9jii: Your Uncle is one hell of a storyteller. He even told me that some senior officers had suggeated that he disappear with the money that there woundnt be any traces. But he valued his name than those illegitimate wealth. |
dan55: andWhat more do you want to hear? |
nedu2000: Op,the point isn't the arms dealing, the issue is that the said about is being laundered, that's why there was no officer involved....simple case of looting or according to GeJ,stealingSo what do think could be the role of the Isreali who accompanied them? I know Isrealis to be major arms dealers mostly in the black market. |
I was opportuned to discuss the state of the nation with my Uncle who is a retired Group Captain in the Nigerian Airforce. My uncle who is non partisan told me that it is a common occurence in the military circle for such large sum of money to be transfered mostly during when the country is faced with security threats. He told me that he was the leader of the team that travelled during the Abacha junta with millions of dollar in cash to The United States to procure arms. I queried him about what the arms were meant for as we didnt really have serious internal crisis like we have now. He responded by saying that those arms were actually bought in order to use and secure the volatile Bakassi Pennisular. He further revealed how they American Arms dealers almost fleeced them by parking fake and substandards arms to them. He revealed that the money in their aircraft flown from Nigeria was more than the current $9.3million and was not declared but atleast was carried by military officers so that is where the government went wrong on the $9.3million saga for failing to send atleast an officer to accompany the deal. He concluded by saying that such movement of large sums are a day to day activities that shouldnt raise dust........................ Nairalanders what do think?.............................. Posting this with my 3310 Nokia, so please take heart. |
This is an opportunity to stage a mass prostest against the Royalty of that community and ensure the whole place is set ablaze. Sorry bro. |

So that he will build more schools in Chad and Niger Republic. Gej till he's tired of ruling. |
Ibnsultan: Jonathan is indeed clueless & dumb.I rather think your dead father and mother are dumb and clueless. Imagine the insult on the President? |
pussygotlips: If osama was to be in US he would have been killed long time ago,you can't compare the twoAnd they told you Shekau was in Nigeria? Keep believing those pink skin americans who do not want anything good from Nigeria. |
In that case Osama Bin Laden is not dead. The americans only played a fast one on the whole world because they have no better evidence. It took them about eleven years to kill Osama while it took The Nigerian Army only two years to kill a terrorist in the category of Osama. Have you seen where the ENVY crept in? |
nijanigga: Because of cowards like you.The goat is out. |
Crazyadlin: dt is Truism my bro ur so on pointntang sifitidi. How Uyo na? |
dekronik: Lessons for Nigeria. We don't even know fake Shekau from real Shekau. Americans are identying masked men from video while we are just beating around the bushI dont want to believe that you have a brain of a goat. Are you not a Nigerian? Must you insult Nigerians before you make your point? Becareful.... |
That's a good one, atleast it wasnt cash transaction. Period of seven years is okay. We can also use this arms to topple the government of President Paul Biya of cameroon because they are wicked neighbour. |
Youngzedd: Chop knuckle.I chop am since, hw u dey na? |
lurvy:I disagree with you, they story was first reported by Vanguard Newspaper. Most of Nairaland stories are copy and paste, although Nairaland deserves some kudos for the wide publicity. |
