If you can't return it, just keep it & buy the infant formulae. He'll still use it eventually.

@Beryl15, what causes this umbilical hernia? I have also noticed that more babies these days have protruding navels. Could it be as a result of the after care of the navel when the cord falls off?

According to the pedi, it's happens cos the opening in the abdominal muscles( where the umbilical cord passes doesn't close properly. It's supposed to close after birth. It has nothing to do with the way the cord was cut or aftercare cos I asked. A part of the intestine passes through that's y it looks big or hard sometimes too.
I remember the day I was bombarding the pedi with plenty questions, I'm sure for him mind he go be like " this woman is looking for who to blame"

Please how do I make my baby's navel go in? It is protruding. Days after the cord fell off, it started protruding.

My dear there is nothing you can do about it o, it's Called umbilical hernia. My baby has a small one and I was told it would go in as she grows older. Pls don't try to push it in cos you might end up hurting her.

Travelstart is the most unreliable ticketing agency I have seen and I think theysue your ticket within 1 hour.got a mail from them around 7.15 that my payment has been confirmed and my ticket will be issued.got another mail around 10.20 pm that I have to pay extra N102366 that at the time of issuing that it was more.

My advice nobody should use travelstart,no good customer relation and I think they are fraud.

Sorry dear. Your best bet is to send an email and copy their top ogas in SA (had to dig it out from LinkedIn) if not its gonna take forever, that's how I got my money back one time and I doubt if you'll get a full refund.
Would check if I can dig up that email.

zobo is said to course MC although it's not been fully established. so I suggest you stay away from it for now. I drank zobo during my pregnancy( made it myself) & didn't know it had any effect on preg until recently.
If you must drink zobo, do it yourself cos I don't trust the ones made outside.

Are both breasts affected? If no then you don't have to stop breastfeeding. Breastfeed him from the unaffected boob and express the infected one( throw it away). I've had to deal with mastitis 3x now and was even told to continue breastfeeding. It cleared within a week & I never stopped breastfeeding.
I suggest you see another Dr & read up mastitis.

No need to worry so much, that you've gained 10kg does not mean big baby o! I gained 15 and 11kg with both pregnancies and babies were 3.17 & 3.1kg respectively. besides a woman who is normal weight at conception is expected to gain approximately 10-15kg by delivery;
Overweight:7-11kg
obese:5kg-9kg.

Well since nov mamas no wan give us BS make I share my friend own she gave birth on sat morning and Na Valentin kpekus ni o
I remember that Val day she and her DH dey post tempting pix anyhow for FB

So on Friday 41weeks exactly she called to say she was going for ANC and had been having mild contractions.. As soon as she got to the hospital they checked her, 2cm dialated and said she was going to be induced( for wetin Na)
Said she didn't wanna be induced so I encouraged her to go home ( stays close to the hospital) and wait it out since contractions had started already and see how it progresses ( make Una no shout for me o! It was a joint decision ) she practically sweet talked her way out of the hospital.
Few hours later contractions stopped o!
Anyway it started again in the night around 11pm plus bloody show and by 3am she left for the hospital.
Got to the hospital and was checked, 10cm dialated already....you know the rest of the story
Make una join me thank God for safe delivery.
Nov mamas God would make it easy for you IJN.

You can do it yourself( I did) Bath with hot but bearable water and have hubby massage your whole body including your tummy using a towel soaked in hot water( not 100 degrees o!)
He has to press it well o . He can do it while you're taking a bath & it doesn't have to be for so many days, one week is ok.

If you've tried cleaning it and it doesn't go then it's oral thrust not breaskmilk residue.
My first LO had it and everyone kept saying its breaskmilk but I just knew something was wrong.
You can either
1. Wait it out. Sometimes it clears on its own within a week or two or;
2. See a Dr.
Personally I suggest you go see a Dr since you said he's in pain.

Is he EBF? If yes then you have nothing to worry about..sometimes EBF babies can stay up to one week without going.
