Easy... Don't eat me...

Men can love. But they are mostly taken for granted.

From what I see, women nowadays don't even want to be loved. They want to date a man that would take them through a James Bond movie like life till they age out.

Women love men opportunistically. Their "love" is centered around what they stand to gain from the man's pocket.

Men, on the other hand, attempts to buy a woman's attention, affection and body with money.

I can't say for sure how this chain reaction began, might have been men who thought money is what and all they need to get women that made women to become what they are today, or

It was the woman's demands for material things in exchange for everything she can offer as a woman who made men have that mindset.

Both parties are guilty.

Men have refused to step up and be better. They think all that's needed of them is to make money and women will automatically fawn over them. False. Not in this modern age were women work and earn. Men still want traditional roles but aren't willing to play that part (paying all the bills, renovating the house, fixing the sink etc. Traditional masculine activities) and honestly, it's not even appealing to women anymore (the educated ones) because we still take the bulk of responsibility for the home and child rearing, in addition to working.
