boss.. In kubwa here in Abuja, One bedroom is 500k to 750k and kubwa is more like an estate while in gwarimpa you will see it at the same rate.. Also in some parts like dutse alhaji you will get it for 350k to 400k. Dutse alhaji is much more cheaper than any other places in Abuja. At most 400k sir.

Wow.tjis is really helpful.Though my budget is around 500k max that is why I need somewhere close to town like at least 10 mins drive.Though I am also planning on getting a small car to help me move around easily.My major concern is security and I will really like to stay in an estate which you made mentioned of.

Depends on your budget. Kubwa is close to town with water and average lighting. It is also secured. You can also get decent houses in estates. Just speak to house agents or use Google to search for your demands. I have a friend who stays at Karu before Nyanya for 250k one bedroom. He said it's big and all... So I asked him how much he spends for transportation he said average of 800 naira per day. Now I say in Kubwa for 300k one bedroom although not as big as his and I only spend 400 naira per day on transportation. If you do the maths , you'll see that my friend spends about 450k for rent without him knowing. So my advice to you is not just to consider the cost of the rent alone but also the distance to town and the stress involved in going out and coming in everyday.

E better make you calculate your transport add to the rent and get somewhere closer to town. Sometimes people who stay closer to town and pay higher rent spend less than those who stay far away and pay lesser. You no go know until you calculate transportation. So you can have someone who pays 400k for rent actually paying cheaper than one who pays 200k but stays in a far place. U understand abi

So where will you advise me to stay in Abuja that has all the basic amenities and also security most importantly.

I stay in Abuja and I won't advice anyone to live around Nyanya/Mararaba area. Insecurity plus serious traffic go make you leave rent for landlord park comot except you're a business man who can resume work at anytime. But if you work in a proper office get ready to dey wake up by 4 to start preparing for work and then leave town around 8pm to avoid traffic.

Is the environment well secured because security is of most importance to me.

Nyanya is like 25 minutes drive to town when their is hold up and 10 minutes drive to town when their is no hold up
