Present o! Been lazing around since yesterday as I’ve officially started Mat leave. My Dr suggested a membrane sweep during my next appt. I told her no oo, where are we rushing too? besides i’ll be 38 wks and I heard it’s painful.

Cc Hannydimples, I can imagine your plight, I feel same. God that has brought us this far will surely see us through.
Abeg sabi mamas chook mouth o- I’m currently entering my 40th week and the anxiety is something else. I have tried everything I can think of, been taking zobo, pineapple, dates since 37th week and I have added trekking long distance too yet no sign o. Abeg help a ftm. All this plus different styles of kpekus o!!! What do I need to do again?

Just try and relax, remember due date is just an estimate and baby can come + or - 2wks. Like @ hunniesuzie said, enjoy your time alone with DH before baby comes.

It happens but it’s very rare. Mostly a mistake from the sonographer. It’s you are not sure get another scan in a different place.

For me it’s just the constant BH contractions and getting out of bed now is war, sometimes DH helps me plus for a few days now I just hold my pee till morning.
This is us at 35 + 4. I never take another pisure since.

Thanks mama... This is my first pregnancy, I'm not having any contractions, just that it looks like something is pushing my pelvic bone and wants to drop.

My sister please how long after LO drops are they supposed to come out?. Been feeling like this for almost a week now yet no sign. By the way, my bags have been packed since March.

It’s happens 2-4 weeks before delivery for most FTM’s. Pele it will end in praise.

Good evening mamas.... Please for those that are close to their EDD and those that have birthed their LOs, does it feel like something is about to drop from the vagina ....its doing me like something wants to drop and I don't know what to do o.

Are you having contractions? If you are, I suggest you go to the hospital if not it might just be your baby dropping lower into your pelvis (engaged) in preparation for labour, but it does not necessarily mean labor will start soon ( today or in the next few days). Btw, is this your first baby? Cos with subsequent pregnancies sometimes labour starts soon after baby drops.

Sweethrt you don’t need it. Actually now that you’re pregnant the sperm does not get anywhere close to the baby. As long as your pcv is fine and your are eating well and taking your prenatal drugs, you’re good.

For me hospital bag packed( not exactly, I just threw everything inside the bag grin

) will arrange it before the wk ends. It’s like i’ll join you on this dates business. wink

As for pineapple, I doubt it would work for me because I’ve been eating pineapple in small portions throughout this pregnancy.

I noticed the purging since I added iron to my prenatals a month ago which is weird since iron usually makes me constipated. But in all we thank God.

To the glory of God and shame to the devil, my baby boy n girl arrived on the 21st May via vag delivery with little tear. They almost came 21st n 22nd o. The girl arrived at exactly 11:58pm.

2 pregnancies 4 children...am done...thanks be to God always...

To all that have given birth, congratulations, May God continuously abide with them all; to all waddling mamas, the Lord is your strength, you all shall deliver like the Hebrew woman; to all looking up to God for a joyous thing like this, it is your turn, IJN, Amen. You shall conceive miraculously n put to bed beautiful babies.

The 7 times was yesterday it's not as bad as yesterday, today I think I've been to toilet at most 3 times. Is it still a thing to be concerned about?

I think you should just watch it, stay hydrated and if in the next few days you’re going more than 2-3 times a day, please see your Dr.
