Please sabi mamas I'm purging o, yesterday alone was like 7 times but today not so much. Is there anything I can do to stop this. My anus is paining me. Those mamas that were purging last week or so please how did you go about it? Help a sister.

Sometimes purging after the 36wk is your body prepping for labour. But 7 times is a lot o! Please see your Dr to be on the safe side.
For me the purging started last wk ( happened in previous pregnancies) but it’s like 3 times a day & I’m 35wks.

Hello mamas wey sabi. You mums are doing a great job here. Currently on my 7th week with 3 children already. My last is 4 years so imagine the disappointment when I discovered I was preggy when I thought 3 children were enough for me. Have been super sick,no appetite, can't leave the bed for an hour max. Am feeling depressed and all that which I know I shouldn't but can't help the feeling. Hubby is super supportive. Can't remember when last I cooked. Chai, now I can't even remember what it feels like to be preggy. When would this nauseating feelings go pls

Pele, it’ll pass soon. When I found out I was preggy again I cried eh, kept looking at my calander to recalculate cos I was 100% sure I did everything right.
Don’t worry this feeling will pass, it might take sometime but it will pass. Just talk to God about how you feel and ask for his peace.
I have a few wks to go and I’m really excited and can’t wait.

So my baby finally opened and is XY well according to scan. 34weeks today, 6weeks to go. Shopping done and dusted. Excess pooing dealt with me last night that I was sweating and crying, took 3 sachets of water. Difficulty turning in bed, waddling.

It'll surely end in praise.

I recently experienced something that happened to me during my first pregnancy.
I feel dizzy in crowd like I want to pass out or something. Especially in Christian meetings or in the market. Just any Crowdy environment.
I remember how I developed phobia for meetings during my first preggie cos of the horrible experience.. Peeps will start gathering to tell me ekpele

The other day I had to grab a pole to support myself sat down, closed my eyes for some minutes just to get myself back.. Once that feeling passed I took d nearest taxi back home forgetting what I went to the market to buy

I guess your PCV level is low. Talk to your Dr and have them run a test, if it’s low you’ll be given iron supplements i.e if you’re not taking one now. I have experienced this in all my pregnancies.

With great joy in my heart, I announce the safe delivery of my princess on 12/5/18 via VD with a little tear. My EDD is 29/5/18 but baby decided to come earlier weighing 2.4kg at 37 weeks 4days. As a Ftm, I must confess that I met my ancestors that day. The pain is unimaginable. I give God the glory for everything. Baby and mother are fine now and hubby is so happy. B.S will come shortly.

Sorry for the hemorrhoids dear, that thing can make someone sit and walk uncomfortably, it'll be as if you're carrying small remaining poop. Just do sitzbath religiously and it'll go. Some said scent leaf helps too.

Mine has become painful and sitting is a problem. Thanks dear, I’ll try the sitz bath. How does scent leaf work? Do you chew it or?

The twin mama asking about breech, if I were you, I will jejely do CS as na 2 you carry sef. You can get your shot at VD during a second pregnancy.

In other news, I now have hemorrhoids it’s not funny at all. It started shortly after the delivery of my 1st but subsided. It reappeared .again last week.

Yes, you would need a fit to fly letter signed by your Dr. Another alternative would be to get one from the health nurse at the airport(I can’t remember what dept that is)

Most airlines would not carry you at 36 wks. Please contact the airline and find out what their policy is before you book the flight.
I personally have travelled long distance at 35+ wks.

Please Mamas in the house, my doctor is saying because of my height (about 5'1or 2) thati would most likely have to go for CS. For now he says we should do a scan at 36weeks to determine baby's weight but I should put mind for CS. Pls I need mamas opinions o, does height determine Cs or not.

I’m 5.2 and I’ve had my babies through VB. Don’t let that Dr talk you into CS with this height talk abeg. Except a scan says your pelvis is too small. I’ll seek a second opinion.

Please is it normal for a baby (4months) to be loosing so much hair? Initially i thought its the johnson's baby oil i was applying on it that was making him lose the hair, i had to change the oil to appying ori(shea butter), but it didnt stop, then i changed to vaseline blue seal but he is still losing much hair. To make matter worse when he is so excited, his hands goes straight to his hair and he starts pulling them. I try my best to always take his hands off them and replace it with something else to play with. My baby is beginning to have almost a bald hair. My baby was born with so much hair and i mean so much . Hubby and I have full hair but i dont understand this one.

Please help me out. Is there something im not doing right. Thank you as i anticipate your candid answers.

It happens early with some babies. At least it happened with my 2nd. At 3 months she lost all the hair around here edges( not just the front) and it didnt start growing back until she was almost 1.
Babies would loose some hair at some point before they are 2 years old even if you don’t cut it.

i am heartbroken. i gave birth to a baby boy thursday lastweek and lost him on saturday morning. i had prolonged labour. i was in labour for close to 48hours. for the first 24hrs, i was dieing in pain, yet nurses will check me and say am just 2cm dilated. It was when they decided to section me that i finally gave birth, inside theatre room. my baby came out and did not cry, was very weak. they supported him with oxygen only for him to die after 2days. since then hv been in pain. pain that i lost my child, and vagina tear they gave me. please pray for me am finding it difficult to move on. pray for God to bless me with twins and wipe my tears.

Sorry for your loss mama. May God comfort you and bring you peace at this time. You’ll smile again and come back to testify. Hugs

I saw the Dr and my iron levels are really low so i’m taking supplements now. It’s not part of the routine drugs here.
Hopefully it goes back to normal in 4 wks cos I no fit do IV.

Good morning Mamas, I've come with my QUESTION again...pls
I once complained about my itching and peeling areola which led to sore. I visited the doctor and was given hydrocorrisone cream to apply for 2 wks. A friend here also asked me to always clean it with methylated spirit. After a while everything came to normal. I stopped the whole process for a while and started noticing some flaking again and signs that the sore was going to return. That was how i resumed my routine again. Every morning, i clean with spirit and apply the cortisone. But everytime i clean, the cotton wool will be very dirty as shown.

My question is, why is it always dirty or is that how our areola is? I don't mind any info on breast hygiene. because i don't think i can be cleaning with spirit after birth.

I think it’s dead/ flaky skin that is coming off when you clean it and since the areola is really dark, the flaky skin coming off would be dark/ dirty looking in color.
As other mamas have said, stop the methylated spirit as it will just dry off the skin there and make the flaking worse.
