Still, Ben Affleck's batman looked fat and my original point still stands- Bale looked more athletic than Affleck as batman. His fights were even better and more realistic.

Next time, dont hype second rate batmen!
Who hyped Affleck? Definitely not me. My point has been well noted here. Being lean doesn't make you more athletic. Bale doesn't look more athletic than Anthony Joshua despite him being more lean than him.

JeromeBlack:
huh

Did I not say that Deontay won serious points for the knockdown? Or do you not know how to read?

At the end of the day, the knockdowns gave Deontay the edge when it came to points. Simple.
It's not the knockdowns that gave Wilder the edge o jare. It's the dumb Mexican judge that doesn't know zilch about awarding points in a boxing match.

How come both neutrals and well-seasoned boxing critics, as well as retired heavyweights like Lennox and co, gave Fury the W? Do you know better than the majority who exposed the foolishness of the Mexican ref? Wilder was helped by a wrong judgement. Simple!!

JeromeBlack:
Robbed? Tyson Fury was knocked down twice. Deontay earned serious points for the knockdowns.
This is embrassing coming from you. So, at this age of enlightment, you don't know that knocking someone down doesn't mean the person lost as long as he didn't stay down and won more points than his opponent?

He knocked him down, so what? Who landed the cleanest punches and won more points? Did Fury get TKOed? Oga, go Google the fight, Wilder lost. The dumb referee denied Fury a fairytale comeback.

Ben Affleck is too thick to be Batman.
Go read the link KoiceReloaded dropped, Ben was given a heavier suit in the movie. Zack Synder is a cunt_!! Affleck's not thick. Don't you know Affleck again? Are you mistaking him for The Rock? huh
TV/Movies › Re: What Movie Are You Watching Now? by Beorn: 3:44pm On Apr 05, 2019
KoiceReloaded:
At least, he still outranked Affleck. Pfft!
Yes, he did, even in my list. He's the better Batman without a doubt. I'm just trying to point out that he had some advantages working with Nolan, a superior director than Zack; acting in a superior storyline with topnotch script, better CGI, etc. The dialogs in TDK alone is superb. We're talking of one of the best comic book movies ever. C'mon!! Bale would've stood no chance of coming close to his Batman portrayal status if he starred in the shitty BvS or Justice League.
TV/Movies › Re: What Movie Are You Watching Now? by Beorn: 3:27pm On Apr 05, 2019
KoiceReloaded:
No he won't. Bale brought the character to life. Something that has never been seen before in any Batman film... bar Keaton.
Yet he isn't the best Batman in the link despite bringing the character to life. He's third, not even second. Pfft!!
TV/Movies › Re: What Movie Are You Watching Now? by Beorn: 3:24pm On Apr 05, 2019
KoiceReloaded:
And you conveniently forgot where the link also said and I quote: "Bale had already cemented himself as THE Batman for a generation; Christian would be a tough act to follow. Sorry Ben Affleck."

There's more to Batman than just wearing a chunky suit, bro.
All thanks to a superior storyline from Nolan and an iconic performance by Heath which propelled the movie's stardom.

JeromeBlack:
It is no surprise that the best heavyweight boxer is a lean guy. Deontay Wilder.

Anthony Joshua is a coward unless he fights Wilder or Fury
The same DW that robbed the wobbly England challenger who outpunched and out-maneuvered him? You got jokes, bro.

JeromeBlack:
Sharrap there, both of you!

Whi told you that the comics Batman is built like a weightlifter? Do you think Batman is bane?

Take s look at the classic Batman cartoon with bale Batman. Lean muscle.
Batman in that cartoon is not lean. Are we seeing different pictures or what? And dude, Affleck doesn't look like a weight lifter. You're confusing the abs artificially given by the suit too. In that cartoon pic, Was the suit the same as the movie's?

KoiceReloaded:
Whilst popular opinions are divided on this topic, professional critics and websites have Bale as the better Batman. Surf through the web, bro.
Bale is the better Batman, but he's helped by a superior storyline and a brilliant director in Christopher Nolan. Pair him with that useless Zack Synder and watch him become a forgettable Batman character.

I still insist that Bale being slimmer doesn't in anyway make him more athletic looking than Affleck. No frigging way.
TV/Movies › Re: What Movie Are You Watching Now? by Beorn: 3:14pm On Apr 05, 2019
KoiceReloaded:
Nigga please. You do know you that an highly talented actor can carry a film, right? Christian Bale is a better actor than Ben Affleck, and has a superior acting range. If Bale did reprise his Batman role on BvS, the film'd be competing with TDK as DC's best superhero film of the 21st century. What Affleck had going for him is charm and physic, that's all.
That's not true. You said it yourself, BvS had flat script and useless CGI. The movie was bleh. No matter how talented an actor is, there's a limit to the height he can carry a movie to. Bale being a better actor than Affleck is not the issue here, but that body-wise, stage prescence and voice, are more abundant in Affleck to portray batman better than Bale.

Bale wouldn't have gotten to the 3rd position in the link you dropped if he's the batman in BvS. That linkeeven praised Affleck for trying in a shitty movie. BvS' poor storyline fucked_ things up for Affleck.

