The PDP youth leader of Ushongo LGA, Prince Ternenge Gbuuga, was murdered by unknown gunmen in the early hours of today at his residence in Lessel, Ushongo LGA..

Benue in recent times have witnessed series of incessant killings. Just a few weeks ago, unknown gunmen killed a young man in Gboko LGA.

There’s yet to be an official police statement on this latest incident.

Meanwhile, the newly inaugurated Governor of Benue State, Dr Samuel Ortom has declared amnesty to illegal arms possessors, requesting them to hand in their weapons and seek alternative legitimate means of livelihood.
