Spot on Bro

I thought I was the only one who noticed that
You're not the only one, it's been gnawing on my heart to tell him to slow down, but I don't want him to insult me on top of a good advice.

When he went on a cussing spree after our victory against PSG, I just knew there's no remedy to the situation. I mean, our team just did the unthinkable, with so much joy and celebration in the air, he still found a way to be raining insults. I was too happy to even troll my friends offline l. Ability to know when to strike your rival and when not to, is very much needed in all aspect of life.

I just hope HoopLA can see that football is not so serious. One win and you begin to insult anyone you can see.
Even as a fellow United fan like him, I don't like the way he cusses rivals all the time. He needs to tone it down, it's football not war. You can actually troll rivals without bloody insults.

If Young played in the right back 90 minutes, he would be very highly rated.
Wasn't Shaw playing in Young's opposite wing and yet still got a higher rating than Young? I didn't see you whip up this excuse when you posted a screenshot that rated Young above Shaw. I won't go down this route with you, you love arguing non-stop, so I'll take my leave. I don't have time for tiring senseless arguments.

The computer rating is distorted by the fact that Young played in the wing just like Pereira, in a park the bus set up.
So when a player plays on the wing in a park the bus setup, his ratings will automatically get distorted? Is this rule according to your darling, Opta? What kinda of nonsense won't we read from you this morning?

You deserve mass E-stoning for real.

Bailly could not perform because Young didn’t help him. Ajigbijigbijigbi. The most ridiculous thing I have heard in football.

But not one said Mata doesn't help Young.
Up there with your blaming of Shaw for Sanchez turning out to be a fraud and Martial ghosting in some matches.

Last night again vindicated my stance that Ashley Young is currently our best player. Just that una no know ball.

Our defence was in disarray and we looked like we were going to concede ten goals until Young went to the rescue and organized it. Making two desperate clearances to bail out the Central defenders.

Una no sabi read game. You people just have players you like and once you gang up, no one can convince you guys. The best is to stay away.
The is the classic case of coal tar calling charcoal black. The amount of irony and hypocrisy dripping from your post is so palpable that it'd stained my phone screen. What you're accusing others of is what you've been doing all season. You probably have blamed Shaw for every wrong results or goal conceded, to the extent you've accused Shaw for being responsible for the off form of Martial in some games, and probably the reason why Sanchez flopped at United.

If the sun doesn't shine or the rain doesn't fall when you want, you'll still blame Shaw and still have the temerity to criticize those that constructively pointed out the errors and lapses in concentration of Young.

If na only you know ball and all of us no know ball, e mean say na only you no know ball.

I can remember i posted about Green Book here.

Same with Blackkklansman, Sorry to bother you... e.t.c

Problem is when you start raving about such movies and two to three watched it and it isn't their taste, they will start saying you are posting over hype movies.
100% truth.

Bro, I used to be good in recommendation of movies, but nowadays, I suck at it. I barely watch movies coz of no time in my busy schedules to watch. Can you imagine it took me 3 days to finish Bohemian Rhapsody yesterday?

Other movies like Close, Hunter Killer and the rest I've downloaded weeks ago, I'm yet to watch them. I can't recommend movies these days. cry

F4ck Bohemian rhapsody.

I know its a good movie but I have not watched it because I already know the full story of Queen.

But you have to understand. The typical Nigerian likes action or action/sci-fi or superhero action .....second to that is horror and then comedy.

With that, certain artistic movies are low on the scale of preference.

Green Book and Black kkklansman have to do with race abi? Do Nigerians truly care about racism?
@emboldened, true that. That's why I don't complain if artistic movies especially those in the drama genre are not well hyped on here. And I always look at the posters or offline friends I recommend such movies to, because majority of Nigerians would find it uninteresting.

Bohemian Rhapsody......really won alot at the Oscar award( I thought the movie boring) .......... anyone who have watch this movie should talk about it..... feel like downloading

please can anyone recommend an good action film like overlord
Bohemian Rhapsody is the movie that should be getting the kind of hype some average movies on this thread gets. The movie is very interesting. You won't be disappointed. The ending scene still gets re-watched by me once in a while. Prior to watching the movie, I never knew the band/musician that sang "We'll Rock You". It got life lessons to teach too. While at it, watch Green Book. Another interesting movie that's not getting much review on this thread.

Bruh, that is just loud talk. Maybe they mean best CB animation ever made (and of course that is still debatable) except in this dimension animations like Toy Story, Zootopia, Cars, Inside Out, Cars e.t.c have not yet been made.
These sort of stupid talks emanate from these annoying MC and DC fanatics. Spider-Verse isn't better than Toy Story, Wall-E or even Lion King. Zootopia is more interesting than it.
TV/Movies › Re: What Movie Are You Watching Now? by Beorn: 3:59pm On Feb 24, 2019
SpiderMan Into the Spider-Verse is an interesting animation without an iota of doubt, but stop the tag of "Best Animation Ever". If you say SpiderMan Into the Spider-Verse is the best animation of all time, then you'd probably have seen not more than 3 animations in all your life.

