I have read a lot on this thread and I feel so ungrateful for the things I have presently.

It's not easy out there. I am in my finals and I still don't know why many of my colleague don't see past the current sch thing. In few months we will graduate.. Go for NYSC and get hit by the real life.

I am always worried about life after school. I try not to think it but still I need to plan . what if I am unable to cope with the life after?. I am currently doing fine financial as I freelance and have a steady income but still that's does not define my happiness. I have no one to share my worries with. I am considering going into a relationship but I wonder be able to handle any girl for now cause am always working. In my lonely time I go out to drink just to pass time but I can't continue like this forever. I wanted a good life, I have half of it and now it all looks like happiness doesn't exist because of this loneliness and overthinking of the future.

You don't have to curse and your argument is baseless. PHP was written with C too. The main point is OP can use JavaScript at frontend and backend, no change in language.

JavaScript language is progressing faster than PHP even though most highly operational web applications are still powered with PHP.

@OP, it's good you have knowledge on python. It's a very strong programming language, applies almost everywhere but still JavaScript can be used with Python so go for JavaScript

I am also a web developer and from the developer's post up there, he doesn't look like a scammer.

He probably has a lot of jobs on him and still decided to take on your job cause he considered it a very small task but unfortunately, he has been caught up with lot of things to deal with.

Just my own view of things though.

I would say you give him more time and to the developer, he is a client even if you had agreed 1k, it was your choice regardless of whatever resources you used so he needs to briefed and try not to ignore his calls next time, give him your available hours.

I hope the developer gets to fix these issues soon. Nothing as bad as waiting 7hrs in a cafe to register. I feel for you guys.
