I took a closer look at the clip from DeepBlue and came to the realization that that the aircraft shown in this video has a T-Tail and is certainly not a Cessna Citation. It could be a Bombardier Lear Jet. Furthermore I would like to note the Nigerian Navy is not inducting any of the aircraft and vessels featured by Deep Blue. Deep Blue is a service provider that is contacted to provide surveillance Data to Nigerian government agencies.
Nice observation but who are going to be operating this asserts...?
Don’t tell private contractors/organization neither the ministry of transportation can handle training of personnel or maintenance of the aircrafts.
Eventually it would be transferred to the air force if your assumptions are right, just my own thoughts !

BHT/ISWAP TERRORISTS ON THE RUN, AS TROOPS INTENSIFY OFFENSIVE OPERATIONS

In continuation with the war on terror, the well motivated and gallant troops of 7 Division and Sector 1 Operation LAFIYA DOLE (OPLD) have continued to effectively stage ambushes and other successful offensive operations against the BH and ISWAP Terrorists within the Sector's Area of Responsibility (AOR).

This laudable effort has been reflected in several successful ambushes and fighting patrols conducted by units within the Sector's AOR in line with the directive of the Chief of Army Staff(COAS)for all Sectors to dominate and maintain aggressive offensive posture against the terrorists in the ongoing Operation KANTANA JIMLAN.

In compliance with the order, on the 11th of May 2020, troops of Army Super Camps 6 and 7 led by the Commanding officer of 222 Battalion Konduga conducted series of long range fighting patrols on identified and suspected terrorists' hideouts along Adzunge and adjoining localities. No contact was made as the terrorists fled the villages on sighting the troops. However, troops found a wooden boat in Adzunge village and destroyed it. The following Items were also recovered - 2 X motorcycles and 1X Lister Grinding Machine.

Similarly, based on intelligence, troops of Strong Response Area (SRA) Pulka, on the 13th of May 2020, in collaboration with Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) and Hunters successfully staged an ambush operation at a well known terrorists' crossing point along Pulka-Bokko-Kirawa road. The Ambush resulted in the death of eight BHTs while others fled in disarray with bullet wounds. The following items were recovered: 10 X Bicycles, assorted food items and some items of intelligence value.

I remember making some observations about this mrap. And kabe was putting me down....truthfully the army doesn't have the technical ability to make an mrap....they should have just stuck with proforce and negotiated a good deal based on number of vehicles....but I guess, the generals needed to make extra money.
Make extra money ?
It will take a lot of modifications and adjustments, will get there !

I doubt the vt4 would be used in the north east, we have lost a lot of weapons based on attrition , I think the new weapons are to free the old weapons in other parts of the country to be moved into the northeast , when the new weapons are used to restock Nigerian arsenal.

I think the air force used the same logic, in buying 3 jf17 too, to reduce the gap of lost f7 jets
So what’s the use of buying them if they are not going to be used in the ongoing onslaught ?
Anyway time will tell wink
