Guy, I even considered it at one point embarassed grin
LOL. I'm in stitches right now. grin grin

Probably coz of my occasional taunting and inserting the idea in your head since last year. grin

The funny thing is that, no good cinema will show the movie again. It's past its buzz era. So, even if you decide to watch it during your visit, I seriously doubt you'd able to see it.

Thank your stars you've been provided with a link, or else you'd have been forced to relocate to Nigeria just to see the movie. grin grin

I just saw Shazam, for the comedy that entertained me, I'd say 4/10. Aside that DC should be ashamed of themselves. The movie was going on well until the other children became Shazams, then behold 6 adults trying but failing to behave like children. I'll definitely not repeat the movie. But the comedy was fun it actually got me laughing aside that the movie was wack. The 1st wack movie I've seen on my phone, closely followed by Capt Marvel... Both Captains were wack jor but Shazam was worse

I look foward to the interrogation scenes, they are usually where the mysteries unravel. The cross-examination dialogue are spellbindingly realistic. I always feel like a fly on the wall, like I am secretly intruding on other people's private affairs.

My favorite character is Steve Arnott. He's probably the only one out of the three that isn't motivated by ambition. He really believes in what he's doing.
@emboldened, couldn't have put it any better. The dialogues are very realistic and captivating. The interrogation is the best part of the series for me too. I told myself the brain behind the series must be a writer coz he's very articulate and pays attention to details, and when I Googled him, I wasn't surprise. The man is novelist, no wonder he's able to write a realistic and intelligent script. And he's the brain behind Bodyguard as well. The man is freaking good.

Steve was my best character before Hastings' unflinching incorruptible ways endeared him to me in season 3. The way he never allowed loyalty or friendship stop him form setting straight Gill or Fairbank was commendable.

TV/Movies › Re: What Series Are You Watching Now? Part 2 by Beorn: 9:34am On Jun 23, 2019
Damn, this Line of Duty is low key very dope. The story line is well thought out and immaculately written. Why on earth did I wait this long before watching it?

I love the detailed investigations carried out. I don't think the series have any significant plot hole. And Inspector Hastings is my favourite character. Astute. Calm under pressure. Meticulous and incorruptible.

I'm still in season 3 and I'm already pained that season 5 is where the season is currently at, wish it had up to season 10.

I've made many errors in my posts in the past, it's no big deal. When I was corrected, I accepted my mistake. This time around, I was right.

Nah, I don't think so. This is more enlightening and not the tiring DC vs MC dick-measuring contest. It's quite revealing if you're into comics.

WTFhuh
You have a very basic mentality pal. Let me get this right, so if I were to look up to the skies and see the clouds gathering, and maybe feel some droplets of rain and then say rain will soon fall, does that make me a rain maker huh Accessory to the fact or whatever the fvck your cunt brain wants to term it huh Or I see a stabbed man bleeding and I say this man would die soon, that makes me a murderer going by your logic huh No need to answer me Einstein, you will just throw another asinine stuff at me which I won't be able to swallow.
When they tell people that speaking/typing in English is not must, they'd think they are insulting them.

There will always be people who will support mods no matter the scenario. Just leave it at that
At least let them do it with wisdom and within the ambit of the law. Supporting anarchy with a moronic post makes one look foolish.

If my post broke any rule, that high-handed mod would've banned me. His tyrannical ways are well-known on Nairaland. He knew I broke no rules so he hid my post just because he's drunk with power.

If you check closer, don't be surprised to find out that the guy is an APC supporter.

They can rationalise rubbish for Africa smiley
I've never seen this level of psycophancy in my life. I hope the ass-licking pays well.

Only on Nairaland that a meme saying "fight will soon start" become equal to insulting a tribe, insulting a Nairalander and defending violent act. The kind of graduates universities churn out these days. SMH.

if you cannot see why you broke the rule, then you're more mischievous than I thought. have a good day.
Sorry to say this, but your rebuttal is very dumb. Explain who or whose tribe I insulted, and the violent act I defended. Don't go, explain your rubbish post.
TV/Movies › Re: What Movie Are You Watching Now? by Beorn: 8:54am On Jun 15, 2019
DandeNumeruno:
you deliberately broke rule 2 and 3.
2. Don't abuse, bully, deliberately insult/provoke, fight, or wish harm to Nairaland members OR THEIR TRIBES.

