This "us against them" mentality is just heart breaking. All religions that worship a divine entity or supreme being
for the most part have the same foundation and principles. If you are praising a creator of Love, Respect, and recognition
of Humanity, why should we be apart or enemies because I call him A, you call him B? I wear this style of clothes, and you wear
yours another way? It's disheartening to see how sour ppl have gone in regardless to their judgment and relationship with other
human beings in the name of religion and division.
thank you so much my sister for your wonderful contribution. if we can have more people in this world with your mindset, we would be witnessing a golden age on earth today instead of the carnage being visited on us by people who do not even know the core tenets of their religion.

may God continue to preserve and protect us from religious bigots.

When you get out of the habit of listening, the voice of Divine Spirit becomes weaker and weaker. Not because It is speaking in a quieter voice, but because you have turned down the volume control on the inner instrument of Soul.

religion did not fail anyone. rather it is the followers who have failed themselves and failed God.
the holy books serve as a guide to the Holy spirit within all souls that teaches you all truth.
it is left for us humans to practice the spiritual exercises stipulated in the holy books in order to make contact with the holy spirit then does transformation comes in your life.

i thoroughly condemn your post. you do not know what you are talking about. there is no religious issue in what we are witnessing in the north.

i can tell you that because my town in the north is burning and we have gathered together at the outskirts of the town defending our houses that are left.

amongst us are yorubas, tivs, idomas, niger deltans, igbos, and some fulanis. we have both moslems and christians in our midst. we all came out in one spirit to defend ourselves against hausas that came from neighboring villages to burn our remaining houses after destroying the houses and shops of southerners some of who were also moslems inside the town.

we all should kindly ask the hausas in northern nigeria to tell us what we did to them to warant the kind of carnage i witnessed in katagum, bauchi.

may God continue to strenghten all the moslems amongst us and all the christians too who had the courage to come out and stop the hodlums that came to burn our houses and to kill us.

may God accept the souls of all the corpers and all the other southerners that lost their lives at the hands of their neighbours who they have loved and served with all their heart.

and may God forgive the hausas that have decided to kill their neighbours and also touch their hearts so that they can leave the path of hatred and walk the path of love.

LOVE IS THE ONLY ONE WAY TO GOD. Either as a christian, muslim, Buddhist, e.t.c if one has a genuine LOVE toward his/her fellow human it'l automatically becomes a sort of daily worship to the creator cos such individual will refrain from acts that may oppress others (he'l gradually run away from evil or sin). It is not only christians that have access to God but rather the all encompassing LOVE one bears within. Even majority of the so called self-acclaimed christians couldnt understand the teachings of christ properly hence their one sided interpretations. The emergence of christ is a gift out of the LOVE of God towards man. A proper understanding of that LOVE will save the world from religious dogmatism
thanks for your wonderful input.

i wish more people will come to this realization that love and love alone will take you to heaven and not any doctrine or dogma or holy book. the aim of spiritual masters and holy books is to awaken the love of God that is already within each soul.

unfortunately followers of religion leave the main thing and start fighting each other over whose master or whose God is bigger. very sad indeed.

A healing can happen instantly. Or it may happen in other ways, such as when an individual comes in contact with another person who says, "Hey, here is something which may help you." It’s still up to the individual to open his consciousness and accept the different way of doing things.

hi benodic:-) long time! benodic l have sang Hu these past days conciderably; l haven't taken-of yet:-(; am having difficulty in the 'love aspect'- where you fill yourself with love- and i guess thats why its hasn't worked yet. so the question is how do one love God?
once you start singing HU a lot of things that happening which you may not even notice and think that it is not working. the basic thing that HU starts a process of Spiritual cleansing from inside out. this is a very gradual thing and takes time. this spiritual purification is very important so that the holy spirit can flow through you to all life without any distortion.
to love God you start by loving something in your life. it can be a pet, it can be your relatives it doesn't matter what. just love something. then when you do the spiritual exercise focus on that thing you love and then sing the HU. watch your dreams and watch your life. you will see the subtle hand of God coming into your life.

secondly, the mahanta can be met by invitation. how do you do that one? thanks for what you doing here! l read your posts often.8-)
to meet the mahanta all you have to do is to give him a verbal invitation after your spiritual exercise. watch out for him in your dreams. you have to note that he will come to you in a manner you will be very comfortable with. for example he can come to you in the shape of the person you love and trust most in life. The mahanta is the Holy Spirit in a form that you can easily relate to. so you have to have an open mind.

enjoy your experience

Dude i tire, but i refuse to settle for the Status quo of our kinsmen feudal ideologies. It's selfish and unfair to the rest of the world that have got their own doctrines. Why Then disregard their faiths and say "Jesus is the only way". Why can't we all co-habitat and aknowledge the diversity of the world.
the problem with most of these religions is that their masters have gone into the inner worlds and only very few can venture into those inner worlds to ask them whether what was written about them is true or not.

the knowledge about God is so immense and one individual can not encompass it fully in one lifetime. so any one claiming that he knows it all about God should be referred to the story of the 6 blind men and the Elephant.

Why confine our views?. Religion has done more harm to our psyche hence the lack of progress in africa. We value our faiths more than our neighbor, which seem to me a clear contradiction. Like i said before, our religiuous life is a reflection of political structure in Nigeria. Deceit is rife.
what you are saying is really true. we value our faiths more than our neighbor. it is really very sad and should not be so. and this is the issue i have been talking about. what we fail to realize is that we can not say we love God if we can not love the creations of God. that is the starting point.

welcome to religious bigotry 101. christianity claims that Jesus is the only way to God and all others are bound for hell, moslems claim that theirs too is the final word and all others are slated for destruction. these issues used to make me wonder whether God who is supposedly almighty and all knowing is really silly or is it man in his own myopism is the one that is silly.

this is the reason why i always emphasize that you must make the same journey that these past masters made and get to know the supreme being on your own and find out from God itself whether God is a christian, a moslem, a buddhist or a hinduist.

i guess it is only God that can answer that question and not any human being.

Hi benodic, hope all is well & I know you'll be going out to vote tomorrow. To be honest I did'nt continue praying about the truth cause I still feel am not ready, but I need your advice on something else.Like most people I have a conscience that guides me from right & wrong.I hear this other voice talking to me,I can't differentiate it from my conscience but I know its different because it has predicted future events accurately. Thanks for any help you can offer.stay blessed.
congrats.
you have started hearing the voice of your inner guide. every soul has an inner guide that works with It and guides It, helping It to mature spiritually.

it is usually lack of spiritual maturity that prevents us from seeing or hearing them. there is really nothing to fear.

as per being ready, you are not the one to say whether you are ready for the truth or not.
God knows you more than you know yourself and will take you gradually from one level of truth to another when you are ready for it.

i hope this helps.

thanks

The silence of the Islamic countries and countries with a muslim majority population says a lot about this attitude in the service of Islam.
well said, Thehomer. this is exactly the point that i have been making. A religion will always be judged by the action of its followers. The taking of human life is something that is very vile indeed and there is no excuse for it.

where then is forgiveness?
i am sure that they have not heard about it in northern Nigeria because of the elections or else by now some cities would have started burning by now too.

may God save us all from religious zealots.

it is really very sad indeed. i can not see myself killing people just because someone burned the holy book of my religion.

i will simply surrender the person to God and go on with my life giving unconditional love to all.
this is because i know that such action is due to narrow mindedness and lack of love.

there is really not much difference in consciousness between those who burn a religion's holy book and those that kill people because of such an action.

God is big enough to fight Its own battles.
