Christianity Etc › Re: Who Is Answering The Prayers Of Unbelievers? by benodic: 5:18pm On May 11, 2011
@dare2think

you are making a very valid point. these are things that Christians find hard to understand. the love of the almighty God is for every one. It sends the rain to fall on every one and It allows the sun to also shine on every body.

God created the earth and put immutable laws to control things. any one who follows the laws and principles of prosperity will be rich. it does not matter whether the person believes in the existence of God or not.

God is not even begging any one to believe in It and It really does not care if you worship it or not. the problem is that Christians confuse Jehovah as the almighty God which he certainly is not. Jehovah who is the tribal god of the isrealites is the one that is jealous and loves worship. The almighty God who we know as the Sugmad has no time for all these petty things. It is only interested in the expansion and growth of soul's consciousness so that soul can become mature and come back home to It.

hmmm! not good enough,

The question is destiny though.

If you say man is destined to be with God (heaven),
no one goes to hell.

So there's a problem with the argument.
there is no problem with the argument. you have to pass through hell to get to heaven. the lower worlds where souls spent time learning the lessons of love can be seen as hell.
going through the spiritual purifications needed to become pure souls can be seen as a very hellish experience.
no one is destined to remain in the lower worlds for eternity, the lower worlds are simply schools built by God for souls to come into it in order to become spiritually mature.
only soul can determine the amount of time it needs to go through the experiences it has to go through in order to become a purified soul

first of all i want to make the point that there is nothing like unbelievers before God. that is a dichotomy created by man. God loves all life so much that It made
provisions for all souls to be able to reach out to It in their own unique way.

that is why there are so many religions on Earth each with its own unique way of approaching God. souls are to choose the one most comfortable to them. there is no need for rancour or bitterness. God answers the prayer of every soul.

It doesn't matter to it whether you believe that God exists or not and it doesn't matter your religion. God's love is totally unconditional and everlasting.

@benodic

thus, there is no hell?
of course there is hell. but the question is what is hell. hell is not a place but simply a state of consciousness. a state of consciousness totally devoid of love is the most hellish place in existence. thus a man can live in a palace full of all the goodies in life but if his heart is filled with hatred and unhappiness, such a person is in pure hell.

love is the only way out of hell and love is the reason God sent us to the lower worlds to learn it and become spiritually mature and God-like because the nature of God is love and love only.

every master that comes to earth utters the truth. truth is. it has no religion and it has no sect.
it is left for souls on earth to recognize truth when they see it and to put it into practice. this then starts the soul on the long journey back to God.

do unto others as you will have them do unto you is one of the basic truth guiding the universes of God and it goes to show us that we are all one.

there are no dichotomies and no divisions except the one we create for ourselves.
God loves us so much and very much wants us to extend that love to our fellow souls and that is really why we are here.
Christianity Etc › Re: Can Man's Destiny Be Altered by benodic: 9:59am On May 10, 2011
@ poster,

man has only one destiny that can never be altered. it is just a matter of time.
and that destiny is to one day go back home to God like the prodigal son and to become a co-worker with God. when this destiny would be fulfilled depends on the individual soul.

Before you can improve your life and find a measure of happiness, you must learn to do one thing every day out of pure love. That means, don’t expect anything in return—neither thanks nor happiness. Pick that occasion carefully. Then, whatever that one act of giving of yourself to someone else is, do it with all your heart.

detribalisedhuh r u kiddin mehuh if we detribalise, den we gnna lose our culture. Our tribes r our identity. The root of our problem lies in our religion and not in our tribes. d north r muslims n d south r christians. Both r fanatical, oppressive n foreign. d only way we 9ja can unite without losing our tribal culture, is by reverting to our original and more peaceful Pagan traditional faiths. In that way, derz not gnna be any more fighting and we can finally start thinking about progress and development. Angry Angry
may be you do not understand what i mean by saying detribalised. it simply means that you do not judge people based on their tribe. if you are igbo for example, you will treat a yoruba man exactly the same way you will treat your fellow igbo man.

it does not mean you will lose your culture or your identity. it is all about having love for all the tribes in the country without being biased or prejudiced against any of them. this is what we need in this country.

@ poster,

you might be surprised to learn that there are many of us in nigeria that are totally detribalised and so passionate about this country. i still believe in the concept of light a candle instead of cursing the darkness. when i light my candle in my little area and you light your candle in your little area before you know it there will be light everywhere.
concentrate on the positive contribution you can do in your little area and leave the rest to God.

Lol.
You sound like my daddy.
2mths after he's back to the north.
my dear i am not speaking for all southerners in all the northern region. i am only referring to those of us in azare, bauchi state. these were people who have lived up to 30 years here without witnessing any mayhem here. this place was always seen as a safe haven in bauchi state. but finally the bubble busted on monday.

southerners staying in places like sabon gari in kano have nothing to fear as that place is well secured. but it will be fool hardy for any southerner to remain in a place like azare where there is no security.

There should be compensations for the victims and you guys should move down south.
a lot of guys here have already started relocating back to the south. the remaining ones are tidying up their things. no one from the south is planning to remain here after this mayhem.
