I always mentioned this on this forum, but them wailers no allow us hear word. This is the exact plan B the IPODS talked about when their protest met stiff resistance, and some gullible Niger Deltans accepted to bomb their backyard for the albino

papparatzzi2013:
NDA is IPOB and IPOB is NDA.

Why are they clamouring for release of the Bleaching Lunatic aka "Our Dilector ".

We cannot be fooled. SE is using NDA to destabilise Nigeria.

If this is really true, then the Niger Deltans are doing well by saying 'NO' to the renewed violence which seems narrow minded and in the interest of a selected few. War is not the only way to be heard out.
PoliticsMEND breaks silence, tackles ‘Niger Delta Avengers’ - Premium Times by bennymark(op): 8:08pm On May 22, 2016
The Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta, MEND, an armed group that engaged the Nigerian government in the past, has broken its silence and has condemned the recent spate of attacks on oil installations in the Niger Delta region.

In a statement Sunday signed by its spokesperson, Jomo Gbomo, MEND said it had carried out “rigorous and robust analysis, debate and review of political events in Nigeria within the past 12 months; particularly as they affect the Niger Delta region” and resolved to continue to respect the ceasefire declared May 30, 2014 against key economic interests of the Nigerian State.

The group said the “painful but necessary resolution” to respect the ceasefire was borne out of its belief that as President Muhammadu Buhari marks his first year in office, he deserves more time to stabilize the country that, it was “run aground by the ill-fated, corrupt and visionless immediate past administration of former President Goodluck Jonathan which pauperized the Nigerian people to the alarming degree we all experience today”.

“The Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND) wishes to condemn and dissociate itself from the recent activities carried out by a group known as the ‘Niger Delta Avengers,” the group said.

“Their sudden emergence has absolutely nothing to do with the Niger Delta struggle but rather a tool by certain elements to destabilise the current government,” MEND said.

It said going by the group’s actions and subsequent statements, it was apparent who the sponsors of the recent attackers were.

MEND also said the Niger Delta region shall not be part of a secessionist Biafran State.
“Rather, the group believes in one strong united Nigerian federation where the principles and ideals of Resource Control; True Federalism; Rule of Law/Respect for Human Rights; Democracy; Free Enterprise and a Vibrant Civil Society are well entrenched in the grundnorm and put to practice,”it said

However, MEND said it remained opposed to the “fraudulent and unsustainable Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP) headed by Brigadier General Paul Boroh (rtd) which still runs on the corrupt bureaucratic and operational template of the past administration”.

“We have always made it very clear that unless the root issues which gave birth to the agitations in the Niger Delta region are addressed, in the form of a sincere dialogue, this programme will only continue to remain a mere cesspool of corruption,” the group said.

“In order to create an enabling environment for dialogue on the Niger Delta question, the Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND) urges President Muhammadu Buhari to release the Okah Brothers – Henry and Charles who were arrested in 2010 on trumped-up charges. The release of Henry and Charles Okah will be key to any form of dialogue in helping to bring stability to the volatile region,” it added.

PhonesRe: 10 Things You Should Stop Doing On Social Media by bennymark(m): 3:57pm On May 22, 2016
Nice work, but I beg to differ pls, number 2 is wrong, pls go and find out the uses of hashtag and how well it helps with targeted traffic.

