiced and denied... Anyway, you already got what you bargained for.

Hello,

My mother filed an immigrant petition for me which was approved in 2011, however due to the time lapse and my non-interest in continuing the process as i have commenced a career (I have over 5 years work experience) and will start a family soon here in Nigeria, I have written a request to the NVC for the case to be withdrawn.

I have been to France, Spain, Italy and Germany, now, my fiance and I, intend to go to the USA (Hawaii) for our honeymoon in August (we will get married in July), he has a valid B1/B2 visa, but I don't. My application for a tourist visa in 2014 was declined, I intend to apply again as soon as i have a confirmation that the immigrant petition has been withdrawn. I have no intention of settling in the USA as i will proceed for my M.Sc. in the UK in September. Would i still seem a flight risk to the Interviewing officer?
As soon as you have the immigrant petition withdrawn, be done with the marriage also by this you've cleared 2 major obstacle, then you can give it a try.

I did all, i took my receipts along with me, but she said i shouldnt show her any documents.

.
Your document was irrelevant to them cos they've done their research on your case even before you showed up....
They know If you payed or not and how much you payed.

In fact the embassy helped you to save your money, they could have waited till you showed up at a POE after flying hours and paying huge ticket fee and have you returned back!

and i still believe there's still more stuff you aren't saying like LadyG opined.

Hello house, i really need the guru's in the house to advice pls. My B2 visa was cancelled last year because i went to give birth in 2014 and i didnt mention it in my application that i will be going to do that, i was invited for interview when i reapplied and the vo asked me during interview that if giving birth was my intention when i applied for the previous visa; i said no. So she got angry and said i lied, then stamped cancelled without prejudice on my two expired visas. prejudice. How do i get a visa again to the u.s. can i try student visa and i wont get denied? Please Lady G and others assist in any thing that i can do to get my access back.
Need not apply for anything yet cos they have all your record even if you go for diplomatic visa (Ur mata dey cooler)....
Just try contact them to know your status. Ask if you're banned? if yes, try to know if it's a life ban or the years involved.

My question is this @all.this same brother applied in 2012 with his wife and daughter all of them with virgin passports ,he said the VO in Lagos then asked him if he applied for visa lottery recently and he answered no but that the VO told him he applied in the year 2009.so he said he replied that he doesn't know 2009 is recent in year 2012.I hope the first Lagos VO that interviewed them then has not noted on his name that he lied?pls help me with this.thanks everyone.happy new month to us all.
Well, it's probably in his note that he lied... but i just think he din't just qualify as at when he was denied.

Spotted nothing wrong with your application and transcript...

BUT.... The VO probably may have spotted something
- You are a house wife (No Job) without a kid yet (No strong family tie), Nothing really ties you to ur hubby as such besides the marriage (Doesn't mean others don't get it thus, but this could have worked against you) but you can always try again...

FrontPageLawyer:
Don't you think the visa officer was referring to getting paid in the US for the job which is prohibited under B1/B2 category.

I just think it has something to do with the visa category. It is illegal to shoot a film in the US with a B1/B2 visa, but don't know about music video.
Absolutely right @FrontPageLawyer.... He should have applied for the I-Visa (for media & Journalist)
Media visas are for "representatives of the foreign media," including members of the press, radio, film or print industries, whose activities are essential to the foreign media function, such as reporters, film crews, editors and persons in similar occupations, traveling to the United States to engage in their profession.

And if you already have a B1/B2 visa you need a permit....

WHY?
* Is this a commercial shoot?
* Will your filming disturb traffic or pedestrians?
* Will you need to use tripods, dollys, wires, a generator or other equipment on sidewalks or streets?
* Are you using the public space in a special/different way than it is intended?

If you answer yes to ANY of these questions, you likely need a permit.

Hello all,
Please i need a little clarification on USA invite, i have a friend who sent me an invitation letter as at 2nd Feb 2016 but due to some reason i am yet to file in my application, i will be filling in my application on or before end of April will it affect my visa as the invitation is dated 2nd Feb 2016 or is it adviseable i request another?

Just wise and all please i need your advice on this matter.

