I can't even explain. As a kid I never really liked any particular European club nor was I fan of European football, but was always elated watching any match featuring any Nigerian player. That's is talking about, the likes of Amokachi, Okocha, Ksnu, Ikpeba etc. Later I started attaching sentiments to Liverpool, United, and Madrid. How I became a die-hard fan of Manchester United is what I can't fathom till today, but this started around 2005/2006.

So that is your plan? To destroy southerners farms/crops so they can only depend on your goods for survival?
Go ahead with whatever boycott you want to do, and see how you can survive.

You guys in the South should better get used to this scarcity cause it will be the new normal for a very long time. We are even planning to completely stop taking our products down south. Yes, we are dealing With a cocky young man here, one that is too conscious of his rights. Some people are wired like that, not their fault. I think we have a situation where the brother's wife is either of a younger age or about the same age with him. Loyalty/ respect from my own personal experience is always hard to come by. I don't know whether to say this is normal or not. I reserve some respect for adults even if they are younger, even if I am the one catering for them, that's is me anyway.
Having said that, I want to think like someone has already implied above, this could be anew implicit message to the OP that his stay is no longer welcome. So young man think about this but without bitterness.
Yes, I say that because in one of your comments, you said if you are to pack out you would start demanding for your own share of your late father'said property. And this seems a delicate situation to me. Tread with caution OP, such family matters can consume you and your brother or morexpensive.

Woodward that came out to tell the world that they believed in Ole, whether or not he finished in top 4 ? Alright we are watching.
bdchange:
Believe me when I tell you he will be sack comes before or end of the season. Except by some chance he manages to finish strong in 2nd position then he might be consider for at least six months within next season. Anything short of this, Woodward will sack him. Let's wait and see.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: West Brom Vs Manchester United (1 - 1) On 14th February 2021 by Bennycollins: 6:29pm On Feb 14, 2021
Bro, he won't be sacked. The board want to keep him they just want someone they can pay meagre wage. That's is the reason for the crap talk of continuity. Only the team can get him out just like they did Mourhino.
bdchange:
Ole is really a rookie coach He doesn't know how to ground result against the so tag small teams. He won't be there next season, this is the only thing I am sure of. You can't win serious trophy with these inconsistencies.

Talking about one season wonder, Liverpool? Not injury anything, VVD, Gomez, Fabinho etc were all there when Villa trashed them, they could even be worse with those players fit.

Guardiola is so lucky...

The only team that could have stressed them or even prevented them from winning this title is not in form this season due to numerous injuries.

So much cruising for them till end of the season!

I don't know the profession you are talking about. I am an experienced professional in oil/gas myself. Are the imported products not stored? Don't the incure some duties? The crude we export, don't we incure any cost in moving it? Whether you understand it or not, we are better off exporting our own refined product. But our corrupt policy makers would rather the proper things are not done.
fedorahat:
Firstly am not talking from a political standpoint but from a professional one.
What most of you don't understand is that Nigeria selling crude and Nigeria buying fuel are two different things.
Even if our refineries are working least it will do is reduce shipping cost which is negligible, without subsidy it won't impact much on the price of petrol, because crude is a raw material drilled by private companies who want to make a profit, they will only sell it at a slightly lower price if at all to Nigerian refiners, then input cost of refining tax , storage et Al and tell me if you think the price will be lower than it is for now .
Politics › Re: Nigerians To Bear Pains Of High Petrol Cost - Timipre Sylva by Bennycollins: 8:43pm On Feb 09, 2021
Before this unpopular clique took over power, they were shouting it to high heaven that we didn't have business buying fuel at #87 because oil had fallen to about $90 per bbl. We were all deceived thinking that with the oil averaging $45 in their own tenure, we could have a #45/50 per litre regime. But see the turn of things. OK you claim anti- corruption is saving and fetching so much money, why are the refineries not functional? For your information, a barrel of crude when refined can yield over a $100. After all we heard recently from the president himself how much petrol is sold in the neighborhood countries, a great opportunity if we had leaders that think.
A beg, not everyone can be deceived.
fedorahat:
Crude is a raw material for petrol, if the price of raw material rises the price of the finished good will also rise.

Nnpc sells crude oil Nigeria as a country imports petrol these are two different things because nnpc does not sell the crude oil directly it only invest in JV with multinationals and marginal fields to drill the crude when they sell they get their profit back so what they are directly telling you now is that yes we are making profit from crude but don't expect us to use that profits to pay for your fuel we don't want to be directly involved in how you buy fuel which is a good thing because I might use two litres of fuel a day but he rich man will certainly use 15l who therefore is gaining more from the subsidy

How many times have subsidy been removed officially? There is no provision for subsidy in the budget now. Our government is being haunted by their deceitful past. They can't come out to say certain things concerning petrol price , because of the propaganda they have deployed over time to secure power. It's unfortunate that the Nigerian people are the ones suffering for it, supporters and non supporters alike.

Key points from the article

Me hhhl
Still paying subsidy, but wait...

At the bolded is why we should not be subsidisng fuel, and why we should let the marketers determine the price.

But love for cheap fuel is what got us here...(and is one of the reasons why Nigerians even voted APC self).

Also, fuel smuggling is happening...because in neighbouring countries, they sell fuel above N300 per liter...so why won't someone smuggle fuel out of the country and make a profit?

Yet, we won't face reality and remove subsidy.

For your information I am a Christian. May be because I limited my comment to Christian churches. The fact remains Nigerians are corrupt and dubious people by default. We are the most feared all over the world, in or out of church/mosques, yet we boost the biggest worship centres and the largest congregations of worshippers. Deep down you know this is not robbing off on our fortunes and character as a people. Misplaced priorities. I know the truth is bitter, so don't even bother to insult me. You already say I am one of the poorest as if you know me or I am one of the most ungodly.

This is simple to understand. I doesn't matter who beats you or who you beat. Just win more matches and lose less points than otherside, you come tops. Arsenal are 10th so don't even bring them here. OK why are United above Spurs,Arsenal and Palace the only teams they have lost to? Do you know the only team to beat Liverpool last time went on relegation? United beat Spurs, City, Leicester, Chelsea home and away, but we're barely in top 3.
maestroferddi:
You should state the season na...

For your information, Man United has lost to both Spurs and Arsenal among the established top six sides...

In contrast, Man City have victories over Chelsea, Arsenal while Liverpool have come tops against Arsenal, Chelsea and Spurs.

Man United is just angling for a Champions League spot: the hype is just misplaced.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Leicester City Vs Chelsea (2 - 0) On 19th January 2021 by Bennycollins: 6:05am On Jan 20, 2021
Bros leave that thing. There has been time United couldn't beat any of those top sides and still won the league. After all they have only lost to Spurs of the the teams in the top 6. They others drew with United and drop points to.
maestroferddi:
So Man U will win the League in your mind?

Which club has won the Premier League with zero win against fellow top four or six sides at the mid-point of the season?

Forget the hype and face stark reality...
