enshy: Were you born again? Do you have inner peace? Are you sure you are not still searching for the truth? Are you comfortable with your state? LOL, the problem is that most of you think we are searching for "God" or the "truth".. Where in fact we've examined and found out how ridiculous these beliefs are, like I for one just laugh when people talk about hell and all those absurd beliefs. I was never at trouble in the first place, I always had inner peace... i was "born again" during my delusional years |

enshy: Hmmn, what an experience! As per your second question: God wont ask me to sacrifice the life of my son cos Jesus is the Full Sacrifice! Abraham and Isaac story was symbolic of what God would eventually do in Christ! In addition, every demand/responsibility towards us by God comes with Grace to deliver! My second question: Were you ever born again? Any xtian experiences? My first question, you ommited the peace part. Hmm, I don't think you were actually christened like I was.. I went to church everyday, every single day without missing, for up to 3years, this was my final days as a devote Christian, I was catholic, but along the line went to a pentecostal church.. About Christian experiences, I really tried hard as a Christian to attribute normal events to God, I do pray at times and when I don't see any change(all the time), i say God's will be done.. my aunt went for an operation, and I was home praying and crying, she had a successful operation and I thought it was as a result of my prayer, but it later dawned on me that doctors have been helping millions of people without prayers!! One thing I knew was that I never saw any miracle happen to people whom I know to be physically disabled, the only miracles I hear of are always on TV and they happen to those I don't know... My friend's dad is blind, he was taken to Tb Joshua, and can you imagine, "God's time is the best", was what he was told.. Not until now, I realized miracles were fake as the tranny allegations on Michelle Obama! |

enshy: Thanks my friend. I answered one; you will equally need to answer one before the second from me. How did you get to this state of not believing in God, are you convinced ure ok with an evidence of inner peace? Be truthful pls! I actually got into knowing the Bible more, I decided to judge the Bible using intelligence.. Found out how absurd my beliefs were over all these years of blind faith.. I started faulting bible stories, like the creation story, Noah's ark, God killing himself to himself to save you From what he himself will do to you, God claiming to be omniscient and claiming we all have free will(omniscience and freewill are clearly opposite), how an omniscient God didn't know Adam and eve ate the forbidden fruit.. how a loving God will send you to eternal torment for not loving him back... It was then I realized how ridiculous these stories were, I in fact realized I haven't experienced any God.. So like a child who discovered Santa Claus was fake, I discovered God was fake and all made up to control people!

Im so sure beyond doubt that Heaven is my home. Do you know what Ive been through serving this Jesus? Im ready to die, my children are more radical..The Holy Spirit possesses them from the womb! Didnt you read Isaac's acct when the Father wanted to make him a sacrifice..When the father bound him and placed him on the alter, he didnt resist! My Bro, My Family and I have resolved to serve God till eternity regardless of insults, oppositions, hunger, famine, challenges! Dont stress! We know what we live and die for! Hmm.. What do you take? You live for nothing! Where is the legacy for humanity? No hope in this life and in that to come!! Atheism is a shameful belief out of deep folly! You are left in the cold on your own without inner peace! You need God! LOL . First off, atheism is not a belief! Secondly, who do you think lives life the most? One who looks forward to his death and is unsure of where his God will send him to, or one who lives for now and enjoys every minute of his life without a belief of getting another one?? I have a question for you, I know you won't answer, but just try and examine how psychotic you are.. If your kids are caught and placed on gun point, and the only way you can save them is by sincerely denouncing your God, and saying "Bleep Jesus". .. just leave your faith behind forever. Would you denounce your Jesus or allow your kids to die, knowing fully well that there is no other way.. Go on, am waiting for your answer |

There is nothing logical in big bang. The name "big bang" was even a mockery derivative.

That's why I said if you don’t know things, it'll be better to keep your mouth shut.. Evolution although is not 100% fact, but it wasn't established by mere assumptions either.. There are a lot of evidence that supports evolution, like fossils of extinct human-ape like creatures (like the bonobos, Neanderthals).. And in our present environment, we can find our relationship to apes by our DNA similarities, which suggests that we came from similar descendants and we had to change to adapt to our environment over the course of years.. Evolution is not an ape turning into a human being!! |

