NYSCRe: What Is Holding Rivers State Government From Paying Us Our Allowance? by benjaminiyke(m): 1:23pm On Oct 11, 2015
princejtb4real:
This is important to Ex-corps members of Rivers
State. During the Last pop which held on July 2nd
2015, His excellency Barr. Nwesom Wike who was
represented by the Secretary to the State addressed
the issue of unpaid state allowances.
He said the government regrettably would not be
able to pay for backlogs left by the past
administration but will ensure that corps members
are paid from this regime.
Thank you.
hmmm. How true and reliable is your information? Where you present or someone told you?
PoliticsRe: Alleged Oil Sector Fraud: ‘ Why FG Is Not Charging Diezani, Others Now’ by benjaminiyke(m): 8:51am On Oct 05, 2015
The oil sector is highly corrupt, and if there is any administrative sector that needs to be seriously probed by EFCC it's NNPC. So many shady deals were executed in the previous administration championed by the former petroleum minister. Impunity/immunity must stop being patronized in this country!!!

When Humans witness the untimely death of another person they Remember God. Why? it's the grace of God we are alive today not by how many times you prayed or called upon his name.....I think we all should be prepared for death at anytime. ECCLESSIATIC 7 vs 4 Says: A wise person thinks about death but a fool thinks only about having good times. God promised everlasting life in heaven not on earth, the physical body(flesh) may be dead but the spirit or soul lives on forever in heaven or paradise depending on your believe.#RIP conductor

The one with Matric Number not in use is no problem as you would have to do registration thus open an account with ur detail when necessary I.e 9th september

The other one with the wrong reg number should report to Student Affairs.

Please a candidate got admitted through Pre degree, payed for jamb regularisation and also validated the jamb number. But just today she tired to verify her name on the senate list,it kept telling her the name on the senate list does not match the one on jamb record. She tried checking her admission status on jamb website with the new regularised number but it says no admission offered. Pls what could be the problem? Your opinion is highly appreciated. Thanks

Please remind me of the cut off marks for education courses and why you chose to embarras yourself with this lie from the pit of hell on this first day of a brand new week? angry
What do you mean by Cutoff mark for Education courses? B.sc(ed) is as difficult as any science course. For example a student studying B.Sc(ed) Chemistry,is offering courses in both pure chemistry and education(double honors). Never ever look down on Bsc(ed). And let me remind you no course is easy to study. Your determination is what counts.....Thanks

1stly, I am civil and wish to believe you are a matured mind so bear in mind that I detest insults of any kind. Just like I will not insult you, I demand that you reciprocate the courtesy.

True love is not relative to the purse.
Accepted, a man's gift makes room for him but it doesn't mean that love is tied to giving.
Christ so much loved the world that he gave his life (not diamonds, crude oil, gold or dollars). We all must first give in order to receive but it doesn't have to be money or expensive gifts.
True love will understand and be contented with what you can give, fake love demands material gifts cus there's no root in the heart to appreciate anything short of that.

Our parents are happy with us when we give then from our pocket but it doesn't mean their love is tied to those gifts.
please who are you? If you are Married, your Husband is damn lucky. Apart from the content of your post....your manner of approach is simply spot on. Your comment logically presented with the necessary under pins. Nice one.

You have a limited knowledge of Nigeria outside the confines of your residence. It is a country of 170 million people with ownership of 146 private jets, third largest ownership of Private Jets in the world aside USA and China. There are hundreds of thousands of millionaires and tens of thousands of billionaires in Nigeria. The government is dysfunctional but on the individual level, people are fuccking rich and wealthy.
your analysis is totally incorrect. At least 80 percent of Nigerian youths are unemployed, unless you are referring to stolen money by Politicians or ill gotten wealth through devious means. Only 10 percent fall under this billionaire or millionaire category.....

I'm a Physics graduate with a 2.1. And I'm targetting the following Industries. IT, Telecoms (did an internship with a telecoms equipment manufacturer) and oil and gas.
With the research I've done so far; the opportunities are limitless! So be strong and do your research well. Of all the pure sciences, Physics and Mathematics are the best(my opinion tho)!
Chemistry must be included.

Op to tell you tthe truth. With a 2:2 u are screwed up bt nt completely.
The Nigerian system has it that after school u go looking for job. The easiest way to stand out of d crowd of millions of fresh graduates is to make atleast a 2:1 bc this puts u at d higher 10% percentile and increases ur chance of being shortlisted for aptitude tests.

Ur 2:2 puts u in d popular basket where most graduates fall into making u having to compete with almost every graduate for d few available position. In this case ur chance of getting that job becomes slimmer.

Peeps have come here shouting it doesnt matter," what u need is connection", "Grace of God", "Go for ur masters", "become self employed", "go for certifications"," what employers look at is skills & nt result". Yes it works for some. But note it that:

-Not everybody has d necessary connections. Some pple bc their uncle is a gate man in a company feel they have connection.

-God rewards hard work with excellence. U didnt play ur part as a student and at d end of d day expect God to come and work wonders. Miracles are nt common that is y they are called miracles.

-U are adviced by some to go for masters.Note that in most cases what will still give u dat job is ur first degree. Masters changes little or nothing. U are still goinf back for more theories with little or no industry experience. If u graduate at 21 or 22yrs better for u. But when u graduate at 26-28yrs and then go for master by d time u are out u are already over 30yrs and that further compound ur woes bc most companies put a maximum age of 24-27.

-Some say become self employed. Note dat it is nt everybody that has d entrepreneural skills. If u study a course dat u can use to practise better for u. Eg: Architecture, Civil Engineering, Pharmacy, mayb Law. Bt for some causes d Nigerian situation cannot allow u practise except u seek employment.

-Some say get certifications. If u like get 100 certifications, the first thing employers use to select candidates for fresh graduate position is 1st degree.

-Some say companies focus more on skills or what u can do. This can only apply for experienced positions. What employers need for graduate trainee applicants is that paper degree ceritificate.

The advice i can give to a graduate with 2:2 depends on:
-The person's age
-The course studied
-Location of residence among others.

However, remember i said a person with 2:2 is screwed up bt nt completely. I am implying dat it is bad bt u can still help ur self. Jst dat u have to work extra hard and in most cases nt likely to get a job as quickly as 1:1 & 2:1 graduates.

Students that still have d opportunity should learn from this thread.

I dnt want to talk abt pple with 3rd class and pass.
Honestly speaking, your Grade does not determine your chances of procuring a job as far as am concerned. Just yesterday a friend who Graduated with a 2'2 in Pharmacology got a job in a company. The person in question just passed out from NYSC last month or so,has NO experience whatsoever,NO masters Degree and Most importantly he has no connection to anyone in the company. All he did was send his CV online to 3 different companies, he was invited for interview by one of the company and he was given the Job. In addition to that, they were lodged in a Hotel for one week and underwent training for a week. His starting salary is 120k monthly, Although his colleague who had about 3 years working experience was paid 150k monthly and was given an official car. So My people it's about God's grace, preparation and information. So many companies in Nigeria are looking for hard working Employees. Good luck. Pray hard.

Aboslutely correct! I was charged #700 for validation. Haven't bought the jamb scratch card for printing d letter. how much for dat one sef? Person don forget price for all these tins. Thanks
