WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT 3G, 4G AND LTE



Most of us make use of smart phones with certain network labels such as 2G, WCDMA, GSM, 3G,4G and LTE. Here, i will be talking mainly about the technology behind these network types and what they mean. For the scope of the topic i will focus only on 3G, 4G and LTE. There is a bask in euphoria of 4G/LTE phones or Sims, in fact there is a current massive demand for Sim upgrade to 4G/LTE.

The “G” stands for generation, e.g 4G means fourth Generation, since it is the fourth generation of mobile data technology, LTE stands for “Long Term Evolution” and applies more generally to the idea of improving wireless broadband speeds to meet increasing demand.



2G:

2G is a wireless network protocol that provides gateway for calls, basic text message (sms), and small amounts of data over a protocol called MMS. Since this network can only transmit small amount of data, it makes it a relatively slow network to surf with. This is the reason why you experience a slower connectivity whenever your smart phone shows 2G/EDGE while browsing.

3G

3G is a more advanced network than the 2G network, the 3G connectivity makes it possible for a number of larger data formats much more accessible, including standard HTML pages, videos, and music. Here, the speed is still pretty slow, and mostly requires pages and data specially formatted for this slower wireless connection. By 2G standards, the new protocol was speedy, but still didn’t come anywhere close to replacing a home broadband connection.

4G

The 4G explanation is a tricky one, it is actually a futuristic network technology that is hopped to be attained but not yet attained in the real sense. There is a set standard in terms of speed and connectivity to be attained as laid by ITU-R (International Telecommunication Union) before a 4G network can be said to be attained. This standard in terms of speed and connection states that ,for mobile use, including smart phones and tablets, connection speeds need to have a peak of at least 100 megabits per second 100mb/s, and for more stationary uses such as mobile hotspots, at least 1 gigabit per second 1gb/s. No network has actually achieved this thus far, but with the significant improvement on later 3G networks (3.5G and 3.75G), they became classified as 4G networks since they were able to achieve a sizable speed and connection even though they did not meet the 100mb/s and 1gb/s peak standards that will qualify a network to be a 4G network.

LTE



LTE stands for Long Term Evolution. This is not a network technology per say but the path followed to achieve 4G speeds. As it stands, most of the time when your phone displays the “4G” symbol in the upper right corner, it doesn’t really mean it.


Lastly, as you enjoy the speed of the near 4G network, try to enjoy buying of more data as your data volume gets exhausted on time.

Good day, i graduated at the ABU zaria with a 2:2 in physics but my career is now on the path of ICT as i am now more in to computers and other ICT gadgets. My pain is that i graduated at the age of 25 and i have written several tests and attended several interview and have applied in the civil service but with no luck since i dont know anyone in power, politics or influential as most of my friends. I am now 30 yrsof age and my chances of getting a job is further limited due to the age restriction by most recruiters as such i have given up hope as i no longer apply for jobs. I have a vission of started a mini ICT center but with no capital as i am stuck where i am. Although i still thank God every Day for life.

I was born into a Christian family in the early 80’s. well brought up and groomed by my parents. I had the best of education and grew up among my peers. I knew peace, love and was focus in my studies until I discovered pornography in secondary school. I was involved in pornography for almost 11 years of my life that I was crowned the king of porn during my University days…peer pressure. Each time I passed through different boys hostels in our school, I was hailed and encouraged. A lot of students came to download and copy this porn to their phones and laptops. I had different collections of it then until I found help and with the help of God I was able to come out of from my. I must tell you it is the devils way of enslaving Christians into the pit of hell. You lost concentration as a result of uncontrollable use of porn, I thought negatively of all sorts of insane things, masturbation and womanizing actually became my hobby.

I used to watch dozens of pornography films weekly that it became a habit for me that affected me psychologically and negatively. I tried a lot of countless times but couldn’t withstand it because I didn’t know how to do it. Then one day I decided to quit porn completely and just right away my life turned around for good with the help of Jesus Christ and that is what I want you to achieve too in 2015.

I stopped watching porn because I seeked for help in the right places. I confided in my mentor about my predicament and my friend who is also a medical doctor in one of the Teaching Hospitals in Nigeria. He was able to take a history of my past activities and the circumstances surrounding my excessive crave and demand for porn and nudity. He had to place under special monitoring and developed a system that worked for me perfectly in checkmating my trigger points. I also had to work hand in hand with a psychologist and life coach who I signed up under his tutoring classes. I must tell you that cost me some money because those services didn’t come cheap. But the results started showing up by second week. Within some few weeks of conscious effort to quit porn I was gaining confidence and seeing results. More concentration and good use of my time.

My dear friend, ever since I stopped watching pornography, I have been able to save money, get married and have a thriving business of my own. My love life has improved greatly as well because I no longer live in the shadow of the past when I found it difficult relating to my girlfriend emotionally. Pornography made me weak and sober after engaging in such a shameful acts.
If you are addicted to pornography, I urge you to consider quitting today in 2015. Yes! It is possible. Take a pen and write your GOALS and action plan and together I will personal work with you to quit this terrible habit. Go for confession today in the church, talk to a respected man of God who will help in deliverance and counselling for you. Your life will change in so many positive way. You will begin to connect with God and experience tremendous breakthrough and success. Remember your body is God’s temple, do not defile it. I wish you fast recovery and total freedom from the addiction of pornography in Jesus Name.

Well I saw the advert on daily trust news paper of 03-02-2015. Since it was on the news paper, I decided to go and pay. After payment, I then asked the bank's cashier to give me my pin for the payment. He told me that they are not issuing any pin with respect to that account that I should call the numbers from the website in question. I called the numbers and they were all switched off and I thought that I've been duped.







The question now is have I actually been duped? Since I've never been duped before.
