Politics / Re: Na'Abba: Northerners Against Zoning Because They See Buhari's Term As Waste by Beress(m): 4:11pm On Oct 24, 2021
Jflex07:
Enough of this igbo presidency talk.. To me I don't actually care though but the north must not be allowed another term in office after the mannequin.

If you care about North not taking it then you should also care about the Igbos taking it when it comes to the south. Double standard

He will not rest until the mission is accomplished. Nigeria need him now more than ever before. He’s experienced, competent, nationalistic, educated and influential enough to lead the country and set her on the path of greatness and shared prosperity.

With Tinubu as president, every region can go to sleep with their eyes closed because a nationalistic leader who will carry everybody along is on the throne. He will unite the country and give every region a sense of belonging. Even Kanu will drop Biafra agitation and accept a role in government once Tinubu strikes a deal with him. Tinubu’s presidency will be a win-win for all Nigerians.

Nah so Una talk say GMB no fit win GEJ and also said he will lose against Atiku. If GEJ a southern candidate can defeat GMB, it should let you know anything is possible in Nigeria politics. But well. But to make you sleep well at night, make I free you coward grin

GEJ won because he had an overwhelming support from the entire south. Can a Tinubu gather such support from the south?

Atiku has NEVER condemned the activities of Miyetti Allah herdsmen killing and raping Igbos.
If herdsmen kill your father today and rape your mother before stabbing her to death, Atiku will never say pim. As far as he's concerned, you are nothing.
By the way, are you aware that Atiku's wife has a law firm. Guess the name? Miyetti Law.
Go figure.

Has Tinubu could condemned it?

It seems the allowance is not for every non teaching staff. From what's there on the memo, it's only for those who are exposed to work hazards except for the Registrar and Bursar.

It's not true. Members of NAAT (i.e the Technologists) has since been paid their hazard allowance. So this should be for all other non teaching staff

God forbid we bring PDP or APC back!
PDP and APC are the same set of people
,
they just move around from one party to another, depending on where there is the next money to loot.

Look at Saraki for example, he was APC, then PDP, then APC, then back to PDP "today".
Look at Governor Umahi of Ebonyi and that Ayade from Cross Rivers, they are PDP but now they have moved to APC. Tomorrow, they will be back in PDP and you want us to vote for them again?

Look at our Legislators, they move from one party to another, "Men of the Belly".
Nigeria's problems is beyond these two Rogue parties, if we want to tell ourselves the truth and if we are intelligent Citizens, not Zombies.
We need fresh Party and fresh individuals, not these bankrupt rouges trying to be President again

Fresh party and fresh individuals will not be achieved on Nairaland. Do you have the $ might to match any of them. Stop being idealistic...be realistic.

By the time this government is investigated, corruption under Jonathan will be a child's play. Nigerians we need to bring PDP back so as to open the cupboard of this APC govt. We need to check something

“But payment of the consequential adjustments for the new national minimum wage and the allowances that are encapsulated in our agreements contained in the earned allowance; these are still things that are lagging behind and there is no end in sight, to say the least".

The fact is that the new minimum wage has not been implemented in the tertiary institutions. This was one of the reasons SSANU went on trike. Before any arrears will be paid, it must be implemented into the salary first. That's only when the arrears will be known anyway

The Academic Staff Union of Universities has served an update on its meeting with the representatives of the federal government today November 20.

ASUU disclosed that the federal government has agreed to its demand of paying their members’ salary arrears from February to June through the old salary payment platform, Government Integrated Financial and Management Information System.

The Union affirmed that UTAS which is the platform it presented as an alternative to the Federal Government's Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information System, is currently undergoing usability test.

ASUU which further revealed that the FG has offered N15billion in addition to the N20billion pledged earlier, said they will now consult with its council and then get back to the government in a short while, to make their final intention known; if the strike will be suspended or not.

Tweets shared on its official handle read;