Blame Rachel for getting hitched and becoming a princess... There's no way to bring Mike back alone... And Suits is basically Harvey & Mike... They probably wanna just end it on time before it starts to get boring... And it is slowly moving in that direction, minus the likes of Louis Litt and Harvey that are always on Point, the rest of the cast aren't really adding that much to the series... And the Donna character has become too annoying these days...since she was made a partner she has just been all manner of boring and annoying
I saw the ending of Suits last season when it's announced that Mike and Rachel were leaving. I've just been hoping that something could be done to salvage the situation and keep it going. But I guess every beginning has an ending. Life has to go on.

As for Donna, I don't find her annoying or boring at all, maybe it's coz of the fact I have a crush on her. I think you just miss the combo of her and Rachel that disappeared after Rachel and Mike left.

The hype no be here iswear, the movie was a poorly written & acted cliché. I gave it a 5/10 because of Noomi Rapace average performance.
Now I'm scared of watching other highly hyped movies on this thread, I'm scared that I'll end up being disappointed like I was with Close. The movie has to be up there with the most overhyped mediocre movies on this thread.

For the life of me, i still can't figure out why Suits will be ending next season. Yes, Mike and Rachael are gone and we all miss them, but c'mon!! The show is still very addictive and interesting. Why would they end it next season? It's just not fair.

Someone gave me the part one and it's interesting though with a lot of potholes and film tricks. So I decided I couldn't wait for the web download and rushed to watch it when it was released, though the part 2 wasn't that terrible, it fell way below my expectations.

Ah, a fellow victim of noisemakers in the cinema hall grin

I swear, it is a very painful experience. After paying 3,000 naira for movie ticket (which includes popcorn) and another 2,000 on top shawarma (that is 5k for one and 10k for two)!!!

That means I will pay 10k for me and my babe, only to be irritated by razz noisemakers in the cinema hall.

Please, let us spread awareness that it is bad manners to make noise or roam about in the cinema hall!
Bro, even mine was ticket for two. Both of us never enjoyed the movie. I feel cheated till this day.

No matter of awareness will give people common sense. Some people are educated but lack common sense. I've already planned how I'll watch Avengers when it drops.

I'll ignore the first two weeks after the movie drops, because within that first two weeks, a lot pf people will be rushing in droves to go see it especially corpers and undergraduates. Then by the 3rd week, on a Friday (Saturday and Sunday are always the best time for movie goers) after work by 4pm, I'll rush down to the cinema and hopefully, only a handful of adult MALES will be around and I can get have some decorum while I enjoy my movie. grin grin

5 types of rude Nigerians in the cinema

I had the worst time watching Alita the battle angel today.

I dont know why Nigerians cannot keep quiet in the cinema hall.

1) The commenters- there were some idiots that were just analysing the movie in the cinema hall as if that is their day job. Very razz set of people with no manners. The worst was that they were mixing yoruba and english....so it was clear that they were very local. Alexistaiwo knows what I mean.

2) The unsupervised kids
Why would parents/teachers leave kids between ages (6-14) unsupervised in the cinema hall? These kids are so noisy. Worse is that the movie is rated above some of their ages. I also worry for our youth as clearly the teachers/parents have refused to teach them manners (cinema etiquette)

3) The Perambulators (aka wakabout/walk-abouts)
You would think that its is only children that roam about cinema halls but no, the adults roam too. Some go to buy food, urinate, receive calls and even usher in new friends into the cinema halls. Adults should know how to clear their schedule and urinate ahead of the movie time, so that they dont have to roam about when the movie has started. Children must be supervised/warned so that they dont roam.

In addition to roaming, some aSSsholes use their phone torchlights to blind those watching the movie.

4) The gisters
These are people who come with their friends or partners to gist during the movie. They are more interested in discussing with their partners than watching the movie. There are three types;

a) The romancing couple- rather than going to a hotel to have sex and bedroom talk, they will be gisting about their personal lives through what is happening in the movie.

b) The aSSshole group of friends usually guys who are part of the "lad culture". They want to show each other how cool they are to each other. They are usually commenters who try to show off their knowledge of film trivia of the film that is playing in the cinema hall

c) The work/play/church/school group these are usually work colleagues or church friends etc who come as a group and want everyone to notice their group.

5) The phone browsers
These are the ones that are not even interested in the movie. They are either there to waste time or maybe their ticket was paid for by another person. These people fail to realise how annoying the brightness of their phone is to others in a dark cinema hall. These people will browse throughout the movie. They are usually women for some reason unknown to me.

Please, can we stop these rude behaviours? I had to embarrass a couple today because I just could not take it. I told them to shut up and watch the film because everyone else paid the same money for their tickets. angry angry They shut up and kept quiet throughout the movie wink

The last time I went to the cinema to watch a movie before this year was last two years and the movie was Bahubaali 2. Almost Everything you listed up there, I experienced it. Coupled with the fact that the film was below par, I stayed off cinemas for more than a year. Cinema goers in Nigeria are freaking annoying.

On that traumatic day, two love struck teenagers were seated in front of me, giggling, laughing and kissing like two fools that just experienced sex for the first time in their life. In short, I don't think I understood that movie. The best way to watch a movie for me is home alone, with nobody to freaking disturb me. The only movie I'm seeing again this year in the cinema is the concluding Avengers. I cannot cough out my hard earned money only for some nuisance to ruin my cinema experience.