enshy: @benzics, obviously you dont know what Xtianity is. Take this instance: Once upon a time, Benzics, a King had a subject who he took as a jolly good friend and loyalist who later sought to dethrone him. Naturally Benzics banished him from the Kingdom. Now the servant turned enemy naturally as vengeance sought to deplete the Kings domain by deceiving the subjects, friends and relatives of the King. You as an earthly King, you see that desperate enemy around you daughter, what would you do? I guess you will leave her to decide...You wont let her know Mr Wicked is an enemy she must flee from? If she wont listen, Mr Benzics, if she were your only child, will you handover your investments to her, knowing she has been joined with an enemy... God is not Man, he wont condescend to make anyone accept Him...He is who He is... Yes God has an enemy (the devil) who has been defeated and we Xtians trample on him...Our King has warned us not to join issues with him/his subjects..We only rebuke them cos we are in control in this Kingdom...We dont warn him/his subjects cos we dont cast our pearls before swine, we warn the innocent, uninformed, our loved ones, the fearful, the willing, the prepared... The Xtain Message is simply not for All!!!! I dont join issues with those who believe not and are enemies of Christ. You know all the sh-ts you posted above is rendered null and void, since you claim your God is omniscient and omnipotent.. Which means he already knew what lucifer would do, but he still created him/her.. Basically, God created evil, and he has predetermined your life even before you were born, which means you are already destined for hell by your God.. Why do you still call lucifer the bad guy, when he is in fact innocent?? The murders of the Bible was it committed mostly by yahweh or lucifer? Your God is your problem |

Does the above mean instilling fear and blackmail? Shouldnt a wise man heed? Isnt it a fool that would say let me get there first and see? NO, the above doesn't instill fear and is no threat, but that isn't what Christianity is all about, it is more like. "Mr A, don't follow that wide road, because the road belongs to the enemy of my loving father, and my father hates competition, you better follow my father's narrow road, because if he sees you following his enemy's road, he will set you on fire, so don't anger my loving wonderful beautiful forgiving father.. Christianity Etc › Would The World Be Better Without Religion? by benzics(op): 6:55pm On Feb 24, 2017 |
Yes, people often ask this question, but would the world really be better without religion?
As an atheist, I discovered many super powers, lol, yeah... I never believed I could be this loving.
I once hated gays, and they just disgust me, but once I left religion and embraced humanity, I found love in this people, the hate I once had for homos disappeared.
And it's no longer a hidden fact that the most hateful sect of people are actually Christians, while the most violent are Muslims.. If you want to know how hateful a Christian is, converse with him..
I don't know, but I find Muslims more enlightened, but just that they lack basic sense of humor, and get annoyed over useless things, but a moderate or liberal Muslim is just intelligent.. Same with the moderate Christians.
But it's very difficult to find religious moderates around us, take nairaland as a case study, when you go through posts by Christians, you find out how hateful these people can be..
The other day, a Christian told me he would kill me with a plank if he met me, because I supported gay rights.. WTF??
Another one said she would rather watch all her kids being killed than denounce Jesus. When you read things like these, you'll know humanity is f-cked.
The world would be actually better than it is now without religion, but will not be totally free of crimes and atrocities.
Without all these hateful sons of an imaginary hateful bastard, and violent followers of a pedophilic warlord, don't you think the world would be better?
Atheism does not guarantee a hate free or peaceful world, but humanism does..
I long for the day when people would realize that this world is all we have, and act humanly to every inhabitants of the earth, where Christianity and Islam is seen as "ancient myths", I know that day is coming..
Remember, people once worshipped Thor and Odin, as real gods, but today these gods are regarded as myths, I know the day Allah and Yahweh will be regarded as myths, is coming..
The world really need to be free of religious idiocy.

UyiIredia: * A moral person does not kill innocent kids as done in the flood and many wars sanctioned by God in the OT.
* A moral person does condemn people innocent of a crime such as the unborn children of Adam and Eve.
* A moral person does not kill a helpful person. In 2 Sam 6:7 God killed a man ho tried to stop the ark from falling.
* A moral person doesn't kill for petty reasons eg lying as in Ananias or Sapphira or worshipping an idol.
* A moral person does need to kill someone to forgive. Even humans don't ask for blood sacrifice go forgive someone for something.
* An sadistic, immoral person is the sort that would be okay creating eternal torture as a form of punishment even for relatively mundane acts such as fornication.
* An immoral person punishes someone for an action he made the person do. For example, God created homosexuals that way, they didn't choose to be so. Yet God punishes them for it.
Let's hope this makes someone apply critical thinking to their beliefs. Hypocrites like King.EbukasBlog can keep justifying God's immoral acts by claiming that one shouldn't hold God to. the moral standards he himself made. Wow, brilliant! And seriously, even the story of Ananias and his wife really provoked me, striking people dead for their own properties? It just pains me that Christians really try hard to justify these acts. A Christian telling you "can't a father punish his child", just to justify hell, is really appalling, theists are just nothing but slaves! |