3. Don't threaten, support or DEFEND violent acts against any person, tribe, race, animals, or group (e.g. rape).

How does a "fight will soon start" break the rule above?

No offense, but you have comprehension issues if my meme is seen as DEFENDING A VIOLENT ACT OR INSULTING A NAIRALANDER OR THEIR TRIBES.

Whose tribe was insulted by the meme? Goodness gracious!! The kind of humans we seevob the internet.

a little maturity will go a long way. what were you trying to prove by posting a childish instigative meme. now that your post is rightfully hidden, you've turned to play the innocent bystander. mtchew.
I take it that since you can't bring up any rule against my meme, you then have to slander me with a non-existent rule?
TV/Movies › Re: What Movie Are You Watching Now? by Beorn: 8:49am On Jun 15, 2019
DandeNumeruno:
you played a cheerleader. it makes a stakeholder. in a court of law, you're an accessory after the fact.
Can you state the Nairaland rule it broke. I want to know where this your rule comes from. Another Nairaland or your own Nairaland?
TV/Movies › Re: What Movie Are You Watching Now? by Beorn: 8:47am On Jun 15, 2019
DandeNumeruno:
you cheerleaded.... it makes you a stakeholder in the fight. an innocent bystander doesn't post a suggestive meme in a middle of an ongoing duel. you're guilty and deserved to have your post hidden. stop playing the victim.
Which rule is that? I'm curious to know.
TV/Movies › Re: What Movie Are You Watching Now? by Beorn: 8:44am On Jun 15, 2019

How exactly does "fight will soon start" encourage fighting and make someone accessory to the fact?
How is a post indicating that some individuals are about to fight exactly harmful? Who, if I may ask could such a post possibly harm?

Can you break it down for me? Because I can't even make sense of what you are trying to convey here.
I swear down, the guy's post really left me speechless. I couldn't believe he wrote the nonsense at first, that's why I asked him to explain how it encourages fight that's going on.

Ask him to bring up a rule that is against people posting meme, and he'd go numb. If someone post a meme that didn't insult a tribe or any Nairalander, and another person decide to foolishly fight coz of it, how is the meme poster at fault? Did my meme insult anybody? Arrgghh!! Some reasoning sha. SMH.

DandeNumeruno:
posting a meme that said 'fight will soon start' is not innocuous. encouraging a fight makes you an accessory after the fact.
How does posting a meme that said fight will soon start "encourage" a fight THAT HAD ALREADY BEGUN?

Help explain that. I'm patiently waiting.
TV/Movies › Re: What Movie Are You Watching Now? by Beorn: 6:13am On Jun 15, 2019
Now my innocuous post (just a meme) and a mention that I got are both hidden. Mehn, how people abuse power on the internet is inexplicable.

Looking forward to Hobbs and Shaw, trailer looks good

Also looking forward to 'Anna' coming out
I watched Anna's trailer when I saw Endgame and despite it being visually scintillating, I'm afraid it's just another Naked_ Weapon in the making.

It's basically going to be the same storyline about a girl trained as an assasin and uses her beauty to lure victims who are usually men into her trap before assassinating them. Then one day, she'll want out of the program and go after her bosses. I've seen this kind of clichéd storyline many times in the past.

Anyway, I'll be waiting for your review of it, so that if I'm proven right, I'll not waste money on it at the cinema. grin grin

Hobbs and Shaw is not coming out till August. Too far. I guess I'll just see Dark Phoenix next weekend without expecting much. That way I won't feel disappointed. Who knows, I might enjoy it.

You may not want to waste money on it but I still think it's watchable, if you followed the comics you'll probably be disappointed since the timelines are messed up for example but if you're watching it as just another 'fantasy/action' movie you probably won't hate it (maybe lol) cheesy
Hmmm. If I eventually change my mind and see this movie and I end up very disappointed, I'm trekking straight to UK to arrest you. angry cheesy