MJBOLT:
in the comics is batman a lean muscled guy? undecided koice has not debunked anything, how come it's difficult to see even hardcore DC fans praise bale batman undecided.
Don't you mind JeromeBlack, talking as if Batman in comics was lean as Bale. Batman has the physique of Affleck!!
TV/Movies › Re: What Movie Are You Watching Now? by Beorn: 2:40pm On Apr 05, 2019
JeromeBlack:
All of you know nothing. Lean muscle beats hulking muscle.

That is why was slimmer lean Bruce Lee is better than thick church Norris. Ben Affleck has a Johnny Bravo look- Thick chest, small legs. The batsuit looked bulky on him.

Furthermore, koicereloaded has debunked you guys
Bale was not "fat" as you wrote earlier. Granted Bale was slimmer, it doesn't make him more athletic looking than Affleck. So, because Bale is more slimmer than AJ the boxer, he looks more athletic than him?

Nothing Koice wrote that I didn't know. I said Affleck would've made a better Batman if not for the crappy CGI, mediocre storyline and insipid script by Zack. That's my way of agreeing that Bale was a better Batman than Affleck, but he'd have been worse if he acted his batman during Affleck era. Batman in BvS was one of the most average batman ever thanks to a useless script and irritating CGI. Put Bale in the BvS and he'd look as poor as Affleck was.
TV/Movies › Re: What Movie Are You Watching Now? by Beorn: 12:54pm On Apr 05, 2019

BlackManta:
Ben Affleck's Batman is ten times better than Bale's.

Christian Bale was just buzzing off a great TDK trilogy.

I swear....If Ben Affleck was lucky to feature in a great Batman movie, no one would dare compare him to Christian Bale ever again.

The only thing Affleck lacked was a good story and a great Batman film.
Two things that Bale was privileged to have.
I agree totally. Affleck has a better poise, physique and stage presence to pull off the Batman role perfectly, he's just unlucky to have starred in mediocre movies as Batman. BvS had a poor storyline and there's no performance from Affleck or any other actor for that matter, that would have turned around the fortunes of that movie.

Heath Ledger has been placed on a pedestal by pasty white fanboys.Apart from "10 Things I hate about You," how many other watchable movies did he appear in before his death?
It's obvious you know nothing about Heath if you don't know the other watchable movies he appeared in.

Thank you. I thought that I was the only one seeing that Heath ledger's joker is overrated.

The guy was good no doubt but the way people act as if his acting was so good that no other joker can even cone close to his performance.....
While I believe Heath got so much accolades than he probably deserved, just like Dagrin whose death made his songs more popular than when he's alive, the truth is, Heath was brilliant in that role. The plot line of TDK was amazing as well. Heath took that role like duck to water. Forget about his death hyping his performance, I've not seen any actor portray Joker like Heath did. He acted like he's born for that role. Whether it's Brokeback Mountain, Knights Tale or The Patriot, Heath was always fantastic in his roles.

Yeah, so I've observed. Hehehe. grin

I thought the film will be very entertaining, at least from purely MMA perspective... I was wrong. Everything about the movie sucked, the plot line, or rather the non-existent plot line, the fight scenes, the acting, the cinematography, the editing. In fact, it's a proper low budget B flick. I got really annoyed watching Uwais character beaten to a pulp by the aging Jai White character, although I gotta admit, Jai white had better technic. I'd take wushu over taekwendo any day.

Lol so the punisher can defeat Thanos, Deadpool, The beyonder, Molecule man, Sentry, Dr Doom, The big G, Scarlet witch, Quick silver, Mr fantastic, Invisible woman, Iceman, Jean grey, Prof X, Magneto, Wolverine,

I don't understand. I the punisher stronger or more powerful than any of the above mentioned. Dr strange will just put him in an endless loop and that is the end.
That's why it's meaningless arguing these fictional characters supremacy because the writer or producer can accord any power or skills he wants to any character. See how dumb it sounded for The Punisher to defeat those super powers.

Lol, you not alone, one minute, you'll be like yes, i've gotten it, then the next one blows you completely away.
SPOILER ALERT
That accident scene was actually meant to be the first series of event in that movie, mother & son dies, cab driver(death)picks her up & drops her soul/ ghost which somehow still had some physical manifestation down at the harbour, before she leaves, she promises the cab driver(who is death that she is gonna return to hand over her self finally to him) she gets to the harbour & instead of her to tell the other what happened & return back to the cab driver as promised, she decides to join them on the boat trip there by breaking the promise she made to the driver (death) because she never returned, instead she sailed away with the others. That's the analogy/comparison/link between the Story about Sisyphus & hers. So because she broke the promise she made to death, her somewhat physical manifestation kept repeating & re-living the same series of events over & over again as her punishment.
Thank God I've watched this movie when Koice listed it if not, this spoiler would've ruined it all for me. LOL.

KoiceReloaded:
Maybe you should. It's obvious from the trailer the film is going to focus mainly on MMA, rather than plots and characterizations. Scot Adkins is gonna shine in this, cuz that's the kind of film he's good at. Besides, he's not even the main act, he's more of supporting, a side character. Also, the film has mix-martial art veterans like Uko Uwais (The Raid), Tony Jaa(Ong-Bak), and Tiger Chen (Matrix Reloaded), and retired UFC middle-weight champion, Micheal Bisping to more than even things out. It's gonna be a blast, I'm sure.
You've done enough to convince me especially listing the others actors in the movie except Uko Uwais which I already know. I'll give it a try.