Thanks all and you guys are doing a good job helping us here.................
GQ
The embassy don't care about your invite(s)... trust me they really don't believe in invites at the US consulate.
Somehow i guess this position invalidates your date-fears. even when they ask to see it they do so with acquiesce and for other reasons unknown to you.

FrontPageLawyer:
The US consular officers don't have time for all these inconsequential tales. The interview is less than 5mins. You're attending your mother's birthday is okay.

For your Job description, the "big farm" is unnecessary. You have a farm is better, then include the rest and omit the machine you intend to buy. If you ever mention buying a machine in the US, then that's the end of the interview. Don't ask me why because I also don't know why they frown so much at it.

In case you don't have any travel history, your chances are slim regardless of your "big farm" it's a known fact, but visa officers will never give you any reason for a visa rejection, but maybe a clue.

My first visa interview was a rejection, but I got a BIG clue from the officer. The last question was "why is your wife not travelling with you" told the young lady, wiffy will be VERY busy during the period I chose to travel, she smiled and gave me a red card. That was how I got my own clue, went back to the drawing board, carried my whole team along and that was it.

So getting a US visa isn't a rocket science. You have to intelligently do your calculations.
Speaks volume!

Exact same thought @the bolded from my end too. From whence cometh this notion? Just as family holiday has merits so it has demerits too. So, just watch it. Have we forgotten the tie back home spouses and kids rep? Different stroke for different folks. Lots of myths yet to be bursted. That is how they used non-existent notions to make me miss a 60% discount offer by Air France on my next flight with them if only I would agree to step down from a connecting flight and allow them cater for me in France for a night. Hian! That opportunity no gree show up again till now, over 5yrs now oh.
Again i beg to differ... From my recent knowledge about US visas nothing is in the absolute and infinite.
What worked for A may not for B. However, as a single person you could vacate alone what about being married and vacating alone.
My experience at the embassy proved this lividly all the single folks vacating were abruptly denied while the family of 4 and 5 ahead of me got their visas, even an Indian family sef.

However, if you read up this thread you'll see transcripts where the VO's made this an issue by asking "WHY ARE YOU NOT TRAVELING WITH YOUR FAMILY?"

IMO i believe it's a 50:50 thing... with or without family, but you stand a better chance with your family if YOU HAVE ONE ALREADY. It shows financial strength , responsibility and lastly oyinbos don't believe you vacate alone with your family right back at home (except there's a reason), in american culture and films it very evident as they do so in caravans crossing the country with the whole family or as a group.

This opinion is not cast in stone, I'm just trying to make common sense!

FrontPageLawyer:
You have strong financial and family ties that should qualify you for a non-immigrant visa, but your proposed purpose of travel does not make sense. To qualify for a visa, you must demonstrate two things: first, that you have a legitimate purpose of travel, and second, that you intend to return to your home country after the authorized visit.

Consular officer takes into consideration whether the statements made by applicant during the interview and the proposed purpose of travel make sense. The headquarters of your place of worship is not a tourist attraction; visa officer is not interested in hearing this. Also, if you're genuinely going for holidays, visa officers are aware that genuine travellers definitely go shopping while enjoying their holidays, no need enticing the officer.

If you genuinely want to visit Niagra Falls, then your purpose of travel should be holiday/vacation and it's advisable you go with your whole team for the interview at the consulate/embassy.

LadyG surely have something to say.
@Lawyer, I counter your position on his purpose of travel....
People have traveled to the US for flimsy reasons as wanting to see snow/wanting to see a basketball game in LA.
However, the US is home to some churches that they found e.g Jehovah's Witness, Church of the Later Days Saints, Assemblies of God etc.
Loads of people have traveled for religious conference, gathering and anniversary/events.

I see no wrong in his purpose of travel.

Vo: Are you Married?
Me: Yes
Vo: Any kid?
Me: Yes, a boy and a girl.

please house, this is a mock interview I prepared for myself. I want our experts to tear me apart so to speak.

Travel history - 100% Ok
Family tie - 100% Ok
Finance - 100% Ok

You may just have to convince the VO why your wife or family isn't going with you.
However, the visa is in you grasp, go ye and get it.
