Newww1: People of God please I need your urgent advise.
My husbands VV was submitted since may no response so as at now his passport remains 6months to expiry. We have gone to immigration to apply for a new one. How do we present this when they ask for passport considering the passport number will be different.
Secondly I have a study/work permit so can I apply for his work permit from my GCKey even thou we haven't heard from them regarding the Visit visa.
Kindly assist with a response you will literally be saving a soul Send the new passport through webform and emails. So when they request for his passport, you will send both the old passport and the new passport but they will stamp the new passport. |

Processing time for visitor visa of applicants from Nigeria is now 124 days. They keep reducing the processing time but they are not answering people. Almost everybody is now above the processing time, yet no decision. Even eligibility review has not started for most people. Why is IRCC doing like this? |

Eazyfella: My later of invitation carries 'visiting June", now that the month has been exceeded do I need a rewrite (update to December) or bo need For most people, the date they ought to travel has passed. Though if someone still meet the requirements, IRCC will still approve the visa. They won't look at the date but rather, the eligibility. |

IRCC is brutal. My friend was rejected this morning, that's exactly two weeks after submitting his application and one week after biometrics. I couldn't believe it when he called me few minutes ago to tell me about the sad news because it was too fast. At first, I was like do they even check the application at all. How can you reject someone exactly 14 days after submitting his application. I don't know IRCC can actually reject an applicant from Nigeria within two weeks but they can't approve applicants from Nigeria within two weeks.
Anyway, it seems most people are now getting rejected based on financial reasons. Please, if you are going for a 2yr course. Just make sure that all the money is readily available in your statement of account. I don't think IRCC is considering one year POF again. You will notice the trend if you follow the rejection on this forum recently. If your 2yrs course will cost you $50k in total and you provided $40k which is more than enough for the first year only, there's 90% chance that they will reject the application. That's what I noticed now. |

Peaceful004: 8000 CAD and her duration of stay was 6 months. We already mentioned she will be staying in our home, so açcomodation was like free. So obviously 8k for 6 months was more than enough. There is a place they usually ask how much applicant has for the trip. However our combined statement of account was about 20k CAD. But I have seen people who had 10k balance and their parent got it. Please if you re applying for normal visiting visa for your parents, don't fill in 6 months as duration of stay biko. It was because this was a super visa that was why the 6 months duration of stay didn't pose issues. Please, I think with super visa, ones parents can stay in Canada as long as they want or is that not so? |

Peaceful004: Thanks everyone. I have PR and invited my parent. First application was July last year but.no update on it until Aril 2022. Normal Visiting Visa
New application: April 10 2022 New portal Super Visa Medicals passed.....April 25 Loooooooooong Silence.
Then there was ADR on her old application to be submitted by 8th of October The ADR was one form Schedule 1 IMM5 something. I have forgotten.
Biometric validation letter and PPR....SEPT 29th. PPR appeared on the new portal. BVL appeared on both new and old but the PPR she got was for Super Visa. Documents submitted Her passport Medical insurance for 1 year...very compulsory for Super visa POF was 100 percent from us, she is retired Letter of invitation from my spouse and I stating we ll be responsible for her for her stay in Canada Our Paystubs and Employment letter Our Notice of Assessment for last year. If you re PR and want to do super visa for your parent, ensure your family income meets the LICO for your family size plus the person you re inviting.
God will grant those still awaiting their PPR.
P.S : Is passport photograph no longer required when submitting passport. Biko, I remember we submitted passport photo or is it not needed for Visiting visa. Thanks a lot Please, if you don't mind, how much POF did you submitted? |

Tell us what you to get PPR and what you did tonget refusal. I think all these itkis ppr claiming silent readers are never members here. They are from their agents group. When ppr drops they come here to praise the agent so people will contact him or her
I am not against this. I joined this thread from page 1. I have read and learnt alot. I have been talking to very good people here. I hope to apply very soon. I am still here learning from mistakes and success of people I think this is what this group should be about. It will be a success whenever you submit your application by the grace of God |

Please, I want to say something. Please, don't attack me o. I think we are gaining little/nothing from this thread now. People will get PPR and the only thing they will write is it's PPR guys and then put the date they applied, did their biometrics, medicals, the day eligibility review started, etc. The truth is all those are useless. Totally useless, at least to me, I don't know about others. I don't care about the date you did all those, all I care about is how you do it, the documents you submitted, the steps you took when it's getting delayed, how you package your application, etc. Let's stop all this date stuff, nobody is learning anything from it. By the grace of God, when my PPR dropped, I will write everything in details including webforms I sent and what it entails. That's the only way someone with similar profile will know what exactly to do. I beg of you, let us change and start dropping something meaningful when we receive our PPR. This place is not for show off, we are here to learn. Biko, let's work on that. Thank you |

Has anyone gotten any feedback for theirs? I think it will be better if people start ordering for their GCMS notes. |