CaptainEColeJnr:
Hello Nairalanders!
As we all know, we're in the 21st century, and technology has really made life easy and sweet and it has also connected the world together irrespective of distance or language barrier.
Social Media has really played a vital role in Communication and making the world a "Global Village".
But despite being so useful and enjoyable, there is a need we apply restraints when using Social Media .. at least for our own good. There are certain things we mustn't do on Social Media. Excerpts below :
1.Thanking A girl/boy for accepting your friend request : This is peculiar to Facebook, like seriously? do you really have to thank him/her for accepting your request? That only makes you look childish and desperate as if you were begging him/her before. Its definitely not smart!
2.Overusing hashtags : You see someone who posted a comment on Facebook or twitter and at the end of the comment you see stuffs like #21May #WeLoveU #LetsKeepitrolling .. come-on bro! do you really need to write that many hashtags? That will only look childish and make the post look so annoying to read. #Fact (I just used one grin)
3.Asking people to follow you back : Why must you make yourself look so desperate? Why not create a little self pride at least! Asking people to follow you back will just make you look more or less like a roadside beggar begging for some little change!
4. Asking for a lady's nude pictures :Most guys are guilty of this, you strike up a conversation with a girl on Facebook, and after chitchatting and getting on well with her, then you suddenly demand for her nude.s, come-on bros! You are only showing her that you're pervert who is only after sex, Be a gentleman!
5. Plagiarism :When you see an inspirational post or a funny tweet or a unique photo, and you feel the need to show your friends and followers, then you must at least give credit to the owner or original writer of the content.. but reverse seems to be the case, people on social media copy and paste contents and parade it as though they were the original writer.. and that is not good! Plagiarism is a serious offence in most countries, I dunno about Nigeria
6. Posting the same content over and over again : There's this annoying guy that I have in my Facebook, he keeps posting one particular picture over and over again, I dunno really know why he does that ,perhaps because he wore a nice suit in the photo.. I got so tired of seeing the photo.. and the funny thing is that he hardly even get one 'like' .. lol.. why post the same old thing over again, it ain't cool.
7. Posting revealing photos : This goes to mostly the girls, why must you go half-naked on social media just because you wanna get likes and comments.. silly comments like "you're hot" "dope bae" "sexy momma" .. not knowing that you're giving the impression that you're an "olosho" .. Real talk!
Decency pays, you know cool
8. Sharing your home address : Hehehe .. I was going through one of my Guy's. Facebook profile, then I saw "17B Olusanya street,Maryland".. I was like WTF!!! .Who asked you to share such a personal info? Are you running an office in your house? C'mon dude!
9. Constantly bragging about yourself : Some people are so good at show-offs on social media, especially those who are broke-asses in real life.. Must you snap in front of a mirror just to show us your new phone? .. you're definitely not the first to buy such phone sef undecided .. you mustn't show us your new Timberland or your new wristwatches.. niggah keep it to yourself .. no one asked you to show us.. duurrh!
Lets be real!
Getting into arguments : Lol .. I used to be guilty of this before
. but I realised that there's absolutely no point in getting into arguments with anyone on social media.. cuz people aren't always the way you see them on social media, they might be different you know! .. Why not just ignore if someone tries to pick a fight.. in real sense, that makes you look cool and the person dumb! hehehe

I rest my fingers at this moment, Like some people will always say, "Do not take anything on social media too serious .. they might be joking. lol..

Thanks for sharing, after my data finished yesterday, I was able to chheck, I subscribed this morning and it's still same error, I have attached a screen munch, I use *131*4# to check, network is between 3G and 4G, and consumption is on d high side bro, no be lie. No app is updating, none is running on d background, airtel and glo do not finish this fast, but I am stuck on MTN cos of my current location. Thanks anyway

Bro that has not been my experience with the 1.5g plan. I can check my balance and i have even downloaded 3 seasons of game of thrones and i still have some mb.
PhonesRe: Glo New Data Plan by bennymark(m): 6:14am On May 16, 2016
If you love your money, DO NOT SUBSCRIBE to the New MTN data plan,

I am talking from experience.

It is a fraudulent plan. I suscribed on 10th, and yesterday 16th it has finished. I only use it for nairaland, naij.com add premium times. (1.5gig in 6days).

1. After subscribing you cannot see ur data balance till it is finished (*131*4# will always give u error message)

2. I called customer care to ask of my data details; response I got was the application used to chheck is unavailable (MTN's usual scam).

3. Data statistics on my tablet showed usage of over 900MB, where did the remaing 600mb go?

Beware of MTN's own sha. It is only big volume for name, the data goes sharp sharp like a plate of eba b4 a hungry man.

vosquare:
I was still planning to Subscribe mtn 2000 for 3.5gb,didnt know glo is on the line

The last sensible VC FUT Minna ever had was Tukur Saad. After that, the rest na rubbish, especially that clown from Kogi that was rumoured to be a cultist.

SUG in that skul is crap as the skul Don buy dem finish, dduring our time, a lecturer in my dept (Mrs. Caroline) killed a student with her car while he was rushing to attend her class, yet there was no protest of any sort, the 500 level students who went for the burial spent an extra year is skul cos another lecturer (Mr. Zungeru) came to the class n got angry that students travelled n left his class empty, he victimised them.

A lot of shit in dat skul sha, like the case of using welding machine to break into atm right in the permanent site, the standard has fallen drastically, FUT mx is now only surviving on past glory, the protest (if done in the right way) is a positive eye opener that will help the students

Propaganda smells on this thread, a lot of things sound like it was intended to buttress some ideologies that are apparently untrue.

1. What was the evidence they did give Nigeria money? The media only rumoured it and not any of this government has said anything about it unlike a sis African country that just took IMF pills.

2. Despite political distortions to the actual situation in the North East, it rather is true that calm is gradually being restored, not until the army looses it's strength to the same politucal influenza.

3. Only those against this current administration will see light in this sponsored article. A lot of times we have seen international dailies stoop for stipends againts their reputation. Or did it sound excellent when an international daily called our immediate past president an 'ineffectual buffoon'?
Those are contents from Propaganda campaign!

Nigeria is a great country, all this fierce opposition is supposed to help the current government guard against mistakes, let's not take it tooo personal beyond politics.
