openMind0:I agree with you on your first point! On the second point,I believe based on the current electricity act,the FG has not part to play as this is now the responsibility of the state government to provide electricity for the state! As for the subsides,it may not necessarily leave as the removal has surged the price of electricity! A company once reported that the funds used for electricity bills is now thrice what they pay for diesel to power their generator every month! |
lexy2014:Okay robot! Am done with you! |
lexy2014:Your question is meaningless if you didn't peruse my earlier comments on federalism! There is a reason why I specifically wrote 'full implementation of federalism' which implies that it was and still only 'partially' implemented! Your last comments are laughable but let me indulge you with a rhetorical question.....what is the meaning of federalism and which country aside Nigeria practices that system? Your answer will determine whether I will continue any further with this back and forth dance! |
lexy2014:Ok |
lexy2014:Really? Please remind me....Is there resource control by states? Do states have their own police? |
lexy2014:The initial electricity law gave the federal government control over electricity provision in states! After the amended electricity act which decentralized electricity from the centre and gave states the authority to generate, transmit and distribute electricity to their domain, there is no reason why a state governor should be depending on the national grid for electricity! I believe my response should answer your query! |
openMind0:I believe the electricity act signed by both buhari and Tinubu has given state governors the authority to generate, transmit and distribute electricity in their states! This ensures that state will no longer need the national grid to provide electricity for them! As it pertains to state policing being controlled by the state judiciary, that will indirectly transfer control to the state governors as they are also in control of the selection and appointment of the state chief judge who is incharge of the state judiciary! Hence,no matter who is selected by the state judiciary as representative, just know that the one selected had being influenced by the governor! I would suggest an independent panel made up of pressure groups in the state and ensuring that the appointment of the state commissioner of police is done through a transparent and open process! |
My question about this deradicalization of Boko boys is who gave the army the powers or authority to pronounce these killers as repentant without the involvement of a court of law? |
Samajogs:🤣🤣🤣 |
TemmyT002:In fairness to the president, provision of electricity is now the responsibility of state governors after the modified electricity act! |
openMind0:What type of electricity reforms? State policing controlled by the state judiciary whose selection and appointment come from the state governor is a recipe for disaster! |
Full implementation of federalism and immediate electoral reforms esp removing the power of the president to select and appoint INEC officials! However,I am a 100% doubtful that he will ever do so! |
You cannot speak for everyone esp those who have been victims of the obvious maladministration of the current president! Seems Tinubu is trying very hard to displace former president Buhari as the worst Nigerian president! |
Futuristica:You should have divorced her a long time ago! She has already found someone....That's the reason why she confidently said you can divorce her! |
I showed her the message for her to explain what it was about . She said she can't remember what it was about and that she doesn't know. When I pressed further, she started gaslighting that if I feel she cheated, I should give her a divorce .Grant her request swiftly! |
I advise parents to download cartoons from the 80s,90s maybe early 2000! Any cartoon done in this present era has been stained and influenced by the woke culture! |
20s: 'I can have any man' 40s: 'any man can have me' |
The usual suspects (1995) Ratings: 8/10 |
The fact that these killings are constantly happening shows that we have an incompetent president! Yet he keeps telling investors that Nigeria is secure for business as if he lives in a bubble! |
helinues:Who is the commander in chief of the armed forces? This same president Tinubu had once lamblasted GEJ about insecurity during his time as president! When there was insecurity in the north east in 2014,Tinubu never blamed the North....he blamed the then president! Your obvious hypocrisy stinks! |
I will tackle security and Tinubu will tackle the economy - Shettima🥱🥱 Insecurity has been reduced to 10% - NSA Nigeria is now secure and open for business - Tinubu 🥱🥱🥱 |
Hmmm Until these transport companies are held accountable for either the current state of their vehicles or the recklessness of their unprofessional drivers, these avoidable accidents will not abate! |
If Chelsea had not qualified for the UCL,would the conference league triumph be seen as an achievement by OP?🥱 |
Ndenomy:It was the pic you attached below that prompted my comment! That's not Pierce brosnan but George Lazenby!
|
Ndenomy:That's pierce brosnan |
IMPARTIAL:Ladies man for Timothy Dalton? 😢😢 That guy face way stiff like 3 day old eba! |
Ndenomy:No sir! This is George Lazenby and he is the only actor that did only one bond movie 'On Her Majesty's Secret Service' |
Pierce Brosnan However,George Lazenby should not be on this list! The worst bond actor! |
Most ladies who wear it are not just prostitutes and promiscuous but bisexuals! A female friend who used to wear it for fashion purposes had to stop after a lady tried to toast her! Even when she insisted that she wasn't into babes, the lady kept insisting on toasting her! |
🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂😂 That's old story nah Who is the current minister of petroleum resources?😄😄 |
What's this 'expired milk' talking about?😄 What is LP without Obi? Nah INEC I dey blame....they are using 3 months to study a supreme court judgement as if the writings are in latin! Just the same way EFCC is taken Ng time to analyse a video of Tompolo....if the culprit were a normal citizen or a celeb, they will take action! Useless agencies under Tinubu! |
